My dear. I am innocent, means I have a right to life just like the next man.
Jesus died for what??
Whats the proof that his death was beneficial to me??
Why does God have to kill himself to appease himself??
Nne, I am a good man (and I know this for a fact), you prolly are a good woman (I stand to be corrected) .
Oga, what im to say is that there is no such thing as "good people". we are all sinners in this world. Of course you have the right to live just like any other man and women in this world. Jesus died for our sins.(yours and mine). The proof is there, but you will not see it until you have faith in His word. Stand to be corrected eh? Oga what are you trying to say this evening?

Innocent people who die unnecessarily.

Chrisbenogor:
@onyinye Nne you can go back and read again I answered what I meant by good people and followed with an example of the 6 million capeesh.
Its that easy to answer a question, you said we were all sinners and plugging that into the original context of what I said it would mean they deserved it thats why I asked if thats what you are implying? And you still have not answered
Nwoke, understand what im saying. I am saying that there is no such thing as "good people". we are all sinners in this world. Maka gini, Jesus did for us eh? Did he die on the cross for good people? Mba. He died on that cross to take away the sins from the sinners.

Chrisbenogor:
@onyinye would you be implying that those 6 million deserved what happened to them ?
What did the others in the world do better for them to deserve being killed like that?
Nna did any of this was implied by muah? No. i was just asking a question that i got no answer to. Im asking you, who are good people?
Christianity EtcRe: My Friend Hates God. Don't Know What To Do. Advice by onyinye2(f): 10:23pm On Aug 17, 2008
Chrisbenogor:
Good people in the context I used it means someone who don't deserve certain bad things to happen to them, I pointed out the 6 million jews what was their crime?
Who are "good people" eh? Last i heard we were all sinners.

Christianity EtcRe: My Friend Hates God. Don't Know What To Do. Advice by onyinye2(f): 9:55pm On Aug 17, 2008
Chrisbenogor:
Furthermore your friend might ask why do bad things happen to good people I would say because its natural, if the pope and I were on a cliff and I push him gravity was not designed to respect anyone and the shooting of pope john paul quickly comes to mind. Adolf hitler was responsible for the death of 6 million jews God's supposedly chosen people and he did nothing, simply put nature plays no favourites thats how I God if he is there somewhere is. Science has done a lot for us today and even if the religious always like to bludgeon it to death each time it comes up with something contrary but I put it to them today to examine the life you lived today and ask yourself what role science played. Now they came up with irrefutable evidence that the earth is 4.5 billion years old and religion dates it at only some thousands if nothing smells of foul play this alone stinks.
Please elaborate and give a definition of "good people".

Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerian Nurses Beware? by onyinye2(f): 8:01pm On Aug 17, 2008
This is truly a shame. It happens more here in Texas and Oklahoma then any other state. Because this is where the RN's make the greatest amount of money. I even knew a lady that was being verbally and physically abused by her Nigerian husband. Until one day my dad told her to go home, get her kids and come stay with us. He helped her get a divorce and restraining order against the man. I don't know what happened to the husband but, the lady and her kids are forever grateful.

What they need to do is practice on their defense because they got lucky with Ivory Coast. But Belgium will see that weakness and turn it against Nigeria.

Poems For ReviewRe: The Confessions Of A Love Slave Pt.2 by onyinye2(op): 3:38am On Aug 17, 2008
@rotimy

Our marriage has become like an over played song
There are moments i feel loved, and times like i don't belong

How many times am i going to have to forgive you for your mistakes
You say your sorry, you love me, but it all sounds fake

One moment you are the rotimy that i love and cherish
Then the next you throw our love away and i watch it perish

Sometimes at night i dream i will never wake to see day
To never face the realities of you creepin at bay

It is like nothing i do will satisfy
So i watch our love disappear and die

We go through the same cycle over and over again
Apologies, tears, then you lead me to the bed

There was a time that you made my body quiver
Sent zings down my spine as you deliver

Now i just lay there and wish it to end
Because you are not my lover nor my friend

With each day i'm one step closer to leaving
Hoping to find that on guy who doesn't see me as a demon

I guess this basically my good bye letter to you
Because i just see myself living with you.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men And Flowers by onyinye2(f): 12:23am On Aug 17, 2008
For my anniversary i expect more than some stupid gift that has no thought in it. To me it is not the money that counts. I would except a day at the beach just him and me. Having a time of fun and love, then something material.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men And Flowers by onyinye2(f): 12:16am On Aug 17, 2008
Queenisha:
yes, if he buys kitchen stuff that's good and thoughtful but not as an anniversary gift.
(yes I forgot flowers on  anniversary)
But it goes both ways.
The ladies ought to buy their men things too on each of those ocassions.
Of course i would buy him something. I would buy him whatever he wants. . . . . or i would like for him to have.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men And Flowers by onyinye2(f): 12:14am On Aug 17, 2008
No, you're right.

But if my man comes home one day with a nice pot that he "saw in the store and thought I'd like", I'll be very happy. Cuz he was thinking of me. As I said, I love decorating the house, love shopping to make my house nice.
I'd feel special because he was thinking of me, and knew I'd be happy to have that pot.

Not every man helps a woman around the kitchen, you know.
Oka maybe that situation will work. Oka for that i might cook him something extra special. But I would do far more than cook him dinner if he came home with:
A Bouquet of assorted Tulips
A box of chocolate covered caramel turtles.

Uche2nna:
If it means that much to You, then let him know. I am just saying that the purchase of flowers (or lack thereof) is not the only way You can express love. And most Nigerian men do not express love that way. Something u need to bear in mind before u say "I do".

About buying utensils from Walmart, correct me if I am wrong but I always thought that Walmart has a section for flowers. You can buy your flowers alongside with your utensils  grin
Not the flowers i like. Oka you keep talking about, "not the only way You can express love" and yet you failed to give an examples.
RomanceRe: What Do I Do? by onyinye2(f): 12:09am On Aug 17, 2008
Oka this calls for a dose of Tough Love.

You need to sit up and listen. You need to get over this guy. You are far to good to be wasting your time for some guy to come crawling back. Go and experience a new guy. Who could end up being the best thing in your life.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men And Flowers by onyinye2(f): 12:04am On Aug 17, 2008
To me flowers mean alot. I have always adored them. Every morning i go outside, do my meditation next to my garden of passion flowers. So what is wrong with a guy buying me a bouquet of tulips(my fav)
Uche2nna:
Bottom line,

Dont go into your marriage expecting that kind of gesture of love.
Oh yes i will.
That's not a bad gift.
If I was a mother, I'd love that.
Something useful, some that'll last long, and sth that'll actually take care of my family.
And BtW, I love shopping for kitchenware. . . . I don't know why, but I love decorating the kitchen with nice stuff cool
NOPE!!!!!!! I don't want no stupid pot. I can always just go to Wal Mart and buy one. That aint romantic at all.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men And Flowers by onyinye2(f): 11:59pm On Aug 16, 2008
Queenisha:
onyinye there are men like that and I'm married to one. cool
Since I met him I receive flowers with gifts every Birthday, valentine and mothers day.
He sent me the biggest basket of flowers at the hospital at the birth of our babies.
But flowers are not the test of romance though.
Some Nigerian men are slow at catching on.
Just manage him if he doesn't buy them
Manage gini? Is it hard to buy a bouquet of flowers i mean come on. I will even accept a box of chocolate turtle with the caramel in the middle. Is that too much to ask for?

Uche2nna:
There are other simple things to buy. Things that would last longer than a white rose. Unless You want me to get those plastic/ artificial flowers. I can do that.  grin
You would buy her what? A nice silver pot to cook food for you? Oh oka i see.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men And Flowers by onyinye2(f): 11:52pm On Aug 16, 2008
Oka Uche, you are refusing to buy simple flowers for your one and only true destined love of your life who holds your heart dear close to hers with all are God giving might, you won't even bother to buy her one white rose?
