if the said age(wrong age) doesn't process exemption letter for you, don't bother yourself.. I'm a serving corp member and the wrong dob was uploaded for me but it didn't stop me from serving. tried changing it severally with weac pin but to no avail.. it doesn't matter

You will get to know after submission which is very risky 'cos one will find it hard to rectify afterwards.

Of course, there is still hope for a lot of applicants long as they scored up to 40% and above in the EPT and their departments/faculties will conduct another test. The University's general cut-off mark in the EPT was put at 40% in order to guarantee that many applicants move or QUALIFY to the next stage - Departmental Test. Although 40% in a scale of 100 marks is a poor score in virtually all examinations but it has been considered by the University for the sake of giving almost every applicant a fair chance.

The only stress or worry one should have is how to do BETTER in the next stage. Do not be surprised that many applicants that supposedly scored very high in the EPT may not do well in the next stage (i.e. Departmental Test). Mastering good English or being proficient in it does not necessarily mean one is brilliant academically. So, I urge everyone particularly those that scored low marks to go back and dust their textbooks from level 100 to final year and start reading because it is not really going to be easy at all!

Only science oriented faculities do written test after EPT while others do ORAL test. (I confirmed that from a Senior Staff after my test) Some depts have done theirs,like social work and it was just normal interview to know the students they will be meeting in class. There are still semester exams and projects to face so,don't make it look as UI is full and they are seeking ways to shed candidates.

In my dept,ladies were warned on their dressing while some guys with bad haircut were also given stern warning. If you have scaled the 40 pass mark,I can assure you of 90% chance of gaining admission.

I vowed before marriage to love my wife and kids with all my life. I lost my dad when I was 8 year so I thought within myself that my kids must enjoy my presence God willing. Now l'm married with two wonderful kids and an angel for wife. But I made a mistake a fool should not even make. After marriage and first issue, expenses doubled, peanut from my place of work, vaporizes once it gets home. I returned to the banks. This time to set up my wife so that money can come from two end.

In the new house, after a week, I dreamt that we packed out in a haste. The dream scared me, I thougt of living the house after six month. We needed to pay shop rent, we went to another micro finance bank. After paying rent, the money remaining was not enough to get goods into the shop and put it in order. But we started gradually, suddenly I lost my job due to recession.

We were only paid our salary after IOU deduction. I earn 40k. By this time our second child had already came in through CS, that too helped gulp much from the biz money. After losing my job, I thought of joining my wife in the biz and changing the type of biz was necessary cos of high cost of lady slippers from China, Ghana and Cotonou.
We started drinks business with a fresh loan. Loans from other banks are yet to elaspe. We were paying three banks from the biz. Now the biz is down. Micro Banks are on us. My eyes got cleared like was I charmed? What was I doing?

I dont have any biz again. Wife and children are now squatting with an Aunty. I myself half normal half crazy. I chained myself. Now I dream of helpers to get me out everday. I had slept in police cell courtesy second bank's guarantor.

Suicide?hmmm,the last hope of a coward. If you do that,what abt your lovely kids,wife and guarantors? They will still pay the debt so,why doing what will not actually cancel the debt but put more pressure on your family. Be bold bro.

In situation like this,kneel down,call your kids and wife to pray for you that God you make a way and send your angel to let this passover as soon as possible.

I don't know about others who claim they had up to twenty (20) Comprehension passages in their English Proficiency Test yesterday and Thursday, but my English test today at the DLC, UniBadan did not contain even up to six (6) Comprehension passages, likewise with those that took the test yesterday. There were just four (4) Comprehension passages with one question from each, then the passages are repeated but with a different question for each as you proceed to the next question.

In other words, the Comprehension passages are THE SAME all through - they are only REPEATED, therefore if one is able to FASTLY read accurately and UNDERSTAND each passage within 2-3 minutes one is expected or should be able to answer the rest questions (whether they are 25 or 50 in number) within 25 seconds or 1 minute maximum. To make it clearer: they do not expect one to read ALL through the passages again in subsequent questions since one might have understood what it is all about, rather they want you to just glance at a line or two (especially in the middle/bottom of a Comprehension passage) and pick the answer from it.

Someone on the other UI Postgraduate thread said the many Comprehension passages is to see if one could make wise decision in any circumstance. No, it is all about reading FAST and UNDERSTANDING, not really making a "wise decision" in any circumstance. If you do not UNDERSTAND after fastly reading the passages you can't make any wise decision because any (wise) decision taken might still lead to a failure! Anyway, I wish everyone the best.

Why? Have you seen your result? NO,they don't . Social work have seen theirs because of the oral test.

@Op, I had an accident in 2006 while studing Law in Ekiti which resulted in SCI (Spinal Cord Injury) at T6 -L1 which is,paraplegia and since then,have being making use of wheelchair for my daily chores. It took me 6yrs to get back to schl, new one though, because my former schl was not wheelchair accessible so,I had to change to a related course,International Relations. Today,I'm about completing my youth service. I said all these to let you understand what persons with disabiltiy face in Nigeria.

The question is,how did I get the funds,how did I manage myself in the terrain I found myself and where did I get that " I can do it spirit".?
