That was what I told him.
dduchess90:
Hello

If it was debited and it's for CAS not visa stage

You are still on time to correct this please restart your count

Better an extra 10days wait than issues (CAS and possibly visa refusal in future)

Cheers
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 8 by onyiokoye: 8:47am On Oct 19, 2022
Debited not deposited.
justwise:
Since you have the complete money before the lump sum was mistakenly deposited then you have no prob, the money deposited did not add to the nitial amount or reduce it.

Though you need to explain this during your visa application, don't allow the ECO to figure it out.

Okay so once the uni is okay with it and sees the progression, there won't be any need to justify that to the UKVI office? Also, do I need to submit my Nysc certificate? And do I also need to submit employer reference even though it's only been 3 years since I finished school?
dduchess90:
Hello

No, you will need to justify that with the Uni you apply to

Cheers

You will still need POF
dduchess90:
Hello

Yes it is possible but you must justify your progression and the reason you want to do another masters

You won't need a TB test and POF

Just visa and IHS payment which you know where to find when it's time to apply

Cheers

Yes.
HenryG:
Good morning,
I appreciate for everyone that has been of help to me here. I am moving to go for MPH I have at hand.
I want to please ask that how possible is it to apply for another master on completion of the first Masters programme without coming back to Nigeria to process the visa and tuberculosis test. For example, as a student of Jan 2023 admission planning to apply for Jan 2024 also.
Please help with your view.
Thanks
@dduchess09, justwise and EVERYONE

If you're going for a second masters in the UK, do you need to submit an additional statement of purpose to the UK immigration office explaining why you need a second masters?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 8 by onyiokoye: 6:20am On Oct 19, 2022

Do not listen to anyone that tells you to continue counting. Start counting afresh. The UK is not smiling now especially with Nigerian immigrants and any small mistake they will deny you visa. It's just 10days and either way you will still apply for visa in November whether you continue counting or not. So it's better there are more days than less. Do not give the visa officer any reason to doubt. After all, people leave the money for extra days. And if at all you want to continue counting, you must write a letter to UKVI explaining what happened so that they don't think otherwise.

Good evening, observed that the lump sum in my POF was debited yesterday, contacted the bank and I was told it was system error, it was later returned…having “reversal” as it’s narration within the space of two hours. Please is it possible I still continue reading the POF from the initial date the Lump sum entered(10days ago) or from today?

P.S: POF is for CAS

How many days did you count before the error?
ck123:
Thanks, but that’s a hard nut to crack
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 8 by onyiokoye: 8:26pm On Oct 18, 2022
Unfortunately, you will have to start counting from today.

Go to another First bank branch.
gendebs:
I have tried to make redrawal from the account but whenever I visit first bank I am told they don't have dollars and I can't do interbank transfers except to first bank only. I tried explaining the need and why I should run the account but they turn deaf ears to my plea saying they don't have dollars.

I just hope it won't be an issue.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 8 by onyiokoye: 2:14am On Oct 17, 2022
You can make transactions. You can always withdraw and deposit money. As long as you have enough money to be doing that. Say if your proof of funds is £9,207 and you have £11,207 in the account, you can use the excess of £2,000 to be making transactions. You can withdraw £200 today, withdraw £700 next week, deposit back £500 the following week etc Just make sure it's different figures you're withdrawing and depositing.
gendebs:
I kept the money there and haven't made a single transaction cos I can't make transactions in dollars nor can I transfer to any dom account aside from my bank (first bank).

Hope there won't be a problem for not running the account except for my POF I saved in the account?

Pls what is Form A used for? I've been seeing people talking about Form A but I don't understand what it's used for.
Promoter2:
UBA doesn't approve Form A applications from accounts less than 3 months old. Please find alternatives to avoid wasting all the time.

You can only allow camera access once.
adanma12:
Pls for those who took the test on a laptop last week Thursday. Did you camera come on after you clicked access camera option when you tried login in again or it took you straight to begin answering the questions. After I tried login in again, it didn’t show me the option to allow camera access it just took me straight to the questions

Pls did anyone have this issue?

Lies
Jerrydox:
I was informed that those who logged in but were denied access to take the test are those whose names were specially requested by the organization. That they met the requirements of the organization and therefore were excepted from writting the test.
Someone should verify also.

Thank you. You're the only one who understands my point. The rest are just arguing blindly.
Olowozain:
Both arguments are right. If you're very good, take your time to answer correctly. I think that was your point. On the other side, if you are not sure of your ability to answer the questions, keep guessing as lead by your spirit is a good way instead of leaving blank.

But the basic of the arguments had earlier been addressed. Guessing most of the answers and finished on time is not better than taking your time to answer many correctly if you know the answers to the questions. Probability of passed for guessing answers is 1 in 20 people. Probability of passed for answering correctly is 1 in 3 people
Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ("NERC") Is Recruiting. by onyiokoye: 9:01am On Sep 24, 2022
The last time I checked, understanding a question before answering is better than guessing. This is a blind argument. You're wrong. End of discussion.
Edonnaa:
How sure are you that the 80 questions one answered was even all correct?
The same way one would rush to pick an answer and be wrong is same way one will settle down and pick an answer and would still be wrong..

Trust me some guessed answers are sometimes the correct answers. Just saying
Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ("NERC") Is Recruiting. by onyiokoye: 7:37am On Sep 24, 2022
Okay. Let's see how you're going to pass if you picked 60 wrong answers randomly. You were just lucky to pass the NCDMB one because most of the random answers you picked were correct. That doesn't mean you will always be lucky. Stop arguing blindly and accept the fact that you're wrong.
Control7:
Na English u dey speak, I didn't read in the instructions that the test is based on percentile or whatever. I finished everything, the ones I don't know I pick any option and moved on, did same for NCDMB yet I passed and uploaded documents. From experience, don't leave any question unanswered. Thanks

Thank you. I don't know who told him/her that answering all questions is more important than answering correctly. If he is saying answering all questions is more important than answering correctly then why why did I bother reading the questions to understand so I can pick an answer? Is it operation 'fastest fingers' ?

I don't want to argue but this is the very first time i am knowing of this your claim! However, its surprising you don't know the simple logical explanation he gave given the facts that we have written soo many CBTs in school, utme, post utme and what have u
Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ("NERC") Is Recruiting. by onyiokoye:
Nothing like that. What matters is if your answer is correct. Getting the questions right is more important. If answering correctly does not matter then why bother reading the questions? Just pick random answers and no need to cross check so that you don't go back and forth. So you think they would waste their time to set questions and answers for people like you to come and answer randomly without thinking of the answers first just because you want to show them how fast you are? Like I said, what matters is if you answered correctly and not whether you finished all or if you were going back and forth to cross check answers.
nikola:
Thank you for taking out time to enlighten me. However, I would ask that you go ahead and read about CBT testing.
There are so many factors to consider, like those going back and forth, those going straight, those that do not answer all and those that skip questions. There's scores for all that.
Cheers
