LETTER 2 MR PRESIDENT -

Sir,wit due respect,i Think its WRONG 4 d people u lead 2 force u into sympathising and commiserating with families of ur fellow Nigerians dat were KILLED because of ur party's hustle for power in Rivers state by any means (which failed by GOD Grace),i felt even more pained wen iSaw u sympathising wit d Belgians even wen u had'nt said a word about d killings here in NIGERIA (Agatu killings and the killings in Rivers state)..Ur incensitivity is really one of the reasons Nigerians question ur ability 2 stair dis country out of watever doom u believe we're in,u can do good by looking at urself and working 2 correct some of ur very obvious flaws as my way is 2 give benefit of doubt 2 anyone irrespective of their failures,afterall..NOBODY is above MISTAKE (Time's running out 4 the excuses BTW)

Politics / Re: We Lost Because Amaechi Talk Too Much - Defeated APC House Of Rep Candidate by opia1984: 12:53pm On Mar 22, 2016
LOL Confusion in enemy's camp ok na -

Ndlistic:
The APC candidate at the Rivers state
legislative rerun election for Obio Apkor
Federal constituency at the House of
Representatives, Mr. Tony Okocha has
blamed former governor and Minister of
transportation Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi for
the parties loss in the rerun elections.
Mr. Okocha who was Chief of staff of
government house while Amaechi was
governor said this while speaking with
friends and associates shortly after the
results of the polls starting coming in
.
He blamed Amaechi for 'talking too much'
and 'exposing their plans'.

In his words;

"We lost this election because
Amaechi talks too much, Amaechi
talks too much, l never liked his
radio and TV ranting because he
was just talking before thinking.
He exposed our plans and brought
the eyes of the whole world on
Rivers State through his needless
media noise.

Even the money we asked them to
give us for the election, he said the
money would be given to us after the
election because, we used the money
he gave us for 2015 election to buy
cars.

What nonsense! He should have just
released the money then remain in
Abuja, instead of coming here to
cause more problems for us."

Those were the leaked words of
defeated Tony Okocha of the APC
while having a secret meeting
with his political associates in
Obio Akpor LGA.

FAYOSE D CAT WITH 9 LIVES -

DONSMITH123:
Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, on Monday said any attempt by President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a state of emergency in Ekiti or Rivers State would be resisted.

Fayose spoke with State House correspondents shortly after taking part in the economic retreat organised by the National Economic Council inside the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The governor said he was aware that Buhari was planning a state of emergency in Rivers State over the bloody election rerun that took place in the state over the weekend.

He said he was also aware that the President had the same plan in stock for the people of Ekiti State.

However he said if he went ahead with the plan, Buhari would be thought a lesson that power belongs to the people and not their leaders.

He said, “They have been insinuating that (state of emergency) too in Ekiti. We have been waiting for them. Power has gone beyond the leaders; power has gone back to the people.

“You want to declare state of emergency, declare it and we will tell you that the state of emergency will not work too. This country belongs to all of us.”

Fayose criticised what he called the militarisation of the Rivers rerun.

He insisted that the military has no business in electoral matters.

He urged Buhari to sustain the legacy of free and fair elections which his administration inherited.

“The military has got no business in our election.

“If you watch the trend, PDP has always won all the elections after the annulment. Which means what happened in Rivers is just a service of ego of some individuals who believe they have Nigeria in their pockets and they can call the President at will to deploy the military.

“It is unfortunate that somebody would allow the military to kill his own people.

“I strongly condemn the elections in Rivers and charge that we sustain he legacy of transparent elections.

“For me in Ekiti, we learned from that and we are prepared. We prepare for election every day and we are fully prepared,” he added.

Fayose also said the Ekiti lawmakers currently being detained by agents of the Department of State Services had further confirmed what he described as the rascality of the agency of government.

He said it was unfortunate that the Federal Government would decide to look away and allow innocent Nigerians’ rights to be trampled upon.
