Bros, Tinubu was not the president in 2023. Even with his own party working against him, including the naira redesign and other policies implemented before the election, he was still able to win. The same Tinubu is now the president and will oversee his own election, you believe he will lose?
As for the SE, Obi will win, but Tinubu won't get the 8,000 and 5,000 votes he got in 2023 again in Abia and Enugu states respectively, the figures will be far better in 2027. Obi won't also get those high figures either, he will be checked.

I agree to everything you said except the Makinde narrative. Makinde won't score upto 200k votes in 2027 election and 99% of the votes will come from Oyo State. In the whole of SE and SE, nobody knows Makinde and in other states of the SW, they are seeing him as a spoiler to Tinubu presidency in Oyo State. And I make bold to say, if Makinde fails to step down and support Tinubu, he will be incarcerated all through Tinubu second term and majority of Yorubas will never forgive him, same way they are treating Osibanjo for daring to contest APC primary with Tinubu

I was just saying this to those claiming that Makinde will split Tinubu’s votes in the SW. Atiku got over 180,000 votes in Oyo State in 2023, while Obi got over 91,000. Can they get those figures in 2027 with Makinde on the ballot? Nope, Makinde will get those votes, he will rather split the opposition votes.
Makinde as Atiku’s VP would have hurt Tinubu.

Obi also won the South in 2023, but he never became president. APC has structures that are spread across the country.
Atiku will win the Northern votes, with APC coming second. Don’t expect Obi to win the Southern votes as he did in 2023, the dynamics have changed. APC’s presence in the Southeast now ain't necessarily about winning the region, but about preventing the kind of irregularities witnessed in 2023 from being repeated in 2027.

Obi won’t get many votes in the North, just as Atiku will be a distant third in the South.
The Makinde presidency will even compete with Obi for the dissenting votes of Southerners who are opposed to APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.

The North may play religious politics if the Minister of Defence gets the ticket in 2031, given that the North is predominantly Muslim while the Defence Minister is a Christian.

There should be a policy to put an age limit to those who are allowed to be elected into an important offices like that of the president and NFF,anybody obove 60-65 years should not be allowed, we are not America or Europe.

Who will make this policy? Certainly not the government, because of FIFA sanctions against government interference. The NFF has structured everything to favour itself.
