Hello Siena, please I need your opinion on something.I have a 2002 Volvo S80 and I want increase it's ground clearance.It came with a set of tyres with size 215/ 55 R16.What other size of 16'' tire can I buy to make it a bit higher from the ground without necessarily having to buy a new set of 17' WHEELS.

The picture is recent.I still use the car as we speak.I have sent the pictures you requested to your box.Its a 1994/95 model.as u are would know if u are a bmw enthusiast, they maintain this shape for the 3 series from 1992- 1998 with only slight changes in the 98 in terms of gear gauge.

bankole200: Pls help, my car makes this sl[b][/b]ight noise which I consider abnormal from the engine side.I tried to check if the exhaust is leaking but nothing like that, I also notice that the acceleration is poor coupled with high fuel consumption. I have changed the spark plugs several times but all to no avail. The fuel injector has been serviced too. 'M considering two options: 1. To know what is wrong and fix it 2.to dispose it off and buy a car that will be cost effective for me because of the nature of job I do.
Pls what is your take on this?

Did you remove the thermostat?That could be responsible for the fuel consumption.For the poor acceleration, considering that you have checked the injector and plugs, i suggest you check the fuel pump.If that happens to be fine, just go for a scan.I pray its not your transmission.

I have seen people pay more for a 4cyl Accord than a Acura. Japanese car have higher second hand value because they get exported to Africa.

Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ford explorers sell a lot more than 4Runner, and Pilot, they may even stop making the 4runner.

Americans do not see Africa as a market, they are focused on new car sales, and the policy in Africa is not conducive i you consider the volume of new car sales. Paying $6k duty on a new car 25% of value excluding freight is kills capitalism.

YEs BMW does not hv a second hand value because nigerians price it ridiculously.I presently put up my BMW 318 for salew and u need to see the ridiculous offers I was getting.ITs just ignorance anyway cos BMW is one of the strongest and most reliable cars .BUt trust nigerians once its not TOyota or honda then it is no car while there are thousand of better brands at cheaper price.they keep telling you about reliability and I tell them what you give is what u get.- used my bmw for 5years and till date it has given me no issues asides from normal chnaging of regular stuff-ball joint, linkage etc.ALthough u need to get a good mechanic because an average mechanic cannot fix ur bmw.even to fix the fan belt they will get lost.BUt what I tell people is this if you are investing in a car, let's even say a brand like volvo from 2002 upwards, why would u not scan your car for just 5k and know the real problem instead of just giving it to the road side butchers.BUt I tell u nigerians are missing BMW is a wonderful car, in fact it is a machine.
