Atiku knew he won't get anything against Tinubu regarding the U.S. forfeiture case. His motive was simply to drag the President’s name through the mud and generate negative publicity before the election, just as he did in 2023 with the Chicago certificate saga. In the end, nothing came of it.
Now, Tinubu’s supporters are fighting back by also dragging Atiku’s name into his past money laundering controversy to damage his reputation as well. It’s simply tit for tat.

Based on the results of the two states, Tinubu won convincingly despite not winning any of the states. That is how to win presidential election in. Nigeria. Kwakwanso was never in the race in 2023 so any vote for him has the same value as void votes. So, among the real contenders, Tinubu won kano. In 2027, Tinubu will still win Kano. KANO IS FULLY APC.
