Popular Nigerian singer, Kingsley Elikpo popularly referreed to as DJ Zeez is currently in troubled waters as a High Court in Lagos has ordered him to remit N22.3 million to his record label, HF Music.

DJ Zeez who has been in a legal battle with his record label over his refusal to do new music got the judgement handed to him by the presiding judge, Honourable Justice B.A. Oke-Lawal in the Lagos court.

The singer was dragged to court in September 2015 by HF Music due to his breach of his recording contract. The producer and singer is said to have refused to record new music but was still heavily promoted by the label in order to maintain his relevance.

A copy of the judgement has been leaked online but the singer is yet to comment on the judgement.
