hadex90: i heard some seed need to be parboiled before planting like ewedu, just not sure maybe its just the ewedu It is called corchorus. It does need to be parboiled before planting. Some people "soak it in warm water" not parboil to destroy every inhibitor that will prevent it from germinating. If you get your seed from a sure source then you don't need to soak in "warm water" Make your beds,if you have dried poultry droppings or cow dung mix it with the soil then plant your seeds by sprinkling in it on the bed but make sure you mix your seed with a small portion of soil before planting. There are different methods of planting though but the one I just told you is the broadcasting method. After planting, water it immediately then continue wateribg "every morning and evening" till you harvest.regular weeding is important. google for more informations too. fpeter: Let me drop my Praise report here...my testimony!
I have been trying to conceive for some years now, I was told both my tubes were blocked. Recently HSG showed that my left tube was open but the right was still blocked. So, every month i have to take some medications and trigger shots to stimulate the open left tube but It never worked because i kept responding on the right tube which is blocked. After the Praise challenge of last night, Nathaniel Bassey said we should ask God for just one thing, something big that only God could do, I told God to touch my left tube and cause it to respond to treatment I had an appointment with the Dr today and for the first time since we started this treatment, I got a positive report today. My Dr was happy to announce to me that the left tube was responding positively...Only God can do this and i return all the glory to Him alone...Amen! Alleluia! Glory!! Wow...am happy for you, more positive news in Jesus name |

VickyRotex: So yea, its time to share!
Someborry Chante Halleluyahhhhh!!!!!
I bind every spirit of Procrastination IJN!
BENNY HINN'S CONFERENCE 14th and 15th of June, 2017.
I'll try to make it short I dont want to confuse anyone, cos If I share it the way He shared it.... uhhhlalalala He even had to ask if we're matured in the word, to take some of the Revelations in. They were Powerful! So here we go: Day 1:
The Ministry of Power. "The Power in the Blood".
Here his ministration focused on soul winning. He said "I will feed you, then pray for you" Not the other way round. There is power in the blood, because it brings The Holy Spirit.
He talked about the importance of our soul. The importance of nourishing our soul. Knowing that: We are Spirits, We have a Soul, and we live in a Body. The body is our tenth, it's an earth suit. We need to look beyond that. And that's why when we are sick, we ought to say, "My Body is sick" Not me. Cos I am a Spirit. Our Spirit is one with God, and that's why we Look Like Him. That's why He created us in His image and likeness. What happens when we die? What reunites with the maker? This is what we ought to focus on more.
Passages to read: Ezekiel 18 vs 4 Ephesians 1 Genesis 3:21 Genesis 7 Genesis 8:20 Genesis 26:24 (Every Promise of God, cannot be yours without the Blood) Exodus 24: 4-5, Exodus 25 (The devil cannot cross the Bloodline) 5 Application of the Blood to our Lives and how we are covered. (Job 1:5, Job 1:10) 1. You! 2. Your House 3. All you have/Possession 4. Family 5. Your Influence.
Job 1: 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.
Genesis 4:3 (The importance of Blood and significance to God) Jesus was crucified right from Genesis 1. When Trinity met before creation. It was a done deal, even before The New Testament came to being. One of the significance, was the sacrifice of animals made for redemption in the Old Testament.
Hebrews 9:12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.
Finally, Jesus shed His Blood 7 times, to fulfill the Scripture. And each of them signified something in our lives (I searched for this, and saw a link that explains it) http://www.aspentree.org/2010/04/the-seven-places-jesus-shed-his-blood/
Just to add, I have been reading my Bible, I have always known that Adam named Eve, but I never for once saw this passage of the Bible in this light. Genesis 5:2 "He created them male and female, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."
cc: Dainikel
Day 2, will be shared below tomorrow, so it doesnt get too much to take in today. I tried to make Day 1, as short as possible o More grease to your elbow sis |

segtak25: Good Afternoon ,
I need your Career advice on something have been thinking and researching on for some weeks now. i graduated from the University of Nigeria , Nsukka april this year. When I told my uncle Who had promised to sponsor me abroad for my Master degree earlier this year. He was very happy and said i should start the process for the admission in canada so that i can resume with them September 2018. According to him he said i should process the admission and Visa apllication when partaking in the compulsory Nysc.
The main Issue bothering me now is , I will be Mobilised for Nysc Program by november this year which will be completed October Nextyear(2018) Msc program in any institution in Canada starts September, that is a month before the completion of NYSC. Meanwhile, Institutions in canada commence course and other registartion for masters degree in August (2018).
There are two option i'm thinking of:
1.I am thinking of Skiping NYsC but afraid i might need it in future.
2.If i decide to put in for Nysc , There is a popular saying that "Opportunity knocks but once"..
We all know Nysc is getting smart everyday
Pls my fellow Nairalander , i need your advice on these .. Instead of going for the September 2018 admission, you can go for January 2019.Just start processing your admission during Nysc into 2 or 3 universities that accept students into your "department" in January. Immediately after nysc you can then travel. I can't imagine finishing my MSc program then coming back for nysc |

jayinfo2: Hello nairaland, please help a brother I just came to a consciousness that I can't do thing's by my power again. I have relied on my capabilities and have failed. Now I know it's only God that can direct me right.
I have made a resolution to get closer to God but I can't do this all by myself
That is the reason I came back to Lagos from the north.
I currently stay at Abule Egba Lagos and I need a good church that I can be committed to and would help my spiritual and physical life even if it is not near Abule Egba. Since I don't have the holy spirit yet to lead me to a good Church.
Please tell me a good church that can bring me back to life.
I really need your help . I stay at abule egba and attend RCCG around the area. You are always welcome there.if you don't mind send me a pm |
Agriculture › Re: Why Tomatoes Are Always Expensive From May Till July And The Glut In August by omolorlarh: 4:03pm On Jun 09, 2017 |
sammydirectly: Jesu! I planted okra, ewedu (Jute spinach), tomatoes, pepper, tete and shokoyokoto...somehow together.
I planted ugwu, bitterleaf and scent leaf (effirin) on seperate places.
My observations -
pepper didn't grow at all. Birds are eating the tete, apart from the normal snails, locusts, grasshoppers and butterfly wahala. I just had time to weed around the tomatoes, so I'm hoping it will start yielding but i wonder why it's taking so long. The ewedu, okro and shoko are doing fantastically well. Small snails kinda like the okra leaves.
I read online that the okra leaves should be cut so that the okra can do much better. Will do that when I come back from my traveling.
For ewedu, u have to dip the seeds into warm water and then dry before planting Good one, well done I don't know about cutting okro leaves though. Not compulsory to soak the ewedu seeds into warm water before planting. infact,I have never soaked the seeds and my ewedu always comes out well. For the tete I wonder why birds are eating it.I don't usually have issues with leafy vegetables. You can try regular weeding and watering. I have not planted tomato and pepper personally before. |
