So we are now back to the adesina days where insecurity will be compared to that of other countries!
I always knew this administration will finally use stale tact as a needless excuse to coverup for their obvious ineptitude!

A serious president will provide solutions and corresponding action to curb insecurity not making excuses by comparing figures with that of other countries!

How will the naira appreciate when we are import dependent while the only thing we export is a raw material called crude oil!
We are clearly and undeniably a consuming country!

Even the companies that are trying to stay afloat are bedeviled with insecurity, multiplicity of taxes, inconsistent to zero power supply, high cost of transport....
The only thing this government knows is to share monies extravagantly which we don't even have while the legislative arm is practically a slave to the executive!
As for the judiciary, the less said about them the better!

I blame some Nigerians who instead of voting in a personality that will make a positive impact to our fortunes decides to toe the path of religion and tribalism to bring in a dull.ardinho who even refused to have a debate which was a first sign that he had nothing to offer!

One thing is certain, everyone no matter your political affiliation will suffer from this monumental failure called Tinubu aka balablu whose first blunder was to float a worthless currency hoping that it will miraculously gain value against other superior and powerful currencies around the world!

Some of the decisions of the Refs and VAR have so far been horrendous!
That was never a red card on but when you discover that one of the two ref officials at VAR had headbutted robertson last season while the other has had a personal beef with Klopp, you would now understand why they refused to inform the onfield ref to go to the monitor and check if it was actually a red card offence!
Overall, very fortunate we got a win!

Read on the Chelsea thread he might be interchanging btw a back 3 or back 4 and he plans to use the midfield trio of lavia , caicedo and enzo ... either one of lavia or caicedo would be playing as a cm ... I think CHELSEA plans to sell gallagher which would open up space in the midfield...

which ever ways, except lavia rises up in the pecking order, he's going to sit on the bench and that would make his decision stupid ...

I haven't heard about a fofana from Monaco ...

Ballzproblem2:
Enzo is going to play as 8/10 giving lavia and caicedo to play double pivot.

stop playing πŸ˜‚.

Btw who is deceiving that clown that caicedo agent talked to Liverpool, Chelsea made bid for lavia therefore angering Liverpool ,so in retaliation they decided to spend their entire budget for caicedo therefore missing out on Lavia and that Brazilian DM.

Guy if you want to attack or insult someone,be bold to direct it to the person with your full chest!
And yes i can confirm it through sources close to Brighton Fc and the agent of Caicedo!
Even the Brighton CEO explained it today in detail about what transpired!
Even one of the world's transfer news guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Caicedo agent had assured LFC that if they could come up with the transfer value of Brighton for caicedo which is a 100m with an additional 11m,they would get Caicedo since Chelsea were foot dragging and pricing like a stingy market woman!

Yes i admit that Liverpool F-ed up with the Lavia deal which should have been concluded before attempting to purchase Caicedo!
The Brazilain DM Andre is complicated because fluminese dont want to sell him until January next year unless Liverpool can come up with an addition fund to get him now!

Ballzproblem2:

That is what transpired ,how will an agent offered you player that is not interested in joining your club πŸ˜’,they think.

Liverpool had already bagged lavia but they disrespected him by going for caicedo , only to lose both!
Agents are the mouthpiece of a player and if the agent said LFC had the greenlight to get him, they had to bid above the transfer value!
Unfortunately,Caicedo himself who had been a lifelong fan of Chelsea during his teens had already set his sight on going to standford bridge!
The same thing played out with Gakpo who was supposed to go to manutd after agreements had been made just like that of caicedo but the manutd were foot dragging like Chelsea and when Liverpool inquired about the availability of Gakpo through his agents, they gave LFC the greenlight and the rest is history!

Once again LFC didnt manage the aspect of Lavia very well and from all indications, they never felt he was worth 50m and Lavia has every right to feel disrespected but choosing to play at Chelsea just to spite LFC was not a smart decision on his part!

Shit happens and lessons have been learnt!
They are not the only DMs in the world...we Move #LFC#

Did lavia really reject us .. Thought we newly made 60m bid ..

lavia would be stupid to go to Chelsea after they've acquired caicedo .. he wan go sit for bench ...

na mugu if he allows his feelings gets the bette of him ...

well if he doesn't want us ,we don't want him too. ..

krunic is available .. Andre too is .. we can convince fluminese to sell ...

Or better still finds a way to invert Trent into that midfield whilst using a back 3 .. I'd like very much for KLOPP to use this if we don't eventually get a DM this transfer window
I still don't understand why he would want to go to a club that already has a recognised DM and I don't see poch playing to DMs in a game!
Well best of luck to him!

BlackManta:

Lavia has now rejected us sad

And I don't blame him at all. This is all our fault. We spent 3 weeks haggling over price with Southampton when Lavia wanted to join us and Chelsea hadn't entered the race yet.

Southy wanted 50m and we bid only 46m. Only to go after Caicedo all of sudden, showing everyone including Southampton that we had 111m to spend on a DM.

Imagine how Lavia felt watching us trying to sign Caicedo.
Chelsea beat us to Caicedo and now they have hijacked Lavia, a player that initially wanted to join us.

Lavia has every right to reject us.

We are not a serious club.

Lavia would have been a Liverpool player since last week if we had paid the 50m price tag.
We wanted to pay 46m instead.

Imagine missing out on a homegrown DM who wanted to join us because of ordinary 4m.

This is embarrassing.

Now we are back to square one.

What do we do?

Who do we sign?

This transfer window has been horrible for us.

What were we doing when Fabinho was about to leave?

We should have sorted out a new DM even before Fabinho left our club.

Klopp, Jorge Schatdke and FSG are responsible for this mess.

Transfer window closes in 2 weeks and every club knows we are desperate.

I'm absolutely disappointed in the way we've conducted our business these past few weeks.

The new technical director Jorge Schatdke is a complete slowpoke.

Take me back to the days of Michael Edwards in charge of our transfer business.

I miss that man every day.
Firstly, blaming a manager who is not in control of recruitment is totally unfair and misplaced!
A manager gives a specific on which player he wants and its the duty of the cruitment team and the board to do their job while klopp concentrates on prepping his players for matches!

Secondly,Liverpool recruitment team were not really to be blame for what transpired with caicedo though I could blame them for that of Latvia!

Caicedo agent had informed LFC about Chelsea's slow pace in landing caicedo transfer fee and assured Liverpool that if they could meet up with the fee, caicedo would definitely choose Liverpool.... That why LFC made that outrageous bid for caicedo!
However, the player himself who had been a childhood fan of Chelsea insisted that Chelsea was the club that he desired to go to!
We all know the rest!
In all honest,we can conclude that caicedo agent deceived the recruitment team of Liverpool to think caicedo was available!
Lavia own case was where I blame LFC recruitment team....they should have bought lavia first before thinking of getting another player knowing that we had no recognised DM!
Well that's the past!
Still less than 2 weeks before the window closes, hence nothing is lost yet!
There is fluminese Andre
There is benfica florentino Luis
There is fofana from Monaco
And many DMs available!
The recruitment team needs to learn their lessons, and get the right players to bolster the squad!
We need a DM and a CB!
No need thinking about Edwards anymore!
Forward ever,backwards never!

What an interesting battle in the transfer tussle between LFC and Chelsea cheesy cheesy
Chelsea had bid thrice to purchase caicedo from Brighton after they had agreed terms while LFC did the same for Romeo lavia but Chelsea wanted to be smarter by half by intruding and stealing lavia from LFC by bidding close to Southampton's valuation of lavia!
But like a poker game,LFC bounced back by bidding 100m pounds for caicedo hence meeting Brighton's valuation of caicedo and outsmarting Chelsea!

I feel gutted that LFC would want to sell fabinho but looking at his age and the temptation of Saudi monies as retirement plans,I can only bid him farewell and goodluck!
He is already a club legend who won everything for LFC!
LFC needs to add an extra 50m to the potential 40m for fabinho to quickly steal caicedo from Chelsea!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by openmine(m): 6:44am On Jul 14, 2023
I cannot comprehend this constant sanctimonus bs coming from the confused 'sunbow' association Lgbtq+trash about Hendo taking up the offer of playing in the Saudi league!
So why are they accepting oil monies coming from owners that come from the same middle east?
So they expect players not to enjoy such windfall directly from source?
For Christ sake,Hendo is 33 and arriving the end of his sterling career having won everything at club level hence its time to think about his retirement plans which the Saudi league is offering him!
Who can reject 700k pounds per week with reduced tax cut unlike the UK tax?
Even those forming moral high grounds will jump at the offer if the opportunity was presented to them....smh

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Liverpool FC Sign Dominik Szoboszlai From RB Leipzig by openmine(m): 5:08pm On Jul 02, 2023
The Hungary midfielder becomes the Reds’ second new addition of the summer window after agreeing terms and successfully completing a medical, following in the footsteps of Alexis Mac Allister.

Szoboszlai arrives at Anfield after two-and-a-half years in the Bundesliga with Leipzig, where he made 91 appearances in all competitions.

The 22-year-old told Liverpoolfc.com during his first interview at the AXA Training Centre: β€œIt’s really, really good. I enjoyed the last [few] days and I’m looking forward to knowing everybody better.

β€œThe last three or four days went really long; it was not that easy. But at the end I’m here, I’m happy and I can’t wait to get started.

β€œ[A] really historic club, really good players, good coach, everything is good. For me it was perfect to make the next step in a club like this. The fans, the stadium, everything is really good.”

Szoboszlai is a product of the youth development system at Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.

He made his professional debut for their sister club, FC Liefering, in July 2017 and would go on to tally 33 runouts and 10 goals during the campaign.

A return to his parent club prior to the end of 2017-18 would see Szoboszlai claim his Salzburg bow as a substitute against Austria Vienna in the May.

He went on to score 26 goals in 83 appearances for Salzburg, featuring against Liverpool twice – home and away – in the 2019-20 Champions League group stage. He was also named the Austrian Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2019-20.

A transfer to Leipzig followed in January 2021; however, injury delayed his first appearance for his new club until the start of 2021-22.

From there, Szoboszlai featured 91 times, scored 20 goals and notched 22 assists in all competitions, helping the Bundesliga club to successive DFB-Pokals in 2022 and 2023.

At international level he has 32 caps and seven goals for Hungary, having made his bow in March 2019 against Slovakia.

Szoboszlai was elected as captain of his country in November 2022, voted for by his teammates and coach Marco Rossi.

On a first message for his new supporters, Szoboszlai added: β€œThat I can’t wait to see you in the stadium and I’m going to do everything that is possible from my side.”

And Szoboszlai has selected to wear the No.8 jersey that was previously used for five seasons by Naby Keita before his departure from Anfield this summer.

Keita was the first to take the shirt for the club after it was vacated in 2015 by Steven Gerrard, who wore it for 11 seasons of his iconic Liverpool career.
