As much as it hurts to say this esp being an LFC fan,i must admit that Mancity were by far the best team this season and Pep deserves to be crowned the best manager in europe!
They have done very well this season and deserve their maiden UCL trophy!
Inter tried but they lacked the team work to get over the line with their near perfect tactics which i must say almost took out mancity!
Well-done Mancity!

Liverpool have rejected the notion of selling Carvalho and will only entertain loan deals!
However, if the club is left with no option than selling,a buy back clause will be inserted!

The few times I watched him play that role,he did very well because of his electrifying pace!
I guess his lack of concentration and positional play have been his 'Achilles heels' and might cost him a place in the first 11 next season!
As for Calvin,he just can't seem to get over his consistent injuries!
He has spent more time with the doctors than being on the pitch and it can be psychologically demoralizing!

What I heard is, Liverpool are looking at Conor Bradley as the RB option. And putting Trent in Midfield has nothing to do with buying a RB. We have one in Joe Gomez. Klopp can tweak tactics but he doesn't want to. His rigidity cost us this season.

Milner very old and gone
Chamberlain inconsistent,not good enough and spends more time with the doctors
Keita very old(forget his official age),inconsistent and injury prone
Fabinho still within competitive age but needs competition
Thiago good but aging slightly,always injury prone and cannot be relied on...maybe a backup midfielder!
Let's be honest,klopp won't change his stance about using his formation that has won him all the laurels with LFC!
He just needs quality midfielders next season that can effectively play his kind of formation and you will be shocked by future results!

Gomez regularly have slip ups at RB than at CB ..

KLOPP had better get sense this coming season .. he better gets a couple of quality midfielders or better still integrate trent imto the midfield

Gomez is even more effective as a RB than his preferred role in defence!
My problem with Gomez in that RB role might be his limited ability to cross!
Klopp is not the one buying players,there is a recruitment team for that!
Klopp will ask to get a player and its left for the club to decide if they have the funds to purchase!
If it were left for klopp,he would have gotten Barrella and caicedo in the team this season!

I'd say klopp tweaks his formation to accomodate trent. A three man at d back where trent becomes a wing back and can operate 4rm d midfield better...

Don't be too sure about your assertions!
Secondly,klopp getting midfielders for next season doesn't imply TAA cannot be used in that role!
The three man defence was just an experiment that caught everyone unaware but with lots of risk if used frequently next season!
What the experiment has uncovered is that TAA can adequately and efficiently play the role of an attacking midfielder which we haven't had for a while esp after the exit of coutinho!
My opinion is that we get at least one DM,CM and a RB while klopp tweaks the midfield to accommodate TAA as part of his strategy next season!
TAA is obviously not a RB and that was too obvious this season!

We just need 2 more midfielders possibly Caecedo and Macalister then a very good right full back!

Robertson was gotten around 2017...It's been 5 years and the market has gotten crazier...You also neglected to mention that Hull City was relegated which further cheapened him..
Also, he didn't walk into our starting 11, he was meant to be Moreno's competition (who picked up form) and became our Starter after Moreno's knee injury....
I'm not saying a player can't be gotten for 15m or below, I'm saying in the current football climate, getting players who are meant to walk into the starting 11 for that price is close to impossible...


As for our academy, it's produced some wonderful talent in times past and currently, Trent and Curtis ...
There are a few promising players in there I'm watching out for currently...Morton especially...
