Many people use to say that "No human can live without sin" and "Noone can be Holy as God is Holy".
But God has commanded expressly without mincing words that "Be holy for/because I am holy!"
Look at it this way. God does not expect you as a human being to produce holiness or righteousness. In fact your own righteousness is like filthy menstrual rags before his eyes.
So then how can you obey the command to be Holy because He is Holy?

Analogy
If you put a hot water inside a stainless steel cup, that cup does not need to pray or fast to be hot. If you put ice water inside the stainless steel cup, the cup doesn't need to be begged to become cold be it in America or Africa.

The Human life is simply a container for the Eternal Life (the Life of God). We are stainless steel cups in that Contain the Holy God. So it is like telling the cup "Be hot because your Content is hot"
You are gods, all of you are the sons of the Most High God. A dog births a dog, Mango produces Mango, Lions born lions. God gives birth to gods! You cannot contain God and not exhibit the characteristic of God. You are the Light of the World because you contain the Almighty Light.

Some years ago, I was a Consultant Engineer to a FG Project at the FCT and other states. Could you believe that the so called Foreign Engineers they brought from Germany, UK, India and China where learning the work from we the Nigerian Engineers?
Then I was even a young Engineer not even COREN-Certified at that time self. Yet those foreigners couldn't know jack more than us that were trained here.
