PoliticsRe: Demolition: Lagos Yields To Pleas, Gives Property Owners Options To ......... by optionalY09: 5:18pm On Dec 15, 2023
ajebuter:
The places that really deserve urgent demolition and compensation to owners are:

Jakande Estate in Adeniji Adele especially phases 1-3

Also Dolphin Estate lkoyi

These estates are built right on canal passage ways

Owners should be fully compensated before demolition
Nobody is going to be compensated for building illegal structure anywhere. If you have built on government land. Remove it before i come and if i have to remove it for you you will pay the cost of removing it or go to jail. Are you all fvcking crazy

PoliticsRe: The Increase In Nigerian Politicians Patronizing Prostitute Is National Disgrace by optionalY09: 8:39pm On Dec 11, 2023
ch214:
What did you mean by our society transform them to prostitutes?
They were not born prostitutes, economic issues coupled with variety of other issues which I’ll call societal issues. Where underage get raped by neighbour and nothing happen, teacher rapes students in exchange for grade, parents lure underaged girl to man in exchange for monitory benefits.

PoliticsRe: The Increase In Nigerian Politicians Patronizing Prostitute Is National Disgrace by optionalY09: 2:43pm On Dec 11, 2023
Well, that has become norm. All these things called ladies these days are nothing but trash bags except for few.

Our society transform them to prostitutes so it shouldn’t be a disgrace in anyway.
FamilyRe: What's Your Honest Opinion About Beating Kids Like This ? by optionalY09: 2:32pm On Dec 11, 2023
It’s unnecessary to do that without any meaningful cause. Parents who don’t spend quality time training kids have no rights correcting them harshly.

Before you can discipline someone for wrongdoing you need to have gone through training and implementation process with them. If they keep failing you can then apply different disciplinary concept which may sometimes include spanking as an option.

It’s also important to train a child not to prefer the spanking option of discipline but rather learn to apply self discipline and critical thinking.

‘Training is not physical beating’ like some were made to believe. The concept of beating to correct comes from slavery.

I spank my son occasionally when he become too daring. It takes time and lot of communication and actions to train children.
PoliticsRe: Here Are Some Places That Also Bears The Name "Èkó" In Nigeria by optionalY09: 12:28pm On Dec 11, 2023
Raydos:
Were all these places named by the Binis too?

Just because we have same Word in two different languages does not mean they're the same

For example: 'Akin' Is a Yoruba word for a Strong man

And Also Akin is also an English word which means something of similar nature

Same with Ode which means a hunter in Yoruba
And "Ode" which means a lyric poem in the form of an address to a particular subject in English

Does that mean Yoruba language belongs to the English people just cos they have a word in common?

Even Àkùkọ in Yoruba is Hẹn
And Okuko in Igbo is Hẹn

Because these words sounds the same, Does that make Yoruba own the word Okuko?

PoliticsRe: I Am Not A Fan Of Tinubu, But I Must Commend Him For This by optionalY09:
TokunboCarsOnly:
Sincerely, I am not a fan of President Tinubu and I am not sure I will ever be. To begin with his government remains the worst in our history. But there is one thing I must commend him for. Tinubu is not leaving Igbo people out in his appointments. The eleven justices shortlisted for SC promotion, the Igbos got three slot, that to me is commendable.

Politics aside, he has impressed me when it comes to displaying a level respect for federal character unlike Buhari who didn't give a damn about anybody except his Fulani brothers and sisters.

Well done President Tinubu.
He’s doing his job as Nigerian president not Fulani or Yoruba president. Let him do the job he applied for he didn’t need you to pat him in the back. He’s good at what he does.

I was wondering too. For an elite Northerner to complain that a Southern president did exactly what his leader did in a previous administration means that they are being pinched by Tinubu’s actions.
I didn’t really give a hoot about Tinubu’s action i just hate the hypocrisy and the manipulation of the Fulanis that has completely marred the progress of Nigeria and millions of Nigerians.

If i have the powers i will block anyone with a drop of Fulani blood from getting an inch closer to power in Nigeria. They are vampires

PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s Body Language Shows He’s Not Interested In Security – Northern Elders by optionalY09: 5:27pm On Dec 06, 2023
iwaeda:
The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) said President Bola Tinubu’s words, deeds and body language have shown that the president is not interested in security.

A top-placed member of the NEF, Professor Usman Yusuf, made this statement in an interview on Arise Television on Tuesday.

He said, “Our president and commander in chief, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from his words, deeds, and body language, is not interested in security. All he’s interested in is the economy, where the money is, and he’s planted his people. Security, banditry, and others appear irritant to him.

“We don’t see the president hands-on with our security. Our military is not supervised by civilian authority; they’ve gone rogue, dropping bombs on our people, and they’re not answerable to anybody. In the United States, where we copied the presidential system, the military is subordinate to civilian authority.”

He also questioned the role of the minister of defence, claiming that the president has outsourced the security of the country to the military.

He also called for an inquiry into the bomb attack in Kaduna, saying the military cannot investigate itself.

His words: “Whatever the president is planning to do, the military cannot investigate itself. We’ve had several incidences, and there have been no outcomes.

“There should be an independent judicial panel headed by a retired CJN, a former defence chief, traditional leaders, and religious leaders who are interested in protecting the people,” he said.

I respectfully ask you to kindly walk out your house, building.

Now count 10 houses/building close to you.

Yes you will find out an Igbo from the dot nation owns at least 2 of those house

2 here is so our ego won't be totally crushed, can be more.

Are other regions left out?

No!

If you're from North, South you can do same experiment.

They achieved this after all they owned in other regions were forcefully taken away from they during the war wish is quite fair as the rules of war is simple..... Victor takes all and implements new rule how they fee like.

There's a reason some particular people are scared of Igboman leading Nigeria.

They're scared.... If they aren't scared why have they sworn on their father's graves not to let an Igboman rule?
Them an their brothers up North are terribly scared of Igbo ruling Nigeria 😂😂

They know if an IgboMan rules this country their so called developed state will be at great risk.

Most of the benefits their so called states enjoys will shift to another state hence opening their Nyansh...

One day na One day.

I love this generation of Igbo... We do anything to protect our own however few they claim we are.

Buhari tried 3 times before winning.

There's great hope for Obi.

All it will take is for Tinubu to ruin this tenure completely and then it will be smooth ride for Obi
