swagifted: there are many conditions that determines that, the condition of the soil,... The condition of the manure used for land preparation, the type of fertlizer used and the rational used in applying it... And last but not the least, the time left underground, some people live dia ginger unharvested for up to two years... If you ask me why, i swear i don't even know.. Expect one bag to produce 4 bags and above... Bro its good to see all you accomplished in just a few months. What type of fertiliser did you use. And how much of it did you utilise please? |

Mfunkynation: Thanks!is it possible to cash dividend warrant in $into naira saving accts? I don't know if it's possible. You may need to contact your bank. But if it is then you will have to forget about any exchange rate even close to 400 per $. That is blackmarket rate. Your bank will do the conversion for you at official price which is currently around 325. They'll want to give some room for their own profit on the matter so the rate they'll offer you will likely be lower than 325. |

angelo82: From Access result,the intrinsic value of the stock is 8.99 which perfectly makes sense. Bros the small problem is NSE doesn't really care about intrinsic value. If it did Access, UBA, Transcorp, etc will be much higher than their current prices. I remember when I started. I finished reading countless write ups of Warren Buffet and his value investing mantra and put most of my money in stocks that were selling at far below their intrinsic value thinking I was going to "make money this year". Most of those stocks have lost over 50% of their value. I thank God I was able to average down on some and with others I just cut my losses and moved on to fight another day. A lot of stocks I thought I was buying madly cheap in 2014 are half their price today and even considered expensive at that half-price level. Today you find some worthless stocks selling high and some valuable stocks selling low. And if you're unlucky you get burnt very easily. Everything is just madness. Morale of the story is: Investopedia fit teach u stock, but nobody fit teach u NSE. If you're investing, make sure you're ready to stand by your decisions even on the long term. |

debeey87: Now I understand why some folks tagged you a monkey hunter. Few weeks back, you were here shouting that Total will not sustain its uptrend in the short to medium term. Today, you're claiming Total is game. Nna, be careful what you post and be a man of integrity you hear. I don't think he did anything wrong this time. He said "Total is a game" not "Total is game" |

OBAGADAFFI: ETERNA and UNITY result is very bad.
Deep in Profit is too much. Eterna did 0.75 EPS this Quarter compared to 0.46 EPS in the same quarter last year. Isn't that an indication that it has in fact done better? |

Hello guys, I'm a newbie here and learning fast! Please does anyone in the house know what's going on with transcorp? I've done my DD, it doesn't look like it's doing as well as last year (fundamentally) but it's not like the company is dying or anything. As far as I can observe the so-called fall in book value is minimal. Yet it's been losing back to back for the past 10 days straight! Am I missing something?? Its really making me doubt myself. |

bro do you care to share which ones you think are underperformers? Intendy: bro DUNKA,all the aforementioned stocks are good except for one or two and you omitted to put #20000 in from of dangote sugar.
reclassifying the stocks by sector
oil and gas =25% app.
food,beverage and consumer goods =39.9%
financial =27.1% app
building material/construction =8%
its a good mixture like I earlier said but your age and risk appetite determines a lot.
You'll have to drop some under performer which will likely drag back the portfolio. but some stocks in some sectors are OK. just my two cents for now |
