I need advice. I got admitted to Conestoga college for May 2024.

It says the below:

Estimated tuition fee for the first academic year of the program 8
months of study: $20,604.50 CAD
Estimated tuition fee for the first semester of the program 4months of
study: $10,150.00, CAD
Program Length: 2 Academic Year(s) (Periods Of 8 Months)

This letter of acceptance replaces all previous offers issued and
will expire unless:
A $1,500.00 non-refundable deposit is received by the
College on or before: October 15, 2023
The balance of the first semester tuition fees are paid and
received by the College by: February 13, 2024
Proof of study permit authorization/approval letter is
uploaded to the International Registration Portal
Note: If the above payments are not received by the College before the dates
listed above, you may not be eligible for the program.

*My question is if i can pay the $1,500.00 non-refundable deposit and be issued the LOA i need for a study permit application and also if yes to this - will the fact that i paid just $1,500.00 be a red flag to the IRCC seeing as the college said to pay the balance of the first semester tuition fees by February* Or if i should just pay the $10,150.00 at once. Though i do not have it complete right now. If 1,500 would do i would rather go for that and make the visa application then get ready to pay the funds when due as the Uni asked.

Please help me based on experience everyone.

What are you scared of? Certainly everyone cant have property...make sure your SOP is right and detailed. Have sufficient funds to cover your living expenses and miscellaneous and a Lil extra. Also sources of funds and all lump sums well explained with complete supporting docs. That's all.

I used 4months statement. It’s not a red flag. That’s even d duration stated on their site.

70% tuition fee
GIC cert - living expense of 10k
Birth cert - NPC, state of origin,
CV, Professional certs
Two different account statements - 6Mil and 2000usd.
Proof of income

If you want peace of mind and to be able to focus on your hustle while abroad. Don’t go into any relationship till you make all the money and come back to Nigeria.

Reason is, most Nigerian ladies are not understanding enough. They are not a good giver of peace of mind. Until when She starts giving you nonsense attitude, not taking your calls, dropping your calls just to spite you, lies, and unending bills.

You have to be very strong hearted to date some home girls while abroad. Them go stress you o.

The worse part is when you call her and She tells you she’s at her uncles place, She will be talking small small and later off her phone.

Na the next day She go on the phone and prepare one lie to wash your simping brain. Tell me how you can face your hustle abroad with all this.

Also note that while you are away, if you very unfortunate to have a girl that can’t hold her body and soul together, she’ll have someone to warm that engine on your behalf. The guy might be a weed smoker or a yahoo boy that will reck everything beyond recognition when you get back.

Please note that not all persons have business to show as a home ties that's why I said Id's pictures and as well Marrige/birth cert.
Nobody is leading anyone of the question
But if the person has a business well get ready to show the document of the business
That is CAC CERTIFICATE and all that.

1. Landed property is not an or a strong home tie, it is only an asset which is sellable at any time to assist yourself, home ties is (a strong home tie is profession, and relationship etc although we are not completely removing the properties back home)

If a school wants to make a refund to you,lets say you paid when cad was 350 or so,payment made was 10,000.will they refund based on the rate you paid then or the cbn rate now,The person got admission to a cheaper school and is thinking of requesting for refund to pay for this new one urgent reply please

Increased my POF from 24m to 30m
Added payslip
It took me 1 week to actually work on SOP
I explained every document like I was teaching a nursery student on SOP

I am planning to apply for a Diploma/certificate program (1 year) in medical laboratory science, but I'm concerned about how it will affect my study visa approval. Someone told me that study visa for Diploma/certificate program as a bsc holder usually get rejected with logical progression of studies as reason for denial. Does anyone have any experience/idea concerning this?
P.S I have bsc microbiology and I graduated 6 years ago.

I've sent a webform and still no response and my school resumption date is last week of this coming August.
It is my second reapplication - What could be the problem with the application? Should i defy the admission to winter next yr?
