Good roads! Though CCC or either CCECC did greater part of it while IDC did shoulder land. They all look good..and I know that road sweepers are on it daily! Even states around cannot boast of such 8lane roads.
Development is continuum..and we shall continue to lead the pack!
tabletman1: Nna my brother, na so I see am oh. I don't know what's wrong with Ansg, they seem to be slow in development, since last year they have been repairing 1km of upper iweka road and they are yet to complete it, the lanes they have completed looks shabby, obiano should do something abt this IDC cos they lack good arts in finishing touch.
I was disappointed to hear they are yet to start their airport project, I was busy looking for the workers handling the so called dual carriage way. The only thing is that he is constructing more rural roads in aguleri.
Remove Peter Obi from your list because his main resident is the high brow Onitsha GRA, he equally grew up in Onitsha. Ngige has his hotel in Awka where he built his personal house very close to the hotel. Ojukwu has always lived in the SE though his dad owns number of real estate in Lagos which he acquired when it was the capital of Nigeria. I don't know much about Orji but as a pure businessman he is moving around to run his various companies. Besides, Lagos being the former capital is a rallying point just a little below Abuja..
barcanista: Why are exOffice Holders from the SE retiring to Lagos State? Peter Obi Odumegwu Ojukwu Orji Kalu Chris Ngige etc
Unlike obj, Daniel and Osoba that remained in Ogun State. Sylva Alamesiegha, Spiff and co remained in their local towns in Bayelsa. Abiye Sekibo, Ada George, Odili and Omehia remained in their local towwns in Rivers State. Ibb retired to Minna, Buhari to Daura, Shonekan to Ogun. I am 500% sure that Jona will retire to Otuoke.
Wike must rule Rivers state not this time we am supposed to partake in Rivers oil money flow that some NANS will start protesting on behalf of their 'stomach infrastructure'..
Let us see who be that person that will stand on our way to the BRICKS HOUSE!
Imo state is a rural area compare to Anambra. Owerre is capital of prostitution so we do not want to be a prostitution infested state. That is the only thing you poor people has over us-prostitution..
vanbonattel: it will take anambra 100 yers to be like owerri
With the entire region coming to woo just one man, an ex governor for that matter that means there is something big down the tunnel..
aviazuvazia: A master stroke out of a master plan. Even Ojukwu would approve this defection.
What Ojukwu could not achieve thruogh NPN, Obi may achieve through PDP Let Obiano and Umeh continue to hold up APGA. Obi is like a royal son sent on a royal errend by a people in need of a saviour. Obi will be more effective at the national level than being a big fish in a small stream
Obiano is very focused, he is doing all that already. Having turned the entire state into a construction site and consolidating on what Obi had built. The task is much but with the speed with which he is going on his four pillars (Oil/Gas, Infrastructural development etc) it is a matter months or thereabout before Anambra becomes a Silicon Valley..
3dankey: Listen my brother, nobody is singing praises of anybody. The questions I asked above shows just that! you can respond even by criticizing the government(it is normal and will bring more development). One thing I do not like about my state and will love to see, is in terms of BEAUTIFICATION of streets, roads, round about and planting of trees and so many things. Listen what anambra just need now(because we have roads) is to change it's view from normal buying and selling to a place were investors/tourists can come and relax(no insult intended, let's just stick 2 the topic! That is how I see it). I want him to sign a contract with a foreign firm for the beautification of anambra(not just all this local workers),also the firm will be responsible for training our own workers on this.. The 2nd question above, I feel that the governor need to call a meeting with the great men of not just anambra, but IGBO's in general. Tell them his plans and how he need their help to achieve them. Also he need to find out from them their challenges and how government can be of help. Nuff said .
duni04: Lol wayo man. Nothing like that in this article. She simply never said so, u just manufactired it. Bros I'm sure you have your reasons for loving Peter Obi but he simply hasn't done anything to merit being President except for the fact that he's Ibo. We cannot afford another "Jonathan" at the helm of our affairs. Our next President must be someone i must at least be proud of watching on cnn, unlike now where i switch off my tv in shame whenever my President is on.
Listen to our next President come 2019. He is very sound and speaks very well not like an average Nigeria politician that shouts all over the place.
Note NOI made this statement when she was not a Nigerian minister but world bank MD. She could not have made such comment if she is not sure bearing in mind that she is the MD of the world bank. Now you know the fiber Obi is made of.
duni04: Please provide a link to the article where Iwela said Obi was the most fiscally responsible governor
Managing Director of World Bank, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has described Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State as the most fiscally responsible governor in Nigeria.
This feat, she said, had enabled Obi to use public fund for public good "which informs why there is need for Anambra people to rally round him so that the state can achieve its development objective".
