The Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig-Gen. Johnson Olawumi, has disclosed that the scheme would no longer entertain request from people, seeking for concessional posting for their wards, relatives and friends for mobilisation during the NYSC mandatory one year national service.

Olawumi, who was speaking during the opening ceremony of the training organised by the NYSC and the Housing Developers, Cooperative Society for Corps Members at the NYSC Orientation Camp Kubwa, Abuja stated that the scheme has introduced a self deployment mechanism to enable the prospective corps members choose a state, where they wished to serve.
The DG while urging members of the public to stop disturbing staff of the scheme with their requests for concession, disclosed that their online platform was designed in a way that corps members that had a genuine reason for concession, would not be denied.
“The NYSC is barring concessional posting, we have to take that decision, because in the past, we allowed concessional posting for prospective corps members, who have medical challenge, or married women or pregnant women, but as it stands now, our online registration platform has been designed in such away to address the problem of those prospective corps members who have health challenges or married women.
“So, all they need to do is that, in the process of doing their registration, there are information these categories of people need to supply and upload the documents, our portal has been designed in such a way that it will automatically post them to where they filled.
“I want to say that in the past few weeks we have been receiving requests from various quarters; ministries, departments, agencies, private institutions and individuals seeking for concessional posting. I want to say that they are just wasting their time,” he stated.
The NYSC DG explained that the training for the corps members organised by the scheme and the Housing Developers’ Cooperative Society was aimed at training and graduating skilled manpower in housing sector.
“The inauguration of 200 youth corps members for training in special areas of labour need in the housing development sector reaffirms our pledge to give useful skills to every willing graduate partaking in the national service,” he said.

This appears surprising but, Jesse Jagz has his reasons for choosing deaf and dumb as his ideal woman.

Rappers are unusual people, who live unusual lifestyles in  unusual ways. Top dog rap artiste, Jesse Jagz,  who left his old record label, Chocolate City, to form his own, Jags Nation, before returning  to Chocolate City is no different from many others.

The rapper surprised Potpourri when he revealed his ideal woman. According to him, his ideal woman must be deaf and dumb. As odd as this may sound, the Choc City rapper has his reasons and he explains:

“If I tell you my ideal woman you will not believe me. My ideal woman is someone who is deaf and dumb so that I cannot be talking too much or listening to too much conversations.

It will give me time to focus on my music. There is also something I learnt from Seun Kuti about marriage, he said that with development and everything, the major part of marriage is commitment and submission, appearance don’t necessarily matter.

To all the women I have this for you, the more you are getting educated and exposed, you must always remember that a man is always a man and a woman is always a woman. A cat cannot be a dog and a dog can never be a cat.

Yes guys they say are naturally promiscuous and an angel as a wife may still not make a man se.xually faithful to you.But im not talking about se.xual faithfulness but the actual act of dumping you for another lady which is a terrible slap on the ladies in such situations.

But im happy to let every lady reading this to know that it will be extremely impossible for any lady to snatch your man from you if you have these 6 wonderful attributes.

1. A good cook:- I can not stress this enough. If you know how to cook your man’s favorite food and i mean you really take time out to ask him what his favorite is and you go out of your way to learn the act of preparing such food in the best way he likes for him whenever he wants it then you have secured him 50%.

2. Be his personal private LovePeddler: Don’t be deceived,every man wants his wife to be a s*x-maniac for him in the bedroom and the more timid you are the greater the chance of losing him so give him real good in the bedroom and zip him down when he least expects it and blow that trumpet so good and make his head spin and trust me, he will run home to you everyday. The most boring thing any woman can do is to always wait for her hubby to demand for s*x “ooohh how boring” please develop the act of giving him first attack and scr*w the poo of him after-all he is your hubby and if you don’t do him well,who will?

3. Financial independence: Please if you are a “full housewife” reading this i guess its time to free yourself from perpetual insult. get something doing no matter what and even if you are not allowed to do an office thing just try and get something doing because nothing trips a man than a financially independent lady even if you don’t spend a dime on the home front,the fact that you have something doing that brings home money is good enough. And for those who play to their hubby’s gallery of sit at home order,be ready to be mocked by same man when there is a tilt in his emotional balance.

4. Humility: Its so se.xy to have a sweet humble lady who is non abusive to her hubby and his family,a humble woman will be full of respect and adoration for her hubby and even people around her and its very difficult for any-man to do away with a humble non abusive woman.

5. Se.xual decency: I am not talking about your past but a woman who is se.xually decent with her hubby and does not give room for the hubby to point an accusing finger at her is a delight to every man.A man gets turned on even more with the mindset that he is the only one having access to that honey comb but a s.exually indecent woman is a curse to herself and the hubby.

6. Fear of GOD: A woman who fears GOD is a delight to her entire household and she will be a strong pillar for her husband and family. Her ways will be pleasing to GOD and apparently pleasing to her man.

If you are a lady who possesses these 6 attributes even without a child for him yet please relax yourself and don’t bother about any lady snatching your husband. Yes if he is the randy type he may freestyle these attention seeking side chics but he will always run back to you and it will be extremely difficult for any daughter of eve to snatch him from you.

A Nigerian woman is assaulted by a ‘foul-mouthed’ black man on a bus in Peckham, London.

The incident was captured in a video by an Asian man who was in the bus.

Some black people who were on the London ride reportedly disembarked from the vehicle to avoid witnessing what would unfold.

London police later arrested the young man for assaulting the elderly woman.

The case is now in court and is being followed up by the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK) which is a Nigerian Embassy affiliated organisation in UK.

Tragedy was averted around 6pm yesterday by the stroke of luck when a fully loaded commercial bus almost fell off the Oshodi bridge in Lagos….. thank God for the safety of the occupants…..

In 2013, Uloma Walker-Curry, 44, conspired with a group of young men to kill her husband, Lt. William Walker, 45, a Cleveland firefighter. She did it so she could collect a life insurance policy and cover up financial fraud she
committed in his name. She has now been indicted on aggravated murder, conspiracy and felonious assault charges.

Uloma asked 21-year-old Padgett, who was dating William’s daughter as at then, to kill William. Padgett then recruited his cousin, Hein, 22, who turned to Dorty, 23, who then shot William dead? Detectives initially followed leads provided by Uloma that drug dealers might have killed her husband to stop him from complaining about them.

But a Crime Stoppers tip and cellphone technology led detectives to investigate her, She was arrested last 2 weeks. She married William in July 2013 and got him killed on Nov. 3, 2013….. she could face up to 3 months in jail if convicted…..
