Very real, I get invites and opportunities ALL THE TIME. Still did an Interview last Friday.

The question you should ask is do I have a compelling CV. Am I applying for the right jobs. What kind of filter's used on the site. Etc. There are other variables.

If you keep applying for jobs you are not qualified for, you may never get that call. Do you use cover letters.

Bro jobberman works o...lol..very well..I know

Is Mark Zuckerberg an employee?

If we love our culture, let's abolish white wedding first .. You'll still see the ministers' children being joined in holy matrimony while on suits.

Go to any bank on Monday and notice their unique way of dressing.
Oga there is Nothing unique about suit and tie, matter of fact it's very uncreative. Let me show you unique.

That was OBJ and Jimmy Carter.

Oga, suits are sown in ABA! Secondly, we must not put on a suit to be corporate.

The way it is going, I may need to remind us that we even import healthcare while we have hospitals. Why don't we wear natives from Monday thru Friday?
Suits are made in Turkey , China, US, UK etc too. But buba and sokoto is made here. The tailor makes it here and earns income from it here. What is the meaning of "official". Official is whatever you call it
Its the definition you give it.

We don't wear natives from Mondays to Fridays because we have not agreed to do so and that is what the government has just started to see and do. It's not because it's not "official"

All in the name of promoting culture. Monday of all days
There's nothing wrong in wearing native on mondays. It's not promoting culture, it being wise. Does Mark Zuckerberg wear suits on mondays.

Must you wear suit. Does it make you more or less productive.

I dont see any big deal in it. I work in a company thats among the first 3 in its sector in the country and the dress code allows traditional anyday of the week(from monday to friday). Most people wear senators or buba/ sokoto with cap as its more convenient than suit and tie.
Some visitors are suprised when they see us on a monday morning in looking good in traditional but they eventually says its looks good. We just need to have a paradigm shift and it will look normal.
Tell them ooo

Do we also know that native wears are mostly complemented with *palm slippers and sandals ..

How do you wear *slippers on a Monday morninghuh
Bros have you been to the UAE? We have a serious cultural erosion problem. Why should we use scarce forex to buy suit, wear it inside hot sun, when we can wear what we have . Do you know how many tailors will become very ok. Have you calculated how much Nigerians spend on these TM Lewin etc.

After we would be blaming our leaders for importing PMS when we produce crudeoil.

Besides, which is more comfortable to wear. Ask yourself

We can as well wear native from Monday thru Friday .. Monday is not a day like Friday because most organizations already adopted casual dressings and native wears on friday.

Monday is pure official and even the president should be made to wear suit on Mondays.
How can you tell the president of Nigeria to wear suit and what makes suit official. You better go and learn fashion designing. You tailor will buy that house near you very soon. Very great policy. That's how to create jobs.

CareerRe: He Was Too Loyal That Made Him So Stupid To The Boss, See Where It Landed Him by Oneprodigy(m): 9:22pm On Mar 13, 2017
I have always made it a personal rule not to over familiarize my self with my bosses. No eye service, no ass licking, no gossiping with oga.
I see a lot of folks at work do it. It 's a two edged sword. You get the perks and also the BS.
I started a job sometime ago. I already heard people don't leave before MD. The day I resumed, immediately it was closing time, I picked up my bag, walked past him and said Goodnight sir with a big smile. 1st day at work. I was making a statement and it remained that way. Any time he needs me to do stuff beyond closing time, he apologises for holding me while others don't dare go.

I think the way you see, present and carry yourself is the way people will relate with you.
DON'T EVER DEMEAN YOURSELF , PEOPLE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.

Gflat:
Actually this is the right thing to do... No parent want their daughters to suffer from the hands of a broke boy. Let me share my thoughts in this.

Let's take this from the religious community: A woman is mostly believed to be soft hearted, an item of delicacy and someone you care for (Men are designed to care for women that is why they are referred to as the HEAD)

Enough of the sideway talks. Let's accelerate the hammer towards the nail.

Ladies make sure you have nothing to do with broke boys. As accurate as this sounds many girls will still try to be Sentimental about the golden fact. Broke boys have nothing to offer.

Ok let me give you a quick scenario.

Yester-evening I was at a restaurant on the island just to relax and get a bit of serenity. While I was chilling with what I had requested for earlier, I noticed a couple sitting opposite my table.
I could feel the love from her heart and the optimism for a better future for both of them but what Spoilt the picture was Their table has all sort of similarities to the Sahara desert.

It is so embarrassing to say as beautiful as the lady looked he couldn't make her feel good on a date and later on he got her a chicken pie and ice cream. I felt disgusted at the sight of this! undecided

Ok, having mentioned that, I want to inform you ladies about a Proven point.

No guy will choose you over a richer lady.

This might seem funny to you but that is the truth. That guy that keeps reminding you how much he loves and adores you?
That guy who wouldn't stop sending you good morning/good night messages?
That guy that sounds romantic and sweeps you off your feet?
He will desert you at the twinkle of an eye immediately he Uncovers a rich lady.

So tell me ladies, why are you forcing this to work with him?
Why are you suffering when someone who isn't looking half as good as you are is being treated like a real woman?
Why trek under the hot sun then later jump into a hot distressful danfo bus while your mates are sitting with their man in his latest Ac filled cool machine?

It is no news that Women are emotional beings but being emotional shouldn't equals stupidity. If you don't care about your future at least care about the future of your kids and their upbringing.

PS: Don't quote me to spill your conundrum. I don't reply idiots

This happened to me, only that there were other very funny questions I was being asked. It wasn't even a formal introduction, I just attended a programme they organized and met the dad and then the interview began. Uncontrolled without tact. That was the last day I saw the parents.

It doesn't end well. The girl looses out at the end. We met like a year after and I was married and doing very very well.

Part of the questions was are you going to get married within the next one year to which I answered by God's grace and God actually made it happen.

You are wrong sir. If there is an agreement in writting between you and I regarding a certain way of doing things and you alter it without my consent, as long as it doesn't contravene the laws of the FRN. You just commited forgery.

Its a crime in Nigeria. Plus you dont have immunity.

Let me put in another way. Say we agree in the house to commit murder. Are we to say because its been agreed to by all, it becomes lawful and therefore not a crime?

Saraki, ekwere or d clerk or all of them will fo down for this. They have been caught red handed and they know this. Thats why saraki said he is ready to go to jail and ekwere who himself is a lawyer has started to wail internationally.

PoliticsRe: Who Can Defeat Buhari In 2019? by Oneprodigy(m): 8:04pm On May 22, 2016
Kennydoc:
Please take note of these facts:

Buhari won the last election with only 2.7 million votes.

Jonathan lost a lot of votes from the SE (in 2015 relative to 2011) because of low voters' registration, and poor voters' turn out on election day. I'm not saying he would have won if the turn out in the SE was maximal.
Also, hope you remember that it took Ọhaneze a lot of time to adopt Jonathan. They agreed he failed Igbos, but only adopted him finally because Buhari was a worse option for Igbos.

Four of the North Central states voted for Buhari in 2015, compared to 2011 when they all voted for Jonathan. Buhari won with a greater margin in the NC than in the SW because his margin of win in the SW which was approximately 612k is less than the 678k with which he won in only Niger and Kwara combined.

Finally, South west only gave Buhari about 57% of their votes (2.4 million votes) while Jonathan had 43% (1.8 million). The total SW votes for Buhari is just a little more than the votes Kano alone gave him.
I pointed this out for you and others to stop bragging how SW will always determine the swing of election results. Even if you guys had given Jonathan an additional 1 million vote, altogether making it 2.8 million votes (ie 67% of your total votes), Buhari would have still won. It's to let you know how not-too-significant the SW contribution to Buhari's victory was.
Not forgetting to add that GEJ was incumbent. He had all the resources of state. All he could manage was a loss.

The yorubas are the most educated tribe. They always play the game of politics well and when it favors them, people I'll start calling them saboteurs. Now for buhari to be defeated, the opposition needs to file out ribadu. He is a progressive who I'll mk sure money were spent for wat they were meant for. He is educated and can command votes from few northern States, enlightened yorubas and ss and se. But the opposition will not hear. They I'll say he is a child n I'll bring people ladened with corruption to contest thinking Nigerians still think like in d past.
People have not realized that the dynamics have changed. Where will you get the money to rig elections come 2019. By 2019, baba would have finished blocking everywhere. He gonna spend the 8 years finish. By the time he is done pple will even ask for another term. The budget would be fully implemented. At least 80 percent year in year out.

The change would be soo clear even the blind would see it.

Book this space. As for opposition.maybe Kowa or some party that hasnt been created for now. PDPhuh Forget it.

The recent attempted NLC strike is an indication.it didnt even see the light of day. That is for pms at 145 o..now lets implement d budget.

Once again, Here lies the problem: the celebration and jubilation of Yoruba folks within the last couple of days when it comes to activities that counter the agitation of Biafra has vindicated me and so many other Igbos. " they don't want Igbos to leave and they also don't want Igbos to stay. They are both scared of a free Biafran nation and also scared of a prolonged Igbo stay in Nigeria. That's why you see some of them say "I support Biafra on one thread but in another thread celebrate any killings or arrests that interrupts the movement.

Yorubas make up your mind. Do you want Igbos in Nigeria or do you want them to go?
Bro we think rationally and independently. reason why you have different opinions on different threads from the youruba peeps. We don't vote or act as a tribe.

Reminds me of a certain set of people that insisted on prolonging the culture of inpunity and recklessness against all indications of common sense all because of tribal affiliations
