Who has experienced suicide first hand, how did the victims mother feel?

Are suicide notes neccesary? What should be the content?

Answer should strictly be to the questions, no advice or questions. Bless you.
You might think this is all fun and games but it is not funny. Grab a hold of yourself and stop playing to the gallery of deception that suicide will give you validation and recognition. It won't.

People might be devasted for a few months, but guess what? Life will continue.

Family › 7 Tips For Overcoming Shyness On World Introvert Day by Opinionated(op): 2:10pm On Jan 02, 2019
Today, January 2, is World Introvert Day. We are sharing with you these tips for overcoming shyness as an Introvert as written by Joel Annesley.

1. Avoid negative labels. Labels can build you up or destroy you; choose the label that empowers you instead of tears you down. Think Quietly Confident instead of Shy.

2. Look within. The key to finding your true self is to look within and to celebrate who you really are. Practice non-judgemental awareness, self-compassion and loving kindness for the beautiful person you are inside and the way you see the world.

3. Stop overthinking everything. Overthinking and shyness go hand-in-hand. Overthinking leads to indecisiveness, mental exhaustion and self-defeating, negative thoughts. The solution is to learn how to outsmart your overthinking.

4. Find your safe place. When you develop your safe environment, a place where you can be free to be vulnerable, you will have no need to overthink things. When you slowly expand this environment, your Quiet Confidence will also expand and grow.

5. Find your tribe. Spend time with those who build you up, and support and encourage you unconditionally to express yourself.

6. Find a creative outlet. Developing and expressing your creative passions can lead you to become a Subject Matter Expert, which will help you will naturally become more confident.

7. Develop positive body talk. Confidence doesn’t have to be verbal. Becoming aware of, and adjusting, your body language, posture and physical appearance can provide you with instant confidence.

ObservantFellow:
I had this boy who had problems adjusting to J.S.S.1 class. His mother approached me for him to start lessons with me to brush him up with Maths and English to see if he can slot seamlessly into school life. I charged her 4k per month. Besides Maths and English, I added behavioural/social instructions to boost his self esteem and ease his adaptation process. You wouldn't believe I continued the lessons for the boy throughout his J.S.S.1 class without receiving a dime from her. She kept telling me stories over money issue until I got tired of asking. But I never sent the boy away for a day. Instead, the time I didn't see him for a while, I went to their residence and his mom said she asked him to stop since she couldn't afford it. I told her not to do so. And the boy resumed. I was secretly deriving joy from watching him improve and blend in with school demands. He was fit as a fiddle and coping with school stuffs when we concluded the exercise this August. The woman prayed well for me but I believed seeing the boy do well with school work was enough reward.
Fastforward to this December, I 'priced' some toys for my boys and promised to come for them later. I never knew the toys were sold by the woman but handed them over to someone else to sell for her. Word got to her that I wanted to buy some and before I would finish unwinding that day at home, the toys arrived along with watches, sunglasseses and other kids paraphernalia. Wow. I was speechless. It became my turn to thank her profusely and pray for her too. Lol
One good turn...

LESSON : sometimes you need to see others like your brothers rather that fighting them over coins

to some stingy people, they will say she emotionally blackmailed him and call her all sort of names, she will probably slap him, he will retaliate by beating her blue black, police will arrest him and spend far more. please lets love one another for a better society.

I have a similar experience to share. It happened this years.

There is this woman in my locality, she sells raw plantains and roasted ones by the road side.
The woman was looking for a tutor to help her son in Physics and Mathematics for summer class because he performed poorly in the previous exams.

A friend introduced me to her. As per say I don't have a job, I decided to take it up. I did not want take it up initially because I was skeptical about the ability of the woman to pay considering that she is a petty trader..

I charged her 15k monthly, but she begged me to accept 5k, and promised to introduce two other students to me, so the total will be 15k since the student's will be coming to my house. Since it would last for a month I decided to accept. The students would be coming 3 times in a week. So, the lesson started with the 3 students. I was happy because I felt at least I would make 15k from it.

Now about 2 weeks after the lesson commenced, one of the students stopped coming. So, it was just only two students that attended the lesson until it ended.

Now time to get paid. The woman started giving me stories. Meanwhile In my mind I had concluded that the boy that left half way would not pay, so I was hoping to get just the 10k..

Two weeks after, while passing around the spot where she sells, she called me and paid 5k, and begged me to be patient for the remaining 5k as she would not like to pay me bit by bit.

After some weeks again, she saw me and said the parent of the other boy was only able to give her 3k out of the money and promised to pay the rest in the following week. I did not say anything much.

The following day, I learnt the last son of that woman had an accident and his left leg was broken. And that she had already spent so much of money at the hospital.

I felt so bad about the news because I was wondering where the woman would get money to take care of the child at the hospital... the following week she saw me, called me, trying to explain why she has not paid me.. before she even land I just told her not to worry about the money, that I heard about what happen to her son.. I cannot explain the look on her face that day.
Great story. Sometimes, it is the little things that break people's spirits not a N1 million debt for example.

By Abdulkabir Olatunji

I boarded a Keke Marwa yesterday in Lagos for a distance I knew was not worth more than N50. It was driven by a lady and at that point, I was her only passenger (she probably just started work in the evening) a few metres into the journey she announced: “Oga, it is N100 O”. I responded, “it is N50”. She went on: “It is end of the year”, I insisted “No O, it is N50”. Her next line was “Oga as you big reach (checking myself to see the ‘bigness’), “you suppose dey use am to thank God for the end of the year”. I kept quiet to conserve my energy, depending on the side of me she was talking to, I could give her N50 or the N100, I had change, so, she did not have leverage of giving me any amount she liked as change.

As she picked one more passenger along the way, my rational self insisted that ‘the fare is worth N50, give her N50’. As I alighted from the tricycle, I gave her N50. The look on her face was beyond despondent, “close to depression and almost in tears”, she said: “Oga, I have told you now”. I handed over N100 to her and collected the N50, immediately I received and upbeat “thank you”.

While I know the fare was worth no more than N50, the additional N50 I paid was not worth the woman’s depression over it.

In our simple interactions in life, there are always reasons to be introspective and ways to learn. While I am not convinced that she would go hungry without the additional N50, her heart was heavily set on it and that I understood and respected for whatever it was worth to her.

The New Year is just few days away, so it’s time to make the most of it. At this time of the year, you must have done a proper review of the year. But if you are yet to do that, it is not too late.

Reviewing the year is not just to remind you of your achievements and shortcomings but to help you kick off your New Year’s career on the right foot and here is how to get started.

List your achievements

Think of the best three to five things you accomplished this year and write them down. You must have achieved those goals because you did something spectacular or improved your skills or began a new behavioral pattern. Whatever you did to achieve those goals should be listed as your strength.

List your shortcomings

After doing this, you should also state three to five goals you could not achieve and why. When you become familiar with why you were unable to achieve those goals, you can make those reasons your weaknesses. Write out those weakness and draw up a plan to manage your weaknesses.

Create a Plan

Now that you are familiar with your strengths and weaknesses, it is time to write out your New Year goals and seek for ways to maximize your strength to achieve more. If you need to acquire more skills to do more in the coming year, you should begin the training process now.

This is also the right time to create a plan on managing your weaknesses such that they can be used to achieve your goals.

Brace yourself for the next level.

Success is opportunity meet preparation – Zain Asher

The world is evolving really fast and you cannot afford to be left behind. The end of the year is a great time to look ahead and figure out what you need to start doing to prepare you for the changes that may occur in your professional, financial, social and personal life.
