From Onitsha to Awka to Enugu and Aba to Owerri nobody seems interested in a demented idea of politically motivated protest which the sponsors have hidden their gay children abroad and are telling the poor ones to go and dodge bullets on their behalf.

Bottled up anger is more dangerous than vented anger.
If soldiers and police are used to force people to stay indoors and not engage in the protest, anger has been bottled up.

Tinubu protested all over the lands in the SW region for more than 13 years campaigning for political restructuring of Nigeria. He stopped in 2014 when he saw a loophole to become president of Nigeria himself.
One of the cardinal demands of Protest Organisers is restructure Nigeria politically to True and Fiscal federalism under a zonal or regional system of government.

For more than 13 years till 2014, Tinubu protested all over the SW region for political restructuring of Nigeria.
Restructuring Nigeria to True and Fiscal federalism in zonal or regional government system is non negotiable now. That's one of the demands of the protesters.

APC and scamming. Na today it started? Only ignorant people continue to take part in APC things. APC scammed Nigeria people in 2015. In 2019, APC was rejected in the polls but it used the court justices mostly appointed by APC to remain in power.

In 2023, APC was rejected by voters. But it disbanded the Electoral Act of 2022 when its appointed INEC Chairman jettisoned electronic transmission of vote results and asked others to go to court.

No court judge asked the INEC Chairman: when the glitch came on your electronic system, why didn't you suspend the transmission process, repair the glitch and resume with transmission of vote results?

Worse foolishness is not understanding yet what has been planned for Nigeria since Buhari became President of Nigeria. The plan ongoing is to get Islamic Republic of Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws using government institutions.
