PoliticsRe: Jonathan Would Rig Election - Prophet Ayodele by onemopol: 12:50am On Oct 10, 2010
This "primate" should be locked up. He will see clearer visions in the confines of a cell. Is he not same prophet that predicted full recovery for UMYA?

Nobody has a right to say, the next elections will be rigged by the president. When SSS slap dis primate , he will confess who gave him money to prophesy this nonsense.

The bombing just happened 2 days ago. He said he already knew who they were the next day. Hows that possible? And now they happen to give non-ijaw(MEND) and non-northern(boko haram) but and Igbo and fake english name.Wow! GEJ better have the media tailored because it is going to be the cause of him losing SE votes and also othe southern votes as well.
Are you not being ST. U.PID for making a statement like this? You guys can go to hell with your useless SE votes which is fast turning a blackmail tool.

Your warrior Ikemba already promised the evil genius igbo votes anyway.

Ex-MEND “Generals” Disown Abuja Blast
Posted By admin On 02 Oct 2010.
Two ex-militants leaders who are members of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta(MEND), Chief Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) and “General” Ezekiel Akpesibewei of the Egbema based Deadly Underdogs have condemned the Abuja bomb blast which occurred during the celebration of Nigeria’s Independence
In a telephone interview, General Ezekiel expressed disappointment at the bombing saying it was uncalled for as all the militants have accepted the federal government amnesty programme.

An obviously unhappy Tompolo described the attack as barbaric, adding that it has nothing to do with the Niger Delta struggle.

The former MEND ‘General Officer Commanding’ (GOC), who spoke through his media aide, Comrade Paul Bebenimibo, said it was unfortunate that those responsible chose a day as significant as October 1 to carry out the attack.

He particularly lamented that the masterminds of the ‘dastardly attack’ did not consider the presence of world leaders on the scene of the celebration, adding that the incident was against the spirit of the Niger Delta struggle.
Hear him: “I want to condemn this in the strongest word possible; it is unfortunate and very barbaric and it is not part of the Niger Delta struggle. I call on security operatives to work assiduously to ensure that all the cuprits are arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.”

He noted that arresting and prosecuting the perpetrators would serve as a deterrent to others who may think of embarrassing the nation. He charged President Goodluck Jonathan to remain focused in spite of the unfortunate incident, adding that he must not allow himself to be distracted from the duty of taking the nation to a higher height.

In a similar statement, the Leader of the National Ijaw Observers Group, Mr. Austine Ozobo expressed disappointment at the bombing saying he did not believe that it was done by Niger Delta militants and suspected that it could be the handiwork of those opposed to Jonathan contesting 2011.

In his comment, the President, Niger Delta Youth Council, Mr. Godwin Ovuomaraini while condemning the Abuja blast in its entirety said the act was very ludicrous, barbaric and a rear show of insanity.”It is unpatriotic, regrettable and uncalled for especially at a time like this when Nigerians are supposed to be appreciation God for his mercies. We pray God should give the families the fortitude to bear the lost and wish those injured quick recovery and urged President Jonathan to ensure that the perpetrators were brought to book

PoliticsRe: Is There A Governor In Ogun State Check This Out by onemopol: 7:09pm On Sep 29, 2010
@OP

I can authoritatively tell you that when it rains well, there are roads   in fashola's elite state,  VI precisely where the flooding is even worse than the pictures above.

I dont like OGD i wish he can be kicked out too, even today. But u dont need to use pictures like this to paint him bad, he is already bad enough.

What connection has the happiness of IGBO traders on taiwo road with saraki's performance. Were the traders not happy under lawal? Abeg go rest. Besides to show how biased you are, GEJ was made acting presdient on 10 feb, you have calculated feb to sept to be 9 months. I pity.

I dont think it is time to even compare saraki with GEJ, afterall saraki has sworn to a consensus agreement, which we all know will be IBB. so save your energy , you will still need it later.

Do you know ILorin at all? Are you saying the Igbo boys on Taiwo road came during Bukola's regime? grin grin grin

On GEJ, does it occur to you that you are comparing an 8-year uninterrupted reign by saraki in kwara with a 1-year reign of GEJ in bayelsa? get real man.
PoliticsRe: Don’t Be Deceived By Jonathan’s Rented Crowd - Saraki by onemopol: 8:26pm On Sep 24, 2010
It's very simple and straight forward. Take a trip to Kwara state, Ilorin and environs and then take a trip to Bayelsa state (Yenagoa, Nembe etc) and then you'll have an answer to your question.
Talking about pedigree, how much of it does GEJ have? What are his past and present achievements in government? I'd love to read intellectual responses and not such thrash as: "No more fuel scarcity" or "GEJ met with Obama in a Nuke summit" 'cos those are not achievements by any standards.
Forget all this story, Ilorin has always been  one fairly clean, nice roads , peaceful city , even before Mohammed lawal became governor. so dont give saraki any unwarranted credit. yes I know he brought some sweepers to clean the capital, and brought some zimbabwean farmers, but just note that Ilorin has always been ok even before 1999. Ask any Unilorin student.

Now come to think of it ,is Ilorin the only place that need attention in kwara? The LGs outside ilorin are crying of marginalisation and illegal withdrawal of LG funds

jarus: If we can get Gani's Conscience Party and ANPP too, PDP will hear wien
Suddenly I am coming to realise why PDP will be in power for a long time. It is simply because these opposition parties look in the mirror and deny what they see or maybe they dont look in the mirror at all.

We should be talking about stronger alliances for petes sakes. Is AD really a political party? do they have any honourable at the federal house? Do we have any AD honourable in any of the state assemblies even in the SW ?

DPP? NCP? where will that get anyone serious about the presidential elections? besides what kind of alliance are we talking about? are they all coming under a single party name? why cant LP,ACN,APGA and ANPP merge to give PDP a fight, even though I see these polticians as almost same with their PDP counterparts.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Barred From Un Building by onemopol: 6:02pm On Sep 24, 2010
One other very important aspect of this OBJ  NY move is that ,before leaving the US. he and GEJ would have perfected their plans on how to shove IBB aside in the PDP primaries
PoliticsRe: Early Votes: Jonathan Or Ribadu (Poll) by onemopol: 6:42pm On Sep 21, 2010
^^^^^^^^^^^^

No you are wrong. I am talking about party structure and finance which is very key in this kind of election. In about 2/3 of the federation AC is simply non-existent. So how will an ACN candidate sustain the necessary campaing and follow up in such states. Anyone seeing the present struggle for PDP ticket as a struggle to hijack the PDP rigging machinery is simply overlooking other obvious facts. PDP is the only national party at the moment. ANPP is purely a northern party, ACN is SW, and APGA is SE. what is left?
PoliticsRe: Early Votes: Jonathan Or Ribadu (Poll) by onemopol: 6:29pm On Sep 21, 2010
It is only e-voters like NLers that will compare ribadu's prospect of winning to GEJ'S. in the end , even if you double ribadu's votes, it will not come near GEJ'S.

"It was also in conformity with the avowed commitment of the administration to advance the cause of national unity, stability, and democracy. In annulling the presidential election, this administration was keenly aware of its promise in November 1992 that it would disengage and institute a return to democracy on August 27, 1993. We are determined to keep the promise.

In a 2008 Interview, IBB Said: “…you don’t expect me to (run for president), at age 70, come to you and beg you to vote for me. I think the older one gets the more you think about a lot of things. For me, it is not a do-or-die affair.”
