Met with my State commissioner in his office today to solicit for his assistance in getting a good federal government job. He then asked about my local government and family compound. After that, he asked me about my HOR member name which I told him. Also, he asked for my credentials, and the states that I'll like to work if the opportunity comes up.

As for my discipline, that I can only hold an administrative position which I said yes. He promised to do all his possible best to get me a job within Abuja or any of the south west states but I need to be prayerful. I prayed for him as well. He ended our conversations by saying; he is in that office to be of help to unemployed graduates from his state.

Indeed, my state commissioner is accomodating, jovial, empathic and fatherly to the core.

I pray good things comes up from there.

Note: Oyo State commissioner.

Can anyone tell me the committee he belongs to?
I am also from Oyo state. How can you be of help sir?

BusinessRe: How To Open A Business Name In CAC With N12,000 In Just 2 Weeks Without A Lawyer by Orente21(f): 12:47pm On Mar 16, 2021
DeConsultant:
Firstly, file your company annual returns and penalties up to date with CAC.

Secondly, visit your FIRS MSTO and file all outstanding VAT payments and penalties.

With these two liabilities off the company's book, it is safe to say that your company - business name - is fully active and functional.

1. Register an account on CAC website.
2. Make a name reservation N500 and some service charge of about 116
3. Once name is reserved you'll log in and copy ur name reservation code. Use that code to commence the business registration process.
Payment for Business reg thru remita is 10k, plus some service charge
4. Fill the form and upload the required documents (passpt, means of ID, Signature and payment receipts)
5. Wait for it to be approved if all goes well.

Mine was a hassle. I was queried several times so here are some tips for u to avoid the pitfalls.
* Sign your signature on a white sheet of paper and upload.
* When uploading documents, the one marked others (last one) is where u upload receipt (I didn't upload initially and I was queried.)
*Keep ur business description brief. About 100 characters per nature of business.
*they only accept pdf or JPEG so used a PDF merger to merge ur ID card back and front before uploading.
*use PC for ur registration to make ur life easy
*If u need more assistance just ask.

Cheers and Good luck mate!
hello sir, I have registered my business name for approval. But I noticed that my signature and my passport refuse to upload despite using JPEG. Or is it dt my payment have not been confirmed. Since yesterday.

Except its a spcialized service business like pharmaceutical stores and all, no document needed. How soon depends on all the steps listed and if you don't encounter query.
Ever since they started doing everything online , I want to believe it will be "swifter" than ever.
BUT if you're doing it because of COVID loan, I am not certain your TIN from FIRS will come out as fast as needed
Oh. Thanks. Very grateful

If its Business Name , then you can do that yourself .

Log on to cac.gov.ng
Create a profile (username and password )
Proceed to name availability, by starting an application of submitting two desired name , where one will be approved for you. This will cost you #500 payment is online. Within 24-48, an approval or denial notice will be sent to you.
If one is approved, you can proceed to register the name proper....if non of the two is approved, you will have to review the name and do the process again, you will pay another #500.

(You may want to use the public search link on the website, to know if someone isn't already using your intended name, this will save you wasting #500 over and over )

After approval , the registration is #10,000 , fill all details properly otherwise you may encounter a query to amend here and there .
Once done, your certificate will be ready for either download online or state headquarter pickup as the case may be

I hope this helps
thanks so much sir. Do I need any documents? ND how soon will the certificate be ready.
