HND is higher than B.Tech on ground. That's why I will always employ a polytechnic graduate in Engineering over a university graduate or better still a university graduate that has an OND. Companies knows this. Before you criticize me, am a university graduate

I bet the companies that knows it knows it well

*Application for Teachfornigeria Programme, Final Round for 2018 Opens 09/05/2018*

Locations: Teach for Nigeria Fellows will be teaching in schools in Lagos, Ogun and Kaduna State for the 2018 cohort.

*Before you apply, kindly READ the Frequently Asked Questions here* http://teachfornigeria.org/faq/

The Teach for Nigeria Fellowship program is a 2 year full-time paid commitment in which we place the most outstanding graduates and professionals to teach in Nigeria’s underserved schools in low- income communities.
I hear the programme will be all about primary school pupils only. How true is this?

Pick a day (a Monday, preferably), and comb the area. You could check out schools in Morogbo as well. What do/can you teach?

Good evening ..please I need you guys opinion.....There's this 40k job offer I got today....I stay in ikorodu and the company is at gbagada....considering the amount I will spend on tfare and feeding.....Do you guys think its a good offer?.....please who knows how much it will cost to get to gbagada from ikorodu
Of course it's not a "good" offer, but sometimes we have to look beyond the payslip. Ask yourself: Will I grow here? Will my job description help enhance my skill set? I believe these things matter, too. If your answer to both is YES, then I think you should go ahead and accept the offer and look for better opportunities while at it.

Hi everyone. All the best in our various applications. God will help and favor us all.

I have come to say again that if you have any thought of staying in Canada after study, it will never be a bad idea to read about Canada express entry. Some of us did this time last year and God has been faithful.

Regards,

Ps: you might want to use the Wes Canada GPA calculator for a more accurate comparison of your grades with the Canadian system.
Good afternoon, jnyuwa.
I have been following the thread, your comments and those of the other big contributors, but it's my first quoting. Thank you for your immense contributions to the thread, believe it or not, you're literally saving lives on here. Thank you.

A really quick question, though... Is WES Canada different from the general WES. I recently did a general (unofficial) WES evaluation, will I have to do another Canada-specific evaluation? I understand there are Canada and USA "WESes." Does the distinction only come with official evaluations?

PS. "General" in the sense that, I wasn't required to specify to which scale I wanted my conversion/evaluation, US or Canada. That's how I remember it, at least. But was my evaluation WES USA by default?

Happy Easter to everyone.

Yeah, I am not happy with the way you quote me. It shows you are self centered and selfish. People like you make fellow human being depressed and attempt suicide. What makes you think you are better than a graduate of Yoruba language? what makes your discipline superior? What?

Happy whatever you like
Chior!
I see why you're angry right there. I never meant it the way you picked it. Should I edit that part out of the original post? Would it take away the anger? It's Sunday, you don't wanna be Dr. Banner all day.

It's a good thing to see you 'laugh out loud'
If you study a mouth watery course at the university, you shouldn't be on an unemployed thread like this.

Or are you here to help someone? If no, then how many unemployed youth have you helped with your "glorified" discipline?

I created a thread to hint fellow job seekers on how best to get employed, you are hating because you have never thought of upgrading your God forsaking brain.

Just point out to me where i evaluate and judge anybody on my post, people like you are the descendant of "Evans the kidnapper" upgrade your brain with a computer skill, or remain unemployed till eternity.

In case you don't know, visit the n-power site again and see for yourself, its boldly written there, if you don't have any of the computer based skills, don't bother to apply, because n-power doesn't need you.

People who laugh at other people's life like you, is either a poverty driving half baked illiterate or an idle asshole who spend all his days masturbating up n down, waiting on a job without a skill.

Funny thing is, if checked properly you are nothing but a failed graduate with a 'pass' let my people go for that matter.

Chior!!!

LOL... Wow! You're upset!! I didn't mean to get you this upset. But seriously man, I soooo am not the guy you described up there. I can't say more than that. So, because I'm employed, some threads on here are off-limits? Another reason to LOL right there.

I, a half-baked "let my people go"?? And without skill??
LOL... Hilarious...! I gotta say, you have a really bad mouth for a guy. Maybe it's what makes you make me LOL after all.

Happy Sunday.

Ok.
I have a certificate in computer data processing 2009. That was before i gain admission.

I studied Education Yorùbá language (B.A.ED)
2014

Served the father land with batch B stream 1 2015/2016

Right now i work with a cocoa merchant company, i have my project farm where i planted maize and melon, i also have a new project of planting ginger and turmeric. I also teach on part time bases, plus i mark waec booklets to crown it I'm still searching for a radio station to employ me as a newscaster and duty continuity announcer.

Back in march this year, i started learning computer graphic design. Reason was that almost all employers now want their employee to have a computer skill, and not just been a computer literate.

Pens down

LOL... I would do all that, too, if I studied Yoruba in the university. You've done good for yourself, though; props. But it shouldn't be enough reason to evaluate and judge other people's merits and apparent 'faults.' Don't you think?

So a graduate should not have skills in other computer aspect such as Computer Graphics Design, Database Management.

I'm nit talking about been a pro. But idea is needed my brother.

If you graduate from a college of education for example, you will take a computer course, even though not in detail, but you will be exposed to some of the skilled mention in the npower.

Moreover, who says you can't acquire any of the skills before the commencement of the screening and all the rest?

Nigerian youths don't want to do anything but want to have everything.

Chior!
Bia, what did you study and which of the skills did you pick?

Mod'd:
You may come back and say you're self-employed, issokay. The question will then be: What did you study, and which of the skills do you have?
Answer honestly.
