bukolaakin: Good morning house. Please i need opinions of gurus in the house.
I have my interviewed booked for 18th of Feb but it is highly unlikely that i will be able to fund before or few weeks after. My funds is short of 900k Naira which I have an option of a loan facility from a credit company but the interest scares me (3.9% per month).
Another angle is that I have 2 boys and I plan to bring them over afterwards. My fear is that repaying a loan while working in Germany might affect the timeline I have to bring my boys over.
I am considering cancelling my appointment and reapplying during winter semester. That time my funds will be ready and I won't need any loan.
Please I need good advice as I am in a state of confusion. Thank you. Please don't cancel. Anything can happen from now till few weeks after your interview. Also, do you trust yourself enough not to spend the money before winter? What of unforeseen circumstances? . I believe 900K is realizable even without the loan option. Try more individuals and sell something if you must. But if you must cancel the interview date, do it at least a week beforehand. If your school can defer the admission, then that's fine. |

Bastelbastel: Good evening everybody. I am new here. Thanks for making this platform worth visiting. I have gotten a lot of information here that have really helped me.
I secured admission to study Micro and Nano Technology for the summer semester in Munich. So yesterday night I sent a letter to the embassy to book appointment for visa and I got a response this afternoon.
My schools resumes on the 15.03.2019 but my appointment is scheduled for 28.02.2019. Now my questions are there;
How long does it take to get a response from the embassy after the interview?
can my school influence it so that I can get an appointment for an earlier date so I can meet up with the resumption date? has anyone here such an experience before? Please i would like to know.
I will appreciate every response given here. thanks You don't know how lucky you are. Your enrolment deadline is the main thing. Check what it is. You can also write to the school for an enrolment extension. |

hebrahyzzle: How did you go with the process of creating a blocked account or getting a sponsorship letter If you don't have anyone in Germany, you might as well forget about the sponsorship letter option and focus on blocked account. I opened my blocked account online on Fintiba.com After filling a couple of forms and uploading a number of documents which will be verified in the space of 24hrs, they will send you form containing your new account details to which €8640 will be transferred (excluding bank charges and their own service charge). You can fund before or after the interview but you won't get the visa till you complete the funding because the confirmation of complete funding is among the documents required by the German embassy. |

bujebudanu1: Toelf cost just 40k . contact ponpon/Brabit for your registration.
Bymafit is 45k .check if the promo is still on Are you very sure that's the registration cost and not the lecture cost? Just went to verify and it seems it changes each passing year and is also dependent on the Forex rate. The lowest price I saw is $165. |

smokers: please can anyone refer me to a centre where you registered for toefl and how much did you pay.
I already have proficiency in English letter from my school just trying to be safer by writing toefl I'd recommend IELTS. They have rest dates in every month so you pick a date, prepare, write the exam and get your result 14 working days after. Registration can be done online via the British Council website. Both IELTS and TOEFL cost N75K though. |

fluxyn: Hey all. Been a while. This is just to motivate everyone here. Don’t give up. I started reading up on NL by March which was when I decided to come to DE. Renewed passport, applied for school, got rejections and later got admission to Kassel to study the course I wanted.
Interview went well, collection of visa became wahala with 2 extension gotten from my school, old passport was stamped and then I had to wait for process again while mailing school and alien office with good response and support from them. Naija embassy frustrated me but all in all. I got my visa, am in DE, missed 3 days of lecture but I am to the pace now. We are Nigerians and can pick up. It’s safe here and everything works
Ps. Delete your torrent app before coming here as this can get you a fine of 950 euro or more.
Be focused don’t give up and please you all should read. This forum has too many information. All you need is here. Stop asking what school Let this site be your friends Master portal Daad.de GOOGLE. You can ask few things from the visa stage but all in all my advice is put effort and you will come out great. I have met people here that used agent and got courses they don’t want and now they don’t even know how to apply. I explained in my little way but told them I can’t start applying for you here. All man busy for him own lane. All blacks that see you will greet you. We r minority and always happy to see someone of your skin colour ( for my city) I am always available to give little info I can. Am just a month in DE. One love guyz God bless you so much for this. How have you been finding the course so far? Please I'm trying to mail you as I'm a Kassel (MSc Nanoscience) prospective student. |

Ogoonna: Hello house, I couldn’t meet up with the summer semester fr my sch so i asked them for an extension to the next semester but they only sent me a one page letter admitting me for the winter semester starting July. Which is unlike the summer admission letter where they sent me (2 pages )stating everything and and even where the exam would be conducted and all and a map of the state. My question is do i ask the sch to send me another admission letter for winter semester Just like the (2pages) one they sent me for summer semester or would this new extension letter be enough?? Thank you Ask the school to send you everything sendable o. Explain to them the previous encounter you had with the embassy concerning incomplete admission letter. This is like a fresh admission since you deferred, not just an extension. Better safe than sorry. |

SyberKate: Okay so you are saying I can ask the HR in my company or CEO to request for it? Yes. That would work. Don't opt for student/unofficial copy because though it's cheap, it may not be tenable for enrollment. What I did was to get a contact in my school who helped apply (to the registry) for the transcript. It was just to make the payment and give them the necessary details including the person (your CEO perhaps) and company address you want it delivered to. |

Sam8850: I'd have to go to Abuja as I am in Lagos.
I will use the next 2 days to explore every possible outcome to get a date in the German embassy before I try that.
Thanks man, I appreciate! Okay. Please keep checking. When my mum booked 2 weeks ago, only 2 days were available in Feb (13th & 14th). And not a single date in March. Where did the days after that vanish to then? Only them know. And I saw Feb 12th, 13th but no 14th yesterday. Seems there's no clear-cut pattern. |
