To be on the safest side,having the the same surname with your sponsor backed with a letter is still the best to avoid stories.

I think the clearance is meant for batch A corpers cos it was a batch A corper dat sent d message to my sch group chat.... I don't really no wen stream 1 will do their clearance but I only sent dat msg in respect of stream 2 corpers because nysc official are said to b in camp by 9th meaning their is still possibility of going to camp by Jan.
so dear as for ur clearance I can't really say but u can ask others in stream 1.to b sure.

We were told the hols we are going is just a priviledge and not our right hence the letter we submitted at our LG. Don't forget we stated a date to be at our duty post so,even if the post is not from the right source we already know the truth.

It was even hammered that corpers cannot travel without proper documentation and approval. We travelled under the guise of Christmas and New year hols.

Do you know few of us were not granted permission to travel due to availability of work in their ppa and some had to beg before they could be released.? In my ppa,I have jobs waiting for me on my table. My Oga was even saying she must approve the letter before I can travel but later allowed on personal grounds.

FF is not that far(atleast to me o)but you can find a good self con around the palmgroove area(very close to ACE) for like 70-80k a year.

Till Batch A 2017 because she needs to remobilise. She will register afresh and choose new states and posted to any of the new states chosen.

pls what of those that have health issues and where participating in the drills and man o war activities is detrimental to their health pls carefully explain what should be done thanks.

If your health issue is not obvious like crutches,wheelchair etc make sure you present your paper at the camp clinic where the matron or doctor will issue another paper which soldiers and other officials acknowledge. With that,you're exempted from all strenuous camp activities

No. Not all first class graduates are posted to tertiary institutions. I saw more than 5 people in that category that got secondary schools but you can complain, it may be reversed because a lady did that in my camp and she was reposted while others were not too lucky.

My camp is boring even with cash. The terrain is not friendly,the soldiers are making life too hard and the food sef na war. As yorme rightly said,if you want to enjoy camp very well,hold like 50k.

Pls,let us talk whenever we have health issues. Let us confide in someone we know especially during our 1yr service to our fatherland.

A guy who is diabetic in my camp and make use of insulin by himself in the dom. He exhausted the insulin and was lying sick on his bed. Thank God for the eagle eye of his platoon officer who decided to take a roll call during their football match. The guy wasn't there,they later checked his dom because he was the active type in camp just to see he was wailing in pains. He was rushed to the clinic asap. When he got to the clinic,his sugar level was above 400.

Just imagine, there was no match or the platoon officer did not take roll call as promised. The guy would pass and we start blaming Nysc for poor health care as if we also make our health paramount. Nysc clinic may not have the required drugs @ least they will refer the patient to another medical facility.

Don't die for Nigeria,its not worth dying for.
