Please I will like to know the mode of communication between you and Fiverr admin as a top seller?

Why I'm asking is because I'm scared. In no distant time, I will be reaching $20,000 mark which will automatically get me to top seller level since I already met other requirements. However, my fear is that I'm using my ex girlfriend's picture while answering a female name, although it's a Nigerian account.

This is an account I opened years ago, and the information I got then was that female profiles sales more (if I had known, I would have used my real identity). Now, I'm no longer with the girl since I got married. In a nutshell, I just want to know how I can avert possible direct communication with Fiverr admin.

Thanks in anticipation of your reply.

Unfortunately I don't have any advise to give because if you create another account, when you start gain traction Fiverr might ban your account.

To your question. We communicate via email and Skype. Alot of Skype video calls.

It is recommended to get the fiverr app if you want to get more sales. A buyer will readily liaise with someone online than someone not available.

Also, get ready to lose some sleep.

Facts, especially when your target buyers are from Eastern or Central Time.

You can close a deal within 5 - 10 minutes of messaging.

But Fiverr has creative writing as a separate niche. So I basically offer 4 different gigs under 4 different sub categories.

I don't see how that's a duplicate if they are created under different sub-sections.

I see what you are saying, there is a very thin line I guess to differentiate them and the team vetting your gigs are probably not very knowledgeable about the differences.

I always thought copywriting and creative writing were very similar but if they have created subcategories for them, then they have no excuses. It is on them.
Business / Re: EXCLUSIVE : How To Make Level 2 Seller On Fiverr In A Month As A Nigerian Seller by OneNaijaMan: 3:26pm On Feb 24, 2020
I see,

Ok let's break down the gigs into basic categories

1. Article/Blog writing
2. Copywriting
3. Proofreading
4. ?? Where does creative and content writing fall? I guess that is copywriting too.

joey150:

Copywriting is different from other forms of writing. So it commands a higher pricing.

Hello house which will you recommend I have any issue at hand right now and I need advice

1. have a level 2 account that was deported in 2017 with about 2 bad reviews.

2. I just opened another Nigeria account no sales yet.

Which would you prefer I continue with??

Use your level 2 account. Much better.

I hope you also know Fiverr will delete both accounts when they find out it came from the same person?

Sure.

Have a look Fiverr.com/dannydrews

Please mention me once you've got it.

Thanks for sending the profile. I just had a look. I also think your gigs are duplicated. You have the same gig but in various verbiage. Also, the pricing is confusing because when you open one gig, you are offering $15 for 500 words. Another gig says $15 for 200 words. I think you need to restructure them to have a chance at the TRS level.

Hi,

I have made the cut for a TRS for more than 3 months now, but for some weird reason, Fiverr has refused to make me a TRS.

They gave me a flimsy reason about not pricing my gigs properly (even though it's averagely proved amongst my closet competitors) and having duplicate gigs, which I don't have. As all my gigs are in different sub-categories.

Do you please have any idea why? Is there anything special you did to become a TRS?

Getting all the metrics right won't automatically make you a TRS.

However, for me to say anything, I will have to have a look at your profile. Then I will have an educated answer

I decided to check on this thread after a while. I started off on Fiverr in 2016 by just reading this thread and I must admit that it is the best decision of my life.

I have maintained level 2 for more than 180 days, have few dollars (less than $1000) to meet the requirements of becoming a top rated seller, until some spammers invaded Fiverr, sending random messages of tools that can help me render my service.

It got to a point I started cursing them out of anger (Fiverr later warned me).

Due to the fact that Fiverr automatically blocks their messages and mark it as spam, I do not get to see them or could not reply them because the users have been deactivated.

Fiverr will write that it will not affect my response rate but that's not true as my response rate keeps dropping even as I respond quickly to other legit messages as they come (I have one hour response time).

Right now, I have been demoted to level 1 and the response rate isn't improving at all rather it keeps decreasing.

If it doesn't increase, I am getting demoted again next month for offense I didn't commit. My average rating is 5.0 from seller dashboard and 4.8 from buyer view.

I don't know if I should contact Fiverr support with this issue.

Please, do you think they can help?

I am always afraid to contact those guys because in some cases, they will be looking for what did not lose

Sorry for your experience.

I'm a TRS so you can imagine the amount of spam I receive daily.

When you receive any message, and Fiverr marks it spam. Access your inbox via a desktop and unmark as spam. Then send hi, or have a saved response for people like that.

Also, never fight. The messages have been programmed to raise red flags when there are certain types of languages spoken.

A Fiverr warning is bad for your account.

There is no shortcut to raising your response rate that I know of other than replying ASAP.

I hope you rise again. Good luck

Buyer request will do you more good than reviews. 1, 2, or 3 reviews don't guarantee sales. I do create new gigs and use my existing buyers through custom offer (since I have already known them and what to expect) to get reviews on those gigs but they still don't rank even after getting 2-3 reviews.

Can 1 to 3 reviews push down a gig with 300 reviews? Even if a gig with 300 reviews has 4.7 ratings, it is still desirable to buyers than a gig with 5.0 rating with just 3 reviews and so is the ranking.

Advice to new sellers is to focus on getting the job through buyers request. Ability to know how to use buyers request is a skill on its own.

I remember getting all my sales on Fiverr from buyers request for months if not years of being on the platform.

It took time before my gigs started ranking on the first page and so is even Google ranking. The older the wine, the sweeter.

I was about to reply to the message but I saw this reply.

You have said it all. Buyer's request is a newbie's treasure. Most of the people that apply there are just copying and pasting canned responses. There is a way to efficiently get projects there. However, that's another topic for another time.

Buying reviews is bad advice. Period. I'm not trying to knock anyone's hustle but be careful what you buy on these forums.

Most people selling them haven't smelt success on Fiverr.

Greetings bro. To get to level one on transcription I maximised one customer that came my way. She always came back. And I can say if not for her, I won't be in level one. Although, others came but customers did not flood in. Ranking is one area I'm lacking.
I just opened a wordpress gig now, I believe if I'm ranked higher sales will troop in. What are your contributions to this?

Usually, when sales plummet, the most important people will be your return buyers, that;s why you need to build good relationships and ALWAYS underpromise and Over deliver. It makes people happy to receive their order a day early or days early.

Sometimes you get a false sense of good ranking when you are receiving many orders from repeat clients and you forget to optimise your gigs for the algorithm. Always try and tweak your gig regularly.

Transcription and Wordpress are separate worlds apart. Try and keep your gigs related.

Lastly, I will say, sometimes the levels do not matter in getting alot of sales. Fiverr goes through gig deliveries and also the private feedback they receive from clients and they sometimes boost some gigs. You might see something like - "Rising Talent". That usually helps, so make sure you go back to my first advise, Over deliver!

The only difference in my level 2 and TRS is getting money within 1 week. The orders income is a bit similar, maybe a bit high on TRS because I raised my prices but almost the same amount of orders.

I know demoted sellers that still have so much in their queue. They get demoted because their gigs get late, but people still flood their gig.

A custom offer is what the name is. An offer you quote a buyer in your inbox so the buyer can order directly.

This is usually done when the buyer has a unique request or is just lazy to use your gig page. I have to say, it is very effective in closing sales.

Yes, you can work on many jobs at a time on a gig. There are times you have as many as 30 jobs on the queue on one gig

Changing your prices will not really help. Fiverr works on algorithms and to get more impressions, you will need to work more on keyword, descriptions and maybe your pricing structure. Also, try to change gig images.

Try and increase your prices gradually, As long as you know you are worth a price, you should stick to it and change other things. Your gig needs to be seen for people to even know if your price is high or low which is why pricing should always be the last resort

ranson:

What can you say about pricing?

I'm asking this question because there was a time I lower my price to entice customers, only to discover during chats that some are willing to pay even more.

Just to clear the air once again. I am not selling any ebooks and I truly don't have the time to coach anyone 1 on 1. I am doing this out of my free will. I don't need the money. I will be as open as I can be and will answer as many questions as I can and check as many gigs as I can.

I see a lot of Nigerians are misled by many misinformation on this forum.

When you get to a certain level in Fiverr, they will give you a manager that you can discuss with that works IN Fiverr to manage your account. More like VIP. When you get to that stage, you will understand that being real and skilful are the only things that can help.

Fiverr also wants to make more money, so they get into calls occasionally with me on what I can do and how they can help.

I started from $5 gigs too. I can't really share what I have earned AND no one will believe. It is mind blowing. Don't think of the short term. Take it like you will make millions one day. Make your gigs as professional as possible. Every single detail matters. There are so many gigs on Fiverr and it is difficult to stay above the competition. Trust me.

What skills do you have?

On Fiverr, if you really want to make it big, you need to have a very good and marketable skill. You might earn a little at first with all those mediocre gigs. But if you want to compete with the Pros, you need to be well grounded. You will be exposed when bigger clients start showing up.

So you are a male? Why did you create as a female?

Who says you need to buy reviews?

It is not about the niches that sell, it is about your talent/ability. In the long run, this will matter a lot.

After so many years, many people are still gullible and think buying reviews, changing gender and changing their country is the best way forward.

No doubt you will earn a little money, but you can't make a fortune.

Many of these people that buy reviews contact me on Fiverr for help because they have hit a sales slump.

Do you think buyers can't spot a fake review or through verbiage, cant spot your country or your skills? Most people buying entry level gigs are cheapskates and will make sure they get value for their $5

There are better strategies and NO, i'm not selling a course or collecting money from anyone, but stop buying all these. Fiverr can make you a fortune if you dig deep.

Good evening gurus in the house. I've gone through the first few pages of the thread and I can say I have learnt quite some things. Seen that it's been long this thread was created, is the information on it still applicable to success in fiverr in 2020?

I created a Nigerian fiverr account as a female in September 2019. I abandoned it shortly after that because I couldn't get anyone to put me through in the business.
I would be happy if anyone could help check it (my username is africanwizard) out and point out corrections.

Since the account is created as a female, will I have problem when it comes to verification?

I read I need to buy reviews in order to get orders as a beginner. How do I know trusted people to buy reviews from?

How do I know the trending niches that sells well on fiverr?

Is there any video course or YouTube video you'd recommend that will help me greatly?

Aside the skill, what are those things a beginner must have before venturing into fiverr?

I read Payoneer is the medium for payment. How do I create one successfully?

Also, since fiverr is highly lucrative, why are people selling accounts that have ranked higher which could possibly give them a good income if they keep it? Am I missing something?

Abeg make una no vex say I too dey ask questions o. I go hapi if anybody fit sacrifice small time take answer me.

Not advisable to create a new account.

Also, are you very good with the graphics? If yes, then proceed.

FLwriter:
I am offering a writing gig and I want to diversify my portfolio. In other words, I want to delve into graphics designing, which is not related to the current gig that I'm offering. I do not know if this is a good move.

Will it in any way affect my ratings or hinder me from getting jobs like I would if I had created a separate account for it?

Should I create a new account where I will offer a graphics design gig?

If you provide video service, that will be awesome. Video and voiceover are awesome together.

You can still combine Graphics and Voiceover but it is usually better to specialize in one thing and be very very good at it.

If you decide to go for voiceover, advertise yourself as an African VO artist. There are buyers with this need but they are not that many. In my opinion, focus on graphics and be a wiz at it. Make multiple graphic gigs and make your gig images as good as possible.

WILLuKPquiet:

Bro.
I have a skill of Graphics and voice over can one combine two or three skills together on one Account.

And do you think there is prospect in voice over as a Nigerian when English is not our mother tongue.

I've been on Fiverr since 2014 and I can assure you that the sales have not gone down, tables have only turned. They usually change alot of things and you have to try and ensure your gig is always on their radar.

They keep trying to ensure quality gigs are offered to their buyers so they push any slacking gig to the back. I am a TRS and I still experience plummeting sales sometimes, but I use that time to restructure my gigs, change keywords, make descriptions better, etc

Just keep reinventing the wheel, don't just sit and expect work to come to you. Make your move, check your competitors.

From experience, which Insurance company is the best for comprehensive insurance and which company offers the most affordable and reliable car tracking services.

Lastly, what is the usual agreement on the car's maintenance in general? Who is responsible for what. I will appreciate it if I can get some guidance and direction.

Gig images for the logo and brand identity are not attractive. It is great you are using a video but the frame for the thumbnail should have logos and the video needs to look far better than this.

Also, why not make the logo gig 1 logo for $5 or $10

3 logos is basically selling yourself cheap and making your service look inferior.

The sample book cover is not bad but make it clearer. Choose a more trendy and eye-catching one.

I have to say your username sounds good! But you didn't brand any of your images.

Try and make a logo and give yourself a professional look by branding all your chosen images.

I checked your tags and I saw you misspelt some words like Professional was spelt as proffesional

Kindly do this for a start.

Hi Gurus...My average response time dropped/increased from one hour to five hours yesterday cos I wasnt priviledged to reply a client quickly..would this have negative effects on my profile?

If yes, how do I fix this

You have to reply to new messages as fast as you can. This is the only way. Install the APP on your phone. It does have an effect indirectly, clients that are in a rush will not want to order because they will think you won't reply their message fast enough.

5hours is not that bad. It is easy to come back from.

Use a Nigerian account if you are in Nigeria. In the long run, you will gain integrity.

I can easily spot a Nigerian by the way he writes me via the inbox. I lose my trust immediately.

I am a Nigerian and a TRS and I can assure you that, nobody cares. People will pay thousands of dollars without thinking twice when they see the value you provide.

- You have to reword it. Remove things like "I have special interest in", "You've found me, I will do anything you want". You have to show some level of confidence in your skill and why anyone should work with you.

-----------------

- Your average response time is very very poor. That will put people off when they feel you are not available. A lot of people want that jobs quickly and if they feel they cannot talk to you quickly, then it is a problem especially when it is a profile that doesn't have any review.

- Your gig images are not trendy nor bold. Your gig will be shown along with loads of other gigs. You need to prove you are really a professional graphic designer by designing banners gig images that catch the eye. For example, I can't see if you can really make facebook banner ads because there are so many in a single image.

- Also, try and use shorter gig titles and be more creative.

- Fill up your skills section

Gig images

Both gigs have a very poor first impression. For the logo gig, try and put about 7 logos you have created (Make sure they are your best) and some words to support.

The flyer gig image is not attractive. You need to make it trendy, use bright colors and images.

This is the first impression and it needs to be well executed.

Gig description, what is your unique offering?

You are in a crowded market and you need to prove your worth.
