I watched the ex Capitol Police Chief said he requested for backup, in an interview. He was told by Piglosi's team that backup will not "paint the right optics". These were the words of the man in TV interview that I watched. Not some cooked up bullshit.

I have watched, read and "heard" many talks about Piglosi's J6 "Team" - and the RINOs among them (warmonger Liz Cheney and Cryin' Kizinger). I am fully convinced that the team basically put stuff out that suit their narrative. It was all a pack of carefully scripted lies, woven to deceive the gullible and uninformed. Why didn't Piglosi allow Jim Banks and others nominated by McCarthy to the team? Simple: To prevent the truth from ever seeing the light of the day. She hates opposing views to hers.

Piglosi will go down as one of the most ruthless, divisive, selfish and dangerous Speaker in US history!

There was a plan to overtake and hold hostage Congress drawn up complete with a weapons cache stored at a local hotel if they needed them. Hence the conviction. Yes, the plan wasn't wasn't up to snuff, but a lot of what didn't happened were thanks to those police who were in hand to hand combat with people at the doors, which gave the Congress just enough time to evacuate. Imagine what could have happened if they had caught Pelosi or some other congressperson.

I watched it live and was in shock, shock at how any of it was possible and why there was no backup coming. And months later, the one thing that reminded how crazy that day was the texts of the Secret Service agents protecting Pence, who have an understanding they may aways die in duty. They had text their family (wives. etc) goodbyes, because they thought/were in fear they may die that day. It's reprehensible for Tucker Carlson to spin it they way he did.

I want to agree with you that we should double check information before coming to post stuff. Lol I haven't personally used Facebook in any serious manner since at least 2015 and very few people in my age group do but it’s still a very important voter mobilization tool for a politician, especially a conservative politician like Trump who has a large base of older voters. (Facebook is still very popular among senior citizens) so I’m glad he’s back. In fact that’s probably the reason Meta reinstated him. He is a leading presidential candidate now so if they didn’t reinstate him and his opponents where on the platform, that would be unfair and may even be considered an in-kind contribution to his opponents campaign.

I think it's also worth remembering when this happened -- when this move to take President Trump off of these platforms happened -- it was so bad that it alarmed people who don't even have the protections of our First Amendment. Angela Merkel was appalled. Various other European leaders were terrified about what was happening with how much control these Big Tech companies have over -- if you can do this to the sitting president of the United States, this makes you more powerful than most governments.

for your information i don't live in Lagos, and will never wish to live in Lagos. I just have sympathy for those living there cos the place is so jam packed, such that life will always be difficult for you there irrespective of how much earn for a living. You should see opportunities in current state of Lagos - as per the dense population. That's a huge catalyst for expansion and growth. Epe that was a village a few years ago is set to witness massive infrastructure development that will transform the LGA to a mega money spinner for Lagos and Nigeria.
