Travel / Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by Oreoluwa97: 10:04pm On Oct 21, 2023
demmysoft:

Baba ...what are u saying ....

Saying my guy entered UK on Student visa (dependant) on getting to UK, He got COS, and applied as main applicant on skilled work visa while his wife is about to finish her program. Unfortunately, He was not aware that he will need proof of English language to apply as the primary applicant for the COS. After he applied with COS without proof of English language. The home office now asked him to provide evidence that he met the English requirements i.e. test of English. He quickly register for IELTS Exam but failed READING part of the English language test (3.5 point) which make him not to meet the English language requirement as specify by UKVI. After the test he got 5.5 for the overall but 3.5 point in READING which is below the 4.5 as recommended by UKVI. He uploaded the test result after, and home office wrote to him again to provide evidence that he has met English Language requirement see below.

"You are required to provide evidence that you have met the English requirements as stated on Appendix English Language. This can be either a UKVI accredited English certificate from an approved testing centre, or a UK NARIC letter to confirm the UK equivalent level of your qualification and that your overseas degree was taught or researched in English to level B1 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework for Language learning or above.
You need to log in to your application and upload your evidence.
Please send this within 10 working days."

Meanwhile, his wife (primary applicant on student visa) has finished her studies and her visa was almost expired but have some outstanding courses to clear, but upon several consultation, she was asked to apply for extension to complete her study. Fortunately, she got 6 months visa approval by home office.

Remember that, the husband application on COS was still pending based on the evidence of English language he was unable to provided. The home office now gave him 10 days to provide English language evidence. In the process, the wife got 6 months visa extension to complete her study.

My question now is that, is it possible to cancel the Skill worker visa application and apply as a dependant under his wife (student primary applicant)? Secondly, if he apply as a dependant on the 6 month visa extension, is the application going to be considered for the fact that the husband visa is already expired. Hope you understand now.

Thank you

Please can your friend quickly book PTE Academic UKVI exam, the results comes out within 2-48 hours and it’s simpler than IELTS. And yes, it is acceptable by UKVI.

Good day all,

Please I need some clarification on this express entry.
I just finish with WES but the report I got is a little bit confusing to me.

I will really appreciate if someone can explain the attached report I got from Wes and if it will affect me applying for express entry.

Thank you.

WES? Republic of Cotonou? Nah, the evaluation won’t be positive. Try ICES but bear in mind it can take up to 7-9months but they would evaluate it positively.

Good afternoon all, please I need your kind advice. A friend married under Islamic law, without undergoing statutory marriage ( I.e. marriage at the Registry) how can his wife as a dependent apply for visa under his student visa, as he is the primary applicant. Can they rely on the Islamic marriage certificate alone to apply for visa.
Your kind response would be appreciated.

Thanks

Please someone should answer please?

Even if I liquidate everything, I won't be able to raise 10 million naira now.
I just clicked 28 this month, considering I have just 2 years now to reach 30, what's the best way you think I can increase my score to 470 within a year or so.
Thanks

Why don’t you go for an Msc in National Open University (NOUN)?You can resume against next semester(August) and You can complete the msc programme in two semesters or at most three semesters by next year!!!

Good Evening Nairalanders, I need suggestions and opinions o, I already made up my mind to enroll in NOUN for my Msc Programme!!! But I would like to confirm if I can study any course (Msc. peace studies and conflict resolutions)!! is this course going to be evaluated by WES or the course doesn’t mean? Or I should go for Msc Business Administration instead, I would be getting my masters form next month and I wouldn’t want the programme to exceed two or three semesters at most!! Thank you as I await your response..

I didn’t use ICES anymore for personal reasons, currently using CES but just started the process in February. Their timeline is within 15 - 20 weeks.

Meaning I should be done in July.

Okay please can I get your number or your email pls for further questions?

Hello everyone, I hold a BSC from Benin Republic. Surfing WES website has made me realize it would be impossible to have it evaluated by WES.
Is the any way around this - maybe via ECA, IQAS?

Has anyone ever been able to evaluate a degree obtained from a private university in Benin successfully with any of these evaluation bodies?
Good morning, please have you been able to evaluate your bsc degree?

Hi everyone,

Please does anyone know if WES still evaluates transcripts from Houdegbe North American University Benin.

I have heard different versions of stories and I wouldn’t want to waste my money.

Plus, using IQAS has been a struggle as I’ve not been able to get access to their website.

Is there anyone who knows the way forward?

Good morning, were you able to evaluate your transcripts from Benin and if yes? Which ECA??

Hello, just seeing this.

I am no longer using WES any more, decided to opt for ICES. This is because the school I attended prefers ICES to WES.

Don’t know about WES stigmatizing certificates from Benin tho.

Please I need your help, I am also a graduate from Benin Republic and I am confused about using WES? Can u put me through on the ICES?
