FashionRe: Let's Talk About Arm-pit Deodorants by Onyema1(m): 7:28am On Jan 20, 2009
i use sure body spray for men. It works for me and i think its the best for men.  But, hey chemists in the house, i hear that these body sprays could cause canser, how true is this?  They said the sweat that the sprays restrain from coming out from the body forms glot in side the body and has the potential of causing canser.  Advise  please.

@poster, please i need the handouts to this lecture so that i can read ahead of you and be at home with the lecture, i do not understand very fast and i don't want to be missed out in this business. Infact one of my friends is teaching me how to speak in tongues and i am catching up pretty fast.

good enough i am a lawyer and speaking good grammer is not my problem. I am also good in memorising a lot of sections so quoting the "word" verbatim will not be a problem. I will need other interested talented persons to come and partner with me in this business. I will oversee the due registration of our name and other logistics. I have a good four bed room bungalow, we can convert the garrage for starters and test running the biz.

I await your response

Any other VGC user to corroborate my submission

BusinessRe: Which Bank Is The Most Customer Friendly In Nigeria? by Onyema1(m): 4:45pm On Mar 03, 2008
My dear people, the truth is that i havn't got cause to deal with all the banks, but i will tel you that intercontinental bank to me is the best bank in terms of customer friendly and service delivery. I have an account there and the staff behave the same in all the branches, maybe that is the orientation given to them at training, but they are good. I will vote for them any day.

In fairness, i don't have an account in GT Bank but i hear also that GTB is wonderful in terms of customer friendly. I have mad up my mind to open an account with them soon. A lot more good things have been said about them by reputable associates.

I have an account with Zenithif, but i assure you, that bank sucks. if i have my way, i will move my salary account from there.

For now, i stick to Intercontinental bank as the koko, they first to send me an sms on my birthday, on vals day, xmas greeting etc. the bank is just too much. A trial will convince you.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Why Do Every Graduate Want To Work In A Bank by Onyema1(m): 6:07pm On Nov 27, 2007
@poster,

Bank Job? God forbid.
I had up to 2 direct bank job offers but turned every thing down. Not because i hate it as such but simply because it leads one to no where. Most of my friends that have spent 3-4 years in there are trapped right now and are looking for the possible way to get out. Bank job doesn't develop one's career. Can you imagine a lawyer working in the bank, and all you do is to review mortgage deed every day. An accountant employed in the bank turn him or herself into a paying teller for all your life. The question you will ask your self is, will ever become a boss of your own while working in a bank.

Beautiful girls turned into something else in the name of marketing to meet target. Target my foot!!!!. Please my brothers and sisters if you read a professional course the best thing for you is to build your career as a professional. Some say banks pay well,

depends on what you mean by pay well, right now there a lot of blue chip establishments that pay double what the banks pay with your career development guaranteed. you are sent out for various trainings etc. If you are sacked from the bank after say 3-4 years, bet me it will be difficult to get any job elsewhere because all you know is the routine job you do in the bank.

No skills acquired.

BusinessRe: Business Tax In Nigeria by Onyema1(m): 8:59am On Aug 31, 2007
Hey King-Jaja or Jaja King, your mama put business will attract 2 baisc taxes plus other local government levies and impositions. the basic taxes are personal income tax, payable by you from your monthly income from your mama-put business, value added service: this is the out put vat chargeable @5% of the cost of any plat of food you sell to your customers. You factor in the 5% vat in the cost of each plate of food and at the end of the month you will remit all the vat collected to the nearest firs vat office. Because of this, once you commence your business, you go and register for vat at the vat office nearest to you and obtain a vat registration number, each plate of food you sell must be invoiced to enable tax men verify your remitances. you wil also be liable to withhold personal income tax from your staff and remit same to the state inland revenue office near you. the rate of pit graduates from 5% to a ceiling of 25%.

You can also avoid all these taxes by simply giving free food to any tax man that comes near your mama-put to disturb your business.

EducationRe: How Many Times Did You Take The JAMB UME? by Onyema1(m): 5:12pm On Jun 26, 2007
Texazzpete or what do you call your self. You what i exactly meant, you just attached my post albert uninformed, that my position was borne out of bad faith, and then blew your own trumpet that you wrote jamb when you where 15 and so on. On one fell swoop, you turn round to advocate for the change of the topic to read just what seems to be a corroboration of my posting. I know that in most of the universities in Nigeria, irrespective of the discipline one is, general studies (GS) is mandatory in first year. As a component of the GS package, logic and clear thought is prominent. This helps to sharpen our reasoning process and produce thoughts devoid of fallacies.

If you had ended your submission with your first post, i had already positioned my mind to categorise you as an exception to my earlier classification. But now, i am convinced that you are just a , let me spare this adjective for the sake of decent people that might be reading this post.

I put it to you that, that person you referred to in your last post is no other person but your self. This is another bitter truth, which only you can corroborate.
BusinessRe: Should Subsidiaries Be Separately Registered As Companies? by Onyema1(m): 8:56am On Jun 26, 2007
Well, irrespective of the drawbacks in runung the units as a group, my experience instructs me that incorporating seperate entity for the various units is preferable. In doing this, the holding company will have 100% equity in all the subsidiaries. Seperate incorpration will enhance effective management, limitation of liability etc. You may then register a trade mark in the name of the holding company, which all the subsidiaries will use in their respective trade, this will give the group a unifoed identity, so that you dont have to spend much money on advert.

On the tax implication as Seun querried, once they are seperate legal entities, they pay income tax separately. This would not implicate multiple taxation since income tax is payable on profit. And with appropriate tax planning machanisms, you will find out that you would come round the issue of taxes. For instance, you might structure the organisation in such a manner that the investments by the holding company in the subsidiaries would be in the form of loans with moratorium of up to 7 yrs and grace period of up to 2 yrs. This will make the interest paybale on the loan tax free. Ther so many ways you can structure the organisan's transactions to reduce the tax burden on both the holding company and the subsidiaries.
EducationRe: How Many Times Did You Take The JAMB UME? by Onyema1(m): 8:24am On Jun 26, 2007
Most of you here are not sincere!!! No body has mentioned the ones he/she took by proxy. You know what i mean. Let me tell you, for the past 5 years most of the chaps that enters university did not write their JAMB. That is just the bitter truth. For me JAMB needs serious reform. Unless that drastic reform is effected, our graduates will continue to unemployable. "Who told you that there are no jobs in Nigeria" some of our graduates sincerely speaking should go back to the primary school, which is where infact they should be.

BusinessRe: Top 10 Richest Nigerians by Onyema1(m): 8:01am On May 23, 2007
Well i dont know the criteria that was used in drawing up this list, but obviously, the list cannot stand the test of pragmatic verification irrespective of the criteria for the selection. In the first place the bank CEOs should disapear from the list. How can you enlist a COE of a bank and ommit the owner of the bank who employed the CEO. For your information Mike Adenuga is the owner of ET Bank. His investment cuts across the 3 major sectors in our economy today viz: oil, communication and banking. I therefore recommend that you withdraw the list and start a fresh research on the issue. An d i will not want to see any name that is or should be RIBADU sensitive. Thanks.

Mean while, my country men iam new here and i dont know how to generate a new post. please i need a direction on how to post new topic. This forum is fantastic. Thanks every one for your time and quick response.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Boyfriend Search 101 by Onyema1(m): 5:31pm On May 11, 2007
well, great dairyland users, for those of you that have emphasized on having a car, cash and the rest of them, does that mean that a guy who donnot have a car and probably enough money to spend should forget about looking for a girl friend? I need valid answers to this because i dint have a car, as for money, i am a young graduate working in a good law firm with pay good enough for my status, i dint have a girl friend, but intend to get one, if aim cleared as to what you girls want. I thought people should be talking about a loving gentle man who has a future, even though he dint have the money and car at the moment.

heehaw!!, girls be careful about what you want, good life is not all about money.
