Ever since I had my own share of all these highway policemen , I don't believe any of this news. For all you know these guys are innocent and have been framed to confiscate their car or whatever was seen with them. Wondering about my own experience, I went to Lagos to buy a car and before Okada Benin Lagos road I was stopped and taken straight inside bush and held hostage. Inside the bush is a bamboo house with locals boys working for them, they had already dig a grave and one of the police pointed at it and said if I don't transfer every kobo I have got that he will be shot and buried there. This was in 2020 immediately after the protest. How did they release me? The Hausa driver that I was with couldn't wait any longer. He called my sister in Lagos who introduced him to me and my sister ask him to go find me and also my sister immediately called me. I picked the call the police ask me to put the call on 🔊 and then my sister ask me in Igbo that the Aboki driver said police took me inside bush along Okada and that's how one of the police that's an Igbo knew whatever they do to me there would be trace and boom the Aboki driver also fund us. They wanted to kpai their papa and collect the unnumbered car . Very bad experience.
