Long shot!! Can someone that has experience about GIC ( guaranteed Investment Certificate ) please explain to me how to go about it In Nigeria. I want to buy GIC for 15k cad and pay first year tuition of 11k cad because I feel this would remove the doubt of insufficient fund. Please for Gods sake anyone with prior experience should help

I didn't put any asset in my application and I was self sponsored. No land documents, not even car documents and I was approved in less than 20 days. I only put my business documents to justify the money in my account.

since it’s a two years course,why not pay the tuition for one year instead of one semester before reapplying

Hello house , after denied last month due to POF which has been taken care of and even paid full school fees,i re-applied may 29th and till now, no decision has been made, no message from IRC yet and school is to resume First week in september. is there something i can do

just wait for like two weeks before resumption,if you don't get a decision then defer to winter,there is still a little time left sha,be patient

I went for a one year certificate program and was denied yesterday 28th June reason bothering not having enough funds to pay the remaining balance of tuition and don't believe I will return back to Nigeria after completion of studies, I'm still in shock and I've not ordered for gcms note yet. Also, I applied through an agent and think it wise to inform them on the latest update on my visa application. but I wish to reapply but I don't know if its for the next academic session starting May 2024 or still for this session starting September 5 2023 pardon my confusion. I was the sole sponsor for this denied application but I intend adding my brother that resides in the USA as my co-sponsor for the next application. Suggestions and advice from the gurus in the house would be much appreciated at this point. Please, kindly reach out to me in this thread I wait for your replies. Thank you.

as a self sponsor,you are expected to pay your full tuition for one year,you can still reapply if you get your note on time against fall,if the money for tuition is available then just pay the complete fees then let your brother in USA send money for the living expenses..then you are good to go

You are the co-sponsor, because the money you are sending to him will appear as a lump sum, which he will explain to the VO.
