I can't believe I missed out this question. I am so sorry.

Well my advice is ...why change the profession you are already established in ? I.T is lucrative but like you said it is like a reset button for you which is a bit of a gamble.
Your husband is ok although he would have to get certification before he can practise in US. Hustling in US is ok as far as you know what you are doing. Do what you guys are great in. Experience in teaching will get you a job faster compared to having to go start IT from the beginning. First make sure you have a regular income to take care of the family before trying your hands o new things.

It may not be that easy as expected in your first year but if your husband can work hard and at the same time you return to school for IT program, it will all end up in praise.
As a plumber who is not lazy, your husband can be making average or $2k monthly here in Chicago without professional certificate. Your immediate success also depends on who your family will be living with in America when you arrive.

Thanks a lot, this is so helpful
you don't know how happy I am.
Hubby is not a lazy man...Na to look for person wey we go stay with for the first six weeks

On one thread you said your husband is a plumber now you're saying he's an engineer. Anyways, my advice:make sure you are migrating legally.

All the best!

thanks dear, I will

I want to migrate legally, I don't want anything that will involve illegal stuff

@golden boy

I stumbled across your thread at the right time
I need advice badly

My husband and I with our two kids wants to move to us permanently,he does not have a professional certificate but he works with Lagos State for now as a plumber..

I just got a job with Lagos State too as an education officer.. I don't know if I should leave the job and start afresh by going back to school for an iT program in the US while he looks for a job over there ,we are living quite comfortable here and I won't want a situation where we would start hustling in another man's country.

We are both novice when it comes to this kind of stuff... Pls kindly advise what to do

Note :He has a friend who is a citizen and his willing to help us with accomdation till he gets a job over there.

I'm currently using Heinz fruit and yoghurt porridge, she loves it a lot. I bought the Heinz Apple and oat porridge but she didn't seem quite as interested so I'm just sticking to the one she loves. No energy to try out new things for now for fear of wasting money. Some other brands also have cereal for 4months+ Just check the baby food aisle. Always make sure u buy the ones with 4+ written on the pack.

thanks ma, I am just seeing this, my phone has been faulty all this while... I have tried heinz apple and pears and she is not taking it

when my baby was having catarrh just like your baby, I did everything you mentioned here but none worked, I stopped applying rub or silverbird even in her oil, all I did was taking 400g of vitamin c(the white tablet) and pregnacare newmom every day so she can suck it from me cos I abandoned the vitamin c I was giving her and it really helped... I hope it works for you..

Hello momma
how una dey enjoy August breeze?
My dd has totally refused taking bottle, expressed breast milk oo, formula ooo, she doesn't want
There's nobody to feed her apart from me, the day I took her to grandma's to help me out while I excused myself, Na war she take drink 50ml, I have resorted to give her with a spoon and cup, she takes 120ml every 2hr30mins, I have changed her milk thinking she got tired of the taste instead she had rashes and stooled 5times daily, so I jejely changed back to Nan, I changed the teat and her bottle, for where? Na spoon feeding we dey do now, I can't just wait for her to be 6 months so I can give her other food and introduce milk for her in a sippy cup

Its cuz she's seeing a better option closeby cheesy give someone else to feed her and keep trying or you can buy an electric breast pump and express more if you have the means of storing it or the energy.

I have gone gangsta on her but she refused... I am thinking of changing her formula, she takes Nan, I don't know if I should change to aptamil and see if she likes it
