zubizareta: This period will be the best time to go for 1 year program then you can decide to extend and do a 1+1 in Canada. This POF issue isn't funny again. This is the best for now |

Mrblaqjaym: Hello House, please I need your help. I Lost my mind after a getting a refusal note from IRCC,I want to know if I should continue on this canada study or look Into the European region. I am a first time applicant and I am sponsoring myself.
1)Study permit submitted on the 5th of May 2)Biometrics on the 12th of May 3)Upfront medicals on the 11th of May. IRCC requested I do a sputum test on the 28th of May, test was concluded on the 2nd of June. Expected date for sputum test is first week of August(I have done Sputum test in two different hospitals and they came out nagtive, no trace of MTB. I am expecting a genexpert result on my Monday to also know from a military hospital in Port Harcourt.
On the 15th of June I got a refusal letter from IRCC based on financial issues. Tuition deposit paid 500CAD My tuition fee is 49kCAD for two years. I submitted an approved 50kUSD from Mpower. I submitted a stamped #7m bank statement of my own account from Access bank (there was progression it wasn't a paid POF). Is this funds not OK for this study?
Now I would like to reapply when my gcms note comes in July to meet up with September.
I work in my dad's firm, I do not receive salary, I manage his business, I also own my own registered business.
Document I submitted showing proof of work;
My ID card. My Company CAC document. Letter of Introduction showing my own business annual return. Study leave with pay, using my dad's business letter head.
I have thought of doing this if I am to reapply; I intend bringing in my dad business fully into the application, I didn't give more details on it before cause he wasn't my main sponsor. I want to do a valuation on his two property and include that he sold a property to raise #10m which will be in his account (he has a total debit and total credit of over #200m but closing balance isn't upto 4m but we can get it to 10m). Then include his company profile and CAC document (but no active) business invoice,complimentary card and pictures of work place and family pictures. Will these fly? Will they request for tax documents?
Please house advice me on how to go about this? pay your first year fees before reapplying,they didn’t deny you because of the money in your account but the fact that you didn’t complete the payment |

As long as your documents are legible and in the correct section they will see it. It's not an exam or research paper. However if this is your preferred method to make your mind feel at ease please use it Na everyday I de get high BP by just looking at other people's timeline...may God help us |

Tejaisco: Hello guys!!!!!! I bring you all good news from my end. My God has put a smile upon my face. I got my ppr this evening! As a third class graduate, I felt defeated in life, I didn’t know where to start from. One beautiful evening sometime late 2021, my uncle called and asked if I’d love to come to Canada, I responded yes with so much joy in my heart . Fast forward to 2022, I joined this thread...coming here every day to read about this whole visa application, And testimonies too. I finally submitted my application on the 10th of April ( I used a RCIC agent in canada )...i have cried, couldn’t stop screaming and praising God. I can’t post my timeline here because I don’t have access to it but my agent always sent me pdf file of whatever message ( biometrics request later, medical request letter too ) I get in my application . Here are the documents I submitted from my end: I did upfront medical on the 28 of March Biometrics on the 18th of April. Biometrics was passed same day Medical request on the 2nd of May ( my agent submitted medical sheet via web form that same day,IRCC acknowledged they received on the 5th of May) PPR and BVL 11th May LOA from SAIT ( program is environmental technology) FALL 2023 Waec result Bsc cert and transcript Nysc certificate Birth certificate My mum’s age declarations bearing same surname with my uncle to proof ties My mom’s change of name to my father’s Siblings birth certificate . Tuition deposit receipt paid from my uncle’s bank account in Canada. Account summary from SAIT to show that I paid the non-refundable deposit . SOP written by me because I believe I am the only one that can tell my story but my agent edited it. Bio data page of my international passport. I didn’t submit my statement of account because I no get shishi ( my uncle is my sole sponsor). For the documents my uncle submitted, I don’t really know because he submitted directly to the agent.
So to everyone that has answered my questions here, may God bless you all. My brothers and sisters waiting for decisions, make Una nor worry God go do am for Una as e do am for me. congratulations my dear,please when did you submit |

Kingdenny1: If your sponsor have enough money in his account, use only your sponsor and leave out your own account , make sure you upload all your qualifications , good home ties with your sponsor and add your sponsor properties, including your own , don’t allow the documents to be plenty, just pick the important ones , you are good to go , don’t confuse the VO |

skentelelady: What do you do presently? Computer science isn't related to Civil engineering. I will advise you look for a school that will accept you for Computer sci to show academic progression or apply for a course related to your present work experience to show career progression
Don't be in a hurry. Take your time to plan very well. You also need to work on your POF it will make more sense to chose a course relating to your work experience |

What do you do to tackle the concerns of the visa officer on your gcms note stating that the purpose of visit is not a reasonable expense,despite having work experience relating to what you intend to study,is it advisable to change the course or throw more light on why you would want to study the course? |

Samxx: was it your notes that told you that ? did they request for an updated statement and the money wasn't there when you resent or you were refused outright for that reason ? that is the only reason on my note,and my agent also said the same thing that My sponsor is not suppose to touch the money till the visa comes out…..the money left the account three days after MBS was sent to the embassy |
