Why is Tinubu killing the same people that voted for him..?
Very few people voted for Tinubu in the north. Guess why the anti Tinubu protest is hottest in the north.
Yakubu Mahmood upturned the elaborate Electoral Act of 2022 to pronounce Tinubu winner of the last presidential election in Nigeria.

1. This isn't an assumption but an all too-clear fact! Let's stop the meaningless bragging abeg and face reality! undecided

2. As we speak, Igbos are protesting freely outside of the South Eastern State — in Lagos, Kano, Abuja, Osun, and Kogi; even in River's States, Igbos are recorded to have been among those protesting. There are videos to prove this from today alone. In the South Eastern States, however, Igbos are on lockdown, unable to protest. Why? It isn't that they don't have any reasons to. It is more that they have been bullied by their own politicians, including terrorist groups in the region, into staying indoors. August 1st is not a public or business holiday yet the vast majority stayed indoors today. The major reason behind the sit-at-home today is fear! undecided
Terrorists against restoration for Biafra make many Igbos sit at home on some day of the week, usually on Mondays. Today is Thursday and no sit at home day. Therefore empty streets in the southeast cities implies Igbos are not interested in the #endbadgovernment protest.

The pot on top of an alcoholic drink says it all. I guess it is better to get drunk than to buy food with the little you have.
What an inspiring message.
It shows the lack of direction of the whole charade.
Elsewhere in the developed world, women carry empty pot in protest. It symbolises seriousness and confirms that hunger was reason for the protest.

Where was the alcohol under the pot?
You Nurudeens of the SW with your ShophistiWretched media stunts. Nurudeens profited from PA Awo's free education in the SW region but misuse their education in pursuit of elongation of hegemonic rule over all in Nigeria.

Fact is that SE has been bullied into submission and sidelined in the scheme of things in this country, so they decided to play low-key to avoid being unduly victimised and used as scapegoats.

If they had marched out to protest, there would have been another Python Dance /full military clamp down on them with innocent youths killed and labelled as IPOB and villages burnt down.

Nevertheless...

#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria
Bull in a china shop cannot be bullied or intimidated to submission. If Igbos kept quiet, don't assume they have been bullied to submission. Igbo is the second largest ethnic group in Nigeria. Nobody bullies the Igbo in Nigeria and comes out unscathed.

Igbos protested with their votes in 2015, 2019 and in 2023. But rest of Nigeria refused to learn from Igbos that APC is no good for Nigeria. Why would Igbos protest now?

Or were those killed in the SW not measure equal to full human being?

How about your Oduduwa Republic agitation? You waved Oduduwa Republic flags in support of Tinubu on the grounds of London's Chatham House while Bola Tinubu was speaking inside the house.
Have you stopped because presidential seat is given to your ethnic god? After Tinubu administration, you will resume with Oduduwa Republic agitation. Foolish set.

Nurudeens of Southwest believe that a country can exist with every ethnic group restricted to its area of origin.
These people are the least educated people in Nigeria. Even the Almajiris of Kano or Kaduna are better educated than the Nurudeens of the SW region. The Nurudeens believe that crude oil in the Niger delta is in no man's land but Lagos is property of only the Yoruba. Tufiakwa. Poor education.

If not for too many Igbo efulefus, this quit notice should have been enough evidence before the UN for referendum on Biafra. But the efulefus will like to be killed and buried in their business premises in Lagos. Years after, Lagos State government will bukdoze the house and the burial spot for one reason or the other.

What a sight to behold! A woman with an empty pot joining the protest in Ojota. This is what we call a grand show of desperation.

While some are genuinely hungry for change, others are merely hungry for attention. The empty pot is a perfect metaphor for the empty promises these protests bring.

Instead of uniting to build, we are busy parading our woes for the world to see. When will we learn that no amount of noise will fill those pots if the leaders remain deaf to our cries?
Empty pot in a protest march anywhere else in the world is a sign women use to express frustration

Police is trained to investigate and prosecute corrupt people, protect citizens from kidnappers, religious insurgents, armed herdsmen, drug traffickers, etc.

But Nigeria police failed to protect the citizens against the above vices. Citizens got angry and protest. Police turn guns and shoot against the citizens. A most primitive police can shoot at unarmed citizens in protest.

Tinubu shunned the 2014 CONFAB organised by then President Jonathan to restructure Nigeria politically, after 13 years of Tinubu campaigning for political restructuring of Nigeria. Because Tinubu in 2013 saw that he could become Nigeria's president if he invited Buhari to oust Jonathan.
APC ended up driving Nigerians to abject poverty.
Who is fooling who?

Igbo people warned them in 2015, warned them again in 2019; warned them once more in 2023. They continued to make the same mistake. Tinubu campaigned for 13 years for political restructuring. In 2015, he calculated that sending out Goodluck Jonathan from office would make him become president after Buhari he invited from Daura to come to unseat president Jonathan.

Perhaps they still think the days of using money to bribe or weaponization of poverty. How can government be misusing Nigerian resources with impunity while the citizens continue to suffer needless pain?

All Tinubu's major moves have been disastrous so far; from the fuel subsidy removal, money printing, forex rate collapse, education loan and subsidy removal, N1tr saving when indebt, insecurity persists no clear defined direction and appointment of failures as appointees.
Momentary stealing of foreign reserves to shore up Naira value. Shortly after, the Naira continues in its downfall trend.
Monetary policy in disaster.
