Tissaia:
U know without the Army BH will come after us. So sharaap
is BH not already killing civilians? Are civilians not already the biggest casualties and victims of BH? So no story again. The government should give the people their weapons to defend themselves if they can't do it, instead of handing over gun trucks and other heavy assault weapons and equipment to terrorists all the time. There was a time news would report stories like, BH attacks community or villages 300km from maiduguri, then gradually it was getting closer like 80km from maiduguri, now they have reached maiduguri. Who knows what's next. Trillions of naira has been spent on the army for this BH war, yet the Army is being rescued by police officers. Don't you think something is critically wrong somewhere?
PoliticsRe: Police Rescue Soldiers After Boko Haram Attack In Borno by Openbusiness3: 11:15am On Jul 15, 2020

tesppidd:
Do you really know the meaning of recurrent expenditure?

If you do you'd never make this comment.
do you know the meaning of a government using 90% of its budget to run itself and pay itself fat overbloated salaries to live like kings and gods while they continue to plunge their country into endless debts, and tax their citizens and businesses to death? Have you thought about it that maybe because your govt recurrent expenditure is about 90% of its annual budget is the main reason why your country Nigeria is a legendary SHITHOLE country grin
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Earned $206bn From Oil In Five Years – OPEC by Openbusiness3: 8:26am On Jul 15, 2020
IpobAntidote:
Do you even know that this is a small change when it's all distributed to all the States? DO you know that all these will simply go towards recurrent expenditures and almost nothing left for Capital projects. Nigeria and most States are spending about 80 to 90 percent of their income paying salaries and other recurrent expenditures thereby leaving only 10 percent for Capitals projects, hence they end up borrowing for Capital projects.
For a country of 200 Million people, this is NOTHING. If the population were to be about 5 to 10 million, then you can say the country is rich.
why is govt recurrent expenditure 80 to 90%. Is that not a useless hopeless government? grin

CrimeRe: Fahin Saleh Found Murdered In New York Apartment by Openbusiness3:
shocked judging from the way he was killed, they should extend their investigation to Nigeria, just saying.... Some people are wicked oh, pure evil sad

Modified:
I can see so many mentions saying rubbish. Let me tell you, judging from the way he was murdered, it is highly likely it had to do with huge money or business dealings gone wrong. The guy is a tech guy, his company GoKada is a Nigerian company based in Nigeria. I'm not saying the killer or whoever hired the killer is a Nigerian. Is it only Nigerians living in Nigeria, or is it only Nigerians that are business investors in Nigerian companies? The killer contractor could be from anywhere, including Nigeria. That I suggested they should extend their investigation to Nigeria is obviously a no-brainer for criminal investigators. Whether I suggest or not, intelligent criminal investigators will beam their searchlight on his business dealings in Nigeria to see if there's any connection. Please don't quote me if don't have sense. So calling for proper investigation dey pain una? Maybe they should investigate u people too grin
