Russia is at least a federation.

Nigeria is a false democracy.

A group of military dictators restructured Nigeria politically, crafted a constitution they imposed upon all in a multi ethnic and multi religious Nigeria; with excessive political powers vested on Abuja Central government.
The centre no longer holds Nigeria together since 1999.
Return to zonal or regional system of government or dissolve Nigeria into more manageable countries. Arewa north has taken up sharia criminal laws thus carved its own country but clutch tight to one Nigeria because of lucre in the south.

But Nigeria is practising FALSE DEMOCRACY through its lopsided and skewed political structure of 20 states in one region bu 17 states for two regions.
The country was restructured by soldiers from the northern regiom of Nigeria. The structure is lopsided and rigged against the soithetn regions. Soldiers from the North reated the political structure and also supervised the 1999 constitution of Nigeria without referendum on the constitution.

A former deputy governor of a state in the southwest recently prophesied that Tinubu will be victim of this unitary government system if he does not restructure Nigeria politically before 2027.

Do not put your hope in coup. You don't need big guns and decrees to solve myriad economic problems confronting man in this age.

Don't derail the demand that everyone is making for your own "political saviour" that will eventually become another tyrant sooner or later.

Grow your indigenous capacity to solve your political problems and make your country one that Africa can look up to as standard bearer.

Dialogue will solve the problem at one point or the other, so that's what this protest is negotiating, it would be great not to derail it's demands.

Certainty: in politics, northern Nigerians are like they are a million miles ahead of southern Nigerians.
Northerners have been in control of Nigeria and its crude oil in the Niger delta region since the 1960s. North gives south a pittance from crude oil proceeds.

Northerners tell southerners that Nigeria is indivisible. Southerners agree and work more than northerners for unity of Nigeria. Northerners adopted sharia crimimal laws. Southerners stay aloof and think sharia is affair of only the sharia states.
