So I am the bad one now. I had VD with episiotomy but resumed kpesusing 3weeks post partum. It was painful at first but became ok subsequently

OK... I think u n I have some similarities. I didnt have S. ex all thru pregnancy cos I had placenta previa.
I had my baby via CS n when I went for my 6 weeks appointment, d gynae asked me if I had resumed kpekusing wt dh n I said No...he looked at me seriously and said 'Madam what are u waiting for? ', I said 'clearance'...
He just laughed at me and said I should resume anytime I feel comfortable as long as I don't feel any pain. He said some mamas who had CS don't even wait till 6 weeks.

I summoned courage and resumed 2 months postpartum.
I did my family planning immediately after my first menses Post-delivery (3 months).

Summary of my long story is this..... Don't be scared, penetration may be a bit painful at first cos it's been a while... Just throw in some lubricant and u r good to go.
U r in charge of ur body.... No let fear keep u from enjoying ur do!.

What of those that gave birth through cs? in how many weeks or months time will I be ready to do the do? cos the way hubby glue to my back at night nowadays tire me ooo, the rain is not even helping, he has been promising to be fit and all when I am ready and I am scared of the D-day. He is following me to my next post natal appointment so as to know if he can try the stuff or not...
Note:he didn't touch me all thru pregnancy....

my baby also had jaundice, we discovered it after she was 8days old.. I started using unripe pawpaw soaked in water for her, two baby spoons three times daily, we bathe her with it and also do the early morning sun stuff and it cleared within a week, but your baby is a month old already so it is better you take her to the hospital for proper treatment since you didn't detect early.... Wishing you baby speedy recovery

Bleeding is normal. It should stop completely btw 4 and 6 weeks
Loss of weight is normally. I assume you're exclusively breastfeeding, that's where all your food is going

I am a new mom, I gave birth to a beautiful princess, I actually ported from the pregnancy thread.

I had my girl through cs two weeks ago and I am still bleeding(not as heavy as it was a week ago) , I don't know if this is normal cos anytime I take something hot, the blood comes out more.
Also, I am losing weight rapidly, I am almost at my pre pregnancy weight, is this also normal cos I eat a lot but I am not gaining weight... am I ok or should I complain to my doctor about this two issues bothering me

As for lactating I started day 3. I took so much tea and pap till my brain started swimming in my head. Also took mother's milk tea but I don't know where you can buy that one. Also put the baby to breast so she can suck it out

Birth story PRT 2

Fast forward to 35weeks, I couldn't cope with going to work again because I was so heavy and I looked so swollen all over, I could eat for Africa...
by the time I got to 36weeks, I couldn't walk far distance again, when I got to 37weeks, I had this energy and I cleaned up the whole house and worked vigorously cos I was tired of being pregnant and I wanted the baby out..
31st of April, I started having contractions oo but I managed till 2nd of may, but I wanted a May 4th baby because of his big brother so they share the same month and date but for where.... I saw my doctor on the 3rd and he did scan and he was like madam, go and meet your gynecologist and tell him to book you down cos your pelvic is closed and your baby is overdue... I was wheeled into the labor room and I was making jest of all the women shouting, by the time contractions came upon me it was too late cos my gynecologist had closed for work..
So I went to meet my doctor and he said he was going to deliver the baby since he knew how the whole pregnancy started but I was not progressing, I was stuck at 2cm for hours and I started bleeding ooo, he just prepped me for Cs and he called the junior doctors to assist him... Na so my Oreoluwa came out screaming her lungs and sucking her fingers ooo

I thank you all for the mom's here in the house for all their support and encouragement...

Birth story

Lemme quickly share now that my baby is sleeping
Last year July, dh kept pressuring me to remove the jadelle family planning I was using so I could get pregnant by December if there was going to be any delay in me getting pregnant again and our son needed a playmate too.
Na so I went to the hospital to remove it by 8th of August and we' did the do' on the 13th, I started falling sick immediately, I used a lot of antibiotics and malaria drugs but I was not improving so dh took me to the pharmacy when I was teasing him I was pregnant to buy pregnancy testing kit, I used it when I got home and it came out positive

I was kinda down because I was jobless and I was still job hunting so I went to the hospital to see my doctor for scan and he told me that baby was not growing for a 11weeks foetus and if it doesn't improve by next week we were going to flush it away and I should stop using the anti biotic.... immediately my husband placed his hands on my stomach and started praying for a miracle, I went in for scan again and my doctor said how come this baby changed within a week and he was like madam leave this baby ooo but we will keep monitoring her.

I got a job by September and I was devastated cos I was pregnant and I had to spend a year before anything like maternity leave or I would be sacked so I kept wearing over sized clothes to hide my tummy but for where... the bump just kept growing every day but at the end of the day, GOd blessed with a nice bosses and they all covered me up

BIRTH STORY!

I started having period like cramps from 6pm yesterday then at 8pm hubby noticed the cramps was 20mins apart and told me it was contraction. Me I didn't even know sef! So at 10pm it started being kind of painful until I had to tell my hubby let's go to the hospital maybe the doctors will give me pain medication so we can come back but on getting to the hospital the doctor examined me and said I was 2cm gone so the nurse told me to just wait by 11pm I was progressing so they told hubby to go and bring hospital bag. Was even surprised sef cos I thought we would go back home that night. The contraction became more frequent around 1am, I will tell my hubby rub my waist and later I will say leave it who send you I even went naked and he tried to cover me up na so I fling the cloth and by past 2am I felt as if something was pushing me. I was just shouting nurse something is pushing me, she no believe she said let her just examine me all for her to shout doctor see baby's head and I was told to push and in 3pushes baby came out crying couldn't even hold her cos I was bleeding eh. The nurses was even surprised that for a first baby it was that easy for me. Only for the devil to show his ugly head, I started bleeding seriously and the doctor said it must have been a cervical tear, they had to call the gynaecologist. Inshort, I now know there is just a thin line between Life and death. We just have to live right each day. Mamas I saw stars! I thank God for putting the devil to shame and saving me. He gave me victory and I give Him all the glory. My baby's name is Osarieme meaning na God give me. (Edo state)
