RomanceMarriage, Trust, And Betrayal by Onojasteve(op): 1:07am On Dec 06, 2025
Daniel believed marriage was a place of safety where two people cover each other, protect each other, and build their own little world. But his reality was the opposite.
From the beginning, he trusted his wife completely. He opened up his life to her his dreams, his fears, his financial struggles, even the things he didn’t tell anyone else. He told her about the bank loans. He gave her his ATM card freely. He shared how much he earned, how much he saved, and how much he spent. He confided in her about his stress at work, the issues with his staff, and challenges with clients. He let her into every corner of his life because he believed that’s what love meant.

But he never imagined that everything he shared in confidence would be repeated to her sisters word-for-word. Her sisters knew the time he left the house and the time he returned. They knew how much he provided for feeding. They knew conversations he had on the phone. They knew every disagreement. They even knew private details of how he managed his business. Nothing stayed between husband and wife nothing.

And because her sisters did not like him, they twisted his actions and labeled him: “gold digger,” “irresponsible,” “dishonest,” “unfaithful because he’s a photographer,” “bad husband,” and “manipulator.”

Meanwhile, his wife hid her own flaws her anger issues, her frequent nagging, her disrespectful words, calling him “shameless,” accusing him of cheating with no evidence, and pretending to be innocent whenever she ran to her sisters. Every time they fought, she reported him. Every time they argued, she played the victim. Everything that was supposed to stay inside their home became gossip.

Daniel found himself living in a marriage with three wives his wife and her two sisters. When the situation finally became unbearable, the parents intervened. The sisters insulted him publicly, warned him, and even threatened to take her back home if she ever complained again.

Yet the person he married the woman he still loves now says she has changed and wants a new beginning. Daniel is willing to forgive. He is willing to try again. He wants peace. But there is a fear inside him that he cannot shake.
What if she hasn’t changed at all?
What if she continues to report everything to her sisters?
What if the manipulation and betrayal continue? What if trusting her again destroys him emotionally?

He looks at her and wonders:
If she truly loved me, would she expose me like that? Would she put her sisters above our marriage? Would she allow me to be insulted, mocked, and disrespected because of her words?

Now he stands at a crossroads, loving his wife, yet afraid of his wife’s loyalty to others. Was the man wrong for opening up to his wife? Is a husband supposed to hide things to protect himself, or is openness the right thing even when it gets misused?
Is it betrayal for a wife to report every private matter to her sisters?
Where is the boundary between sharing and exposing?

Does love mean loyalty first to your spouse or to your extended family?
Can a person with a history of manipulation and pretence truly change without proof? If trust has already been broken many times, is forgiveness enough, or must there be conditions and boundaries? Should the man continue in this marriage hoping she has changed, or should he protect himself emotionally?
What would you advise a husband who still loves his wife but fears being betrayed again.
FamilyWhen Love For A Child Becomes A Battle, My Story by Onojasteve(op): 7:53am On Sep 04, 2025
When Love for a Child Becomes a Battle

I married my ex-wife in November 2020, after we had our daughter in March 2020. About a year into the marriage, her attitude changed. she became disrespectful, careless, and ignored my happiness. I complained, but she didn’t care. In October 2022, she returned my bride price and left with our daughter, who was 3 years old then.

In April 2025, I reached out to ask if she still wanted to come back before I remarried. She wished me well and gave me the go-ahead. I got remarried in May 2025, but immediately after, she blocked me on calls and WhatsApp and restricted me from my daughter. I still pay her school fees and buy her clothes, but I cannot spend even a full day with her. She’s 5 now, and I feel like she’s being used against me.

Now I’m torn: should I keep fighting for more access to my daughter, or focus on my new marriage and trust that one day my daughter will understand I never abandoned her? Please share your advice with me. I need guidance from those who may have been through this.

PoliticsUniversitydon Urgns To Actively Engage In Governance For Sustainable Development by Onojasteve(op): 11:33pm On Jan 30, 2025
Professor Emmanuel Eneche Onoja of the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State, has urged Nigerians to move beyond simply choosing their leaders during elections and actively participate in the governance process.

He emphasized that citizens must also hold their leaders accountable to ensure the sustainability of programmes and promote social justice for all.

The professor made this call on Wednesday during the 23rd Inaugural Lecture he delivered at the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State.

The lecture, titled “Accountability, Sustainability, and Social Justice: Catalysts for Nation Building,” also featured remarks on the role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), urging them to remain vigilant, vocal, and proactive in demanding good governance.

Professor Onoja, a scholar in accounting and taxation, stated, “The issues of accountability, sustainability, and social justice are at the heart of effective, efficient, and participatory nation-building.”

He further emphasized that governments operating with secrecy and corruption might lose legitimacy, as citizens are less likely to support governments they cannot trust.

He stressed that for a government to be accountable and transparent, citizens must engage beyond voting at elections.

“They must participate in governance processes and hold their leaders accountable for the sustainability of programmes and social justice for the citizens,” he added.

Professor Onoja explored the importance of accountability, sustainability, and social justice in ensuring the success of nation-building.

He explained that accountability guarantees transparency and responsibility, fostering trust between governments and their citizens.

The professor also emphasized the role of accountable leadership in ensuring decisions prioritize public well-being and responsible resource management.

He further elaborated on the necessity of sustainable development, which meets present needs without compromising future generations’ ability to meet theirs.

“Sustainable practices promote environmental health, economic stability, and social equity,” he said, underscoring the importance of resilient communities that are prepared for future challenges.

The professor also highlighted social justice, stressing fairness in the distribution of resources and opportunities.

“By addressing inequalities and empowering marginalized groups, social justice fosters cohesion and strengthens democratic values,” he explained.

He argued that these principles are essential for building a strong foundation for long-term development and stability.

Professor Onoja defined transparency in governance as a cornerstone for trust-building between government and citizens, ensuring leaders are held accountable for their actions.

He also advocated for mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and programs, which leads to more informed decision-making and resource allocation.

The lecturer addressed the importance of civil engagement, noting that when citizens participate in resource management, they help minimize corruption and ensure public resources are used as intended.

He stressed the significance of sustainable practices that preserve natural resources and create economic resilience, making economies adaptable to global changes.

On the issue of equitable resource distribution, Professor Onoja advocated for fair access to resources, which contributes to a more inclusive society and reduces disparities between different demographics.

In his speech, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, commended Professor Onoja for his significant contributions to academia.

He described him as a scholar of repute, both nationally and internationally, whose work bridges theory and practice.

“Professor Onoja’s contributions not only advance academic thought but also address critical societal needs.

“This inaugural lecture is not just an academic ritual but a moment of pride for our university and the nation,”Professor Akinwumi said.

He praised the timeliness of the lecture’s theme, noting its relevance to the socio-economic challenges facing Nigeria today. “Accountability, sustainability, and social justice form the foundation for building a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous nation,” he added.

The Vice Chancellor encouraged the audience to reflect on their roles as individuals and institutions in building a better Nigeria.

“Let us listen attentively, not just as an academic exercise but as a call to action. The principles of accountability, sustainability, and social justice must become the foundation of our policies, practices, and daily lives,” he advised.
Reports shows that Prof.Onoja’s lecture is the first of such academic exercises in 2025 in the University.
This Inaugural lecture is captured by ostasmedia studio, a media firm base in Lagos. They are mostly into events coverage in the area of photography and cinematography.

FamilyStayathome Drama As Woman Discovered Her Husband Camped His Girlfriend In Their by Onojasteve(op): 4:48pm On Apr 10, 2020
Drama as a woman discovered her husband camped his girlfriend in their guest apartment.

She narrated the incident, according to her, "I am at the point of committing murder because I have never been this angry.

In this locked down my husband brought his girlfriend into our home without my knowledge, the babe came prepared.

We have a two-bedroom flat in our basement is a kind of guest chalet that my husband always uses when he is doing research, writing books and reading for professional exams.

Sometimes when we have visitors that come in from outside the country they stay there, the place is like a guest house well furnished to taste with all the kitchen utensils.

So this babe and my husband planned to come and stay in the basement.

She bought foodstuffs, brought her clothes and she came in when no one could see her and checked into the guest chalet.

I noticed my husband spent so much time in the basement all in the name of writing his book that he needs quiet time away from the kids.

I didn't suspect anything, I finished cooking and I decided to take the food to surprised him there. As I gained access to the flat, I started perceiving the smell of food.

Behold I met my husband and his babe naked and asleep in the living room having eaten food cooked by her.

I went around the house and saw her clothes, shoes, toiletries in the bedroom. I screamed and they both rushed into the bedroom and met me. I bounced on him and started beating him.

They were both naked. I feel so hurt and betrayed. Bringing her into my home is a huge slap on my womanhood.

Now the problem is she can't leave as Abuja is locked down. How can I handle this?

Will she stay here for 14 days. I feel like killing the both of them now.

My husband said the babe is pregnant and insisted she can't stay alone during the lockdown so they both decided she come and stay in the guest chalet. Someone should tell me what to do before I kill the two of them."

Oya council of elders, wife materials what is the best way to handle such situation?

FamilyRe: My Fiancee Gave Birth Before Our Wedding by Onojasteve(op): 12:19pm On Apr 03, 2020
cococandy:
No offense but Your story has no head or tail. Filled with irrelevant details that don’t really add anything except confusion to the core issues.

So you guys had sex, she got pregnant and had a kid before you were able to have a Christian wedding? I’m assuming that’s the point you’re trying make. Correct me if I’m wrong. If yes. Then what’s done is done. Forget about the church people and their issues for now and focus on being a good parent to your new child.

Any wedding proceedings can be done after things get back to normal. We are not in normal times right now so you need to adjust your priorities. Appeasing church people should be the last of your worries. Not when you shouldn’t be going to church anyway.

Stay home and take care of your family. Thanks
Thank you, but reading the story, you understand my point..I actually did slept with her

Before you criticize me, please endeavour to read to the end. I have condemned myself already, I have punished myself already, and even criticised my ownself already, so Keep it cool.
I met this young lady in bible school in year 2017, then I was jobless.I was searching for another before a friend invited me to come attend a bible school at winners chapel.then I was heartbroken, hoping the lord will answer my prayers.
I met this charming and hairy young lady on the second day of the registration on a queue, fortunately we were merge together to sort for change because there was no change with the registration officer.
We became friends throughout the 3 weeks training and graduated together. Weeks after the graduation we started visiting each other, I visited her first, where I met her parents and she introduced me as brother John.luckily for me the parents welcomed me.Four months into our relationship she lost her dad, the burial date was scheduled for October same year, I made up my mind to follow her to her village in abia state which I did.
During the burial ceremony I was introduced as her finance by her mum to other elderly women in the village, elders already asking for colanut.
We came back to Lagos still no job, so I slow the whole thing down considering the fact that I was jobless. I went to learn photography and open a studio I have been managing. The business always make it difficult for me to see her as I used to even to visit her becomes an issue as the business is very demanding, she started complaining, I will try to explain the reason was the business, but she won't understand.
I invited her on my birthday, she refused to show up and asked me series of questions I could not answer, as in when did I call her last?when did I see her last? when did I send her money last?.the questions was just too much so I drop the call hoping to call back.
I actually didn't call back till may 2019, after a lady mess me up for the story I will tell you guys another time.
I returned begging and luckily for me, nobody has taken over my territory, I was forgiven and we started our relationship again. This time I want to be there always for her, I took her to my pastor we were told to start a marriage class.
I actually started the class around July 2019, did introduction by November. By December, she start avoiding me again, this time I followed up to ascertain the cause.so she open up to me that she don't want to disgrace me in the church I want to wed (winners) where I worship that we will do the wedding at her mother's church.i agreed, we went to Shiloh to pray, I notice during Shiloh that she was very weak, and always feeling dizzy, I thought maybe because of the nature of the programme but it continues to a point I suggest we conduct a test at the medicals.we actually conducted the test and lo and behold it was positive.she is pregnant.the funny thing I asked how long she refused telling me, now we got to rush things up for the wedding as that seems to be inky options as she is an igbo lady.we picked April 25th 2020 for the wedding, surprisingly my phone rag last weekend, it was her mother on the phone calling me to meet them up at a name hospital that my fiancee is in labour. I actually rush there because I was so afraid knowing the pregnancy isn't due.
Guys, I was shocked when the Dr came to congratulates me that my fiancee has given birth to a baby girl...I have 3 weeks to the wedding.
My question now is what do I do.i hide everything from my family as I already plan to use d wedding to cover secondly, in her tradition, if you impregnate a lady before marriage you pay damages, the amount will be decided by the family. Thirdly we already announce the date with friends n church. Should I go ahead with the wedding or schedule a new date. This lockdown in Lagos is another issue of serious concern.
Please guys be nice.

Forum GamesRe: How Old Is She, Her Mum, And Her Dad? by Onojasteve(m): 9:00pm On Apr 07, 2019
Let mother's age be x, then the girl's age will be x/2 being the half of her mother's.
Since the father's age is 5 years greater than the mother's, his age will be x+5.
According to the girl, the sum of their ages is 100. Therefore,
girl's age (x/2 years)+ mother's age(x years) + father's age((x+5)years) = 100.
Now, x/2 + x + x+5= 100
2x + x/2 = 100-5
2x + x/2 = 95
4x + x = 190
5x = 190
x = 190/5
x= 38.
Therefore, the mother is 38 years old, the girl is 19 years old and her dad is 43 years old.
