Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Opesyy(m): 10:38pm On Jun 03, 2015
Yes, it can. Above the page you will see modify, print ams some other options, just click modify and go to the place of the medical, change it and click update/save. Dassal
Crich:

Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Opesyy(m): 10:27pm On Jun 03, 2015
It will because there wont be anywhere to upload the paper you get after upfront medicals, you have to go back and modify the questionnaire and it will reappear, made the same mistake
Crich:

But i think when i filled d questionnaire yday, there was a filled where i selected 'No' to a medical question.
Hope ds won't affect me if i go for d upfront med?

From my perspective, have always thought there was a quota in place, thats the only way to check the number or inflow of people into a particular provice. From my understanding, the PNP as a limit to people they can accomodote, so I believe to create a balance there as to be for Student Visas et al.
darefestus:
Hi all,

So when we talk about the now famous "quota system" , what particular quota are we talking about? Is it General institution quota? Program quota? Provincial quota? or Nationality quota?

At least if we are to assume there is quota, there has to be solid argument to support that line of thinking.

You cant renew it until it is 6 months but if you have to, you would go to the Immigration HQ with your intl passport, 2 passport photogragh and admission letter. It can be done in Abuja alone if it less than 6 months. I jusg did mine on wednesday in Abj.
JohnDuke259:

Thank you so much Bro! Yours is on the way. I will find out from immigration if I can renew it.

Check this link for list of approved hospitals http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

Good afternoon,

Please note that the Section B of the online assessment for the Graduate Trainee Program has been suspended due to a compromise of the integrity of the test.

We will communicate a new date and time when this will be redone.

We however request that you please complete the Section A before 11:59pm Monday 25th May.

Enquires will not be necessary as we will contact eligible candidates who complete Section A by Wednesday May 27th .

The level of decay and rot amongst Nigerian youths is really at an all time high!

They actually contact you if they need additional docs, I have a friend that was called to send some additional docs(Sponsors SOA) and rescan some docs cos it wasnt clear.
dbabba:

Ok I understand you, but what do they mean when they say they will contact us if additional documents are required?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Opesyy(m): 10:29am On May 22, 2015
Kindly include it if you can because It's among the requirements and nowhere was it stated that you shouldnt include it for online app. But, we have seen people who didnt submit it and still got TRV. Cheers
loswhite:
Please house, if I'm doing my application online, do I still need police clearance, cos a friend was saying if I'm doing it online I don't need. Pls I will like to knw from gurus in the house. Tanx

Whatever we say here are all based on assumption and speculations, you guyz shouldnt make it sound concrete like you're VOs. Lets not confuse people that are delayed, the delay as cofused them enough.

Have been thinking about the same thing too, I 'think' province may matter.
Team12:
I think this "family ties in Canada and Nigeria" has become a default reason for refusal o. I don't gerrit undecided

Plus I noticed most people on this forum are going to Ontario. Could it be that they have a limit to the number of people that should be accomodated in a province for a period? Why the refusal letters of late

Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Opesyy(m): 5:07pm On May 18, 2015
You can say the company is sponsoring but you have to show alot of company docs, the question is would they be willing to release all the docs?
From this thread so far,its not advicable to tick that you have a family member, afterall the family member isnt helping you in any way, 'some' that are delayed here stated they have a family member there and home tie will be ticked, so there is no need.
For the issue of payment, you may have to gt a letter from HR certifying ou receive money in cash or particular way but ensure you show your personal SOA.
The house will add other things i left out or wrong about. Cheers

Kindly presenr you SOA irrespective of the balance, atleast it will show something as been entering. You just need to explain yourself well in your SOPand prolly state t that you self sponsored yoursef for the MBA you got.
NB: Try and breakdown your questions so people dont feel reluctant to read. God bless
Crich:
I have got some years of work experience but had to spend cash doing my MBA at a Nigerian business school (quite expensive)which I earned in 2013. Out of Job for a year but just got a new job last month. I intend going for MAdmin in Leadership cos I'm vying for managerial/leadership positions. Now, I barely have cash in my account. So, my brother is sponsoring me.
Will I be required or expected to present my SOA as well since I have only worked for a month n still expecting my salary?

House, I have asked a few questions which are yet to be answered. Pls, help
Thanks
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Opesyy(m): 11:25pm On May 14, 2015
Okay, i for fear
darefestus:

He meant Applicant's personal SOA..Not Sponsor's.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Opesyy(m): 10:55pm On May 14, 2015
Brotherly, how person nack TRV without SOA? Wow! That's great
hayqinsbFX:
Inother news,
My quick summary of what I understand about canadian study visa.
There are two types of applicant.
1) simple applicants
2)complex or complicated applicants

Simple applicants- They normally get the TRV with ease without submitting what complax applicants submit.
A simple applicant has one or all of these features i) he is applying to further his education after just graduated or not long after graduation
Ii) he is sponsored by his biological parents
Iii) he is relatively young or not too old for his program of study.
Iv) no deviation from previous academic background.

2) a complex applicant- a complex applicant doesn't possess one or a combination of the above features, the often fall in the following category.
I) wide study gap
Ii) no blood relation sponsor
Iii)deviation from prevous academic quaalification.

I read a GCMS from a denied applicant and it was stated that the VO isn't convinced the applicant is a GENIUNE student. It means the VO feels there is an uterior motive to seeking a study permit than to study.

In addition and conclusion my guy that just got his TRV submitted barely 6piecies of papers after the CIC documents and he was given his TRV...
He had no SOP, no SOA, no studyleave, no employment history even if he had a year gap, no police character.
He got his TRV simply because he was a. Simple applicant...he is 21, applying for MENG oil and gas after studying oil and gas in his UG, sponsored by his father.

Am sure of this, they don't confirm balance. They call to enquire if the said applicant truly demanded and printed a SOA. They call the Banks HQ then the HQ forwards the request to the branch where the account was opened. Your balance would never be disclosed to a 3rd party.
Team12:
Please what kind of enquiries did they make? Did it include confirming the balance in SOA?
