I wish a debate would be organised among the the presidential aspirants. I could recall that the first time obama contested, he won the heart of the people during a presidential debate. Such in Nigeria will be good.

Pastor Efiye in another statement accused APC of deliberately attempting to cause a rift in the church.

A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Bribena Efiye recently gave his own opinion concerning the soon to be held general elections and the current political battle being waged within the house of God.

Pastor Efiye in an exclusive interview published by Daily Sun, stated that he won't be voting for Buhari simply because he picked a fellow RCCG pastor, Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate.

He said: “As a pastor in the RCCG, I will not vote for Buhari simply because he has picked Osinbajo as his running mate.”

“One can see the APC trying to launder the image of someone who has consistently allied himself to religious fundamentalism,” he continued. “A case in point is Buhari’s utterances in the run up to the 2011 general elections where he categorically said that Muslims should not vote for Christians and that Northerners should not vote for a Southerner."

“That, for me, is a very serious issue. So, the fact that Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who is a pastor in the RCCG, was picked as his running mate does not take care of that issue. Rather, it makes one to believe that picking Osinbajo is a deliberate attempt to launder Buhari’s image. APC is only trying to pull wool over the eyes of the Nigerian electorate…”

The pastor insisted that RCCG's General Overseer, Enoch Adeboye had not placed his allegiances in any political party despite reports that he gave his blessing to Professor Yemi Osinbajo to run as the vice presidential candidate of Buhari.

“The propaganda machinery of APC is only trying to create the impression that the GO of the RCCG and the Church have backed Buhari because he picked Osinbajo as his running mate. There is nothing that is further from the truth… The G.O. has made it clear that he is father of everybody because he has children in both PDP and APC.”

Efiye in another statement accused APC of deliberately attempting to cause division in the church by their actions.

“I want to advise the propaganda machinery of APC to please leave the church out of the murky of politics,” he said in a statement also published by the Daily Sun.

The pastor was also referring to a ‘faceless group’ who called for a national prayer rally in Lagos but actually had the ulterior motive of mobilising support for APC.

“They shouldn’t drag the church into politics because if they do, the church will become divided. We don’t want what is happening in Enugu State to happen,” he concluded.

GEJ is definitely winning. This is a good sign for GEJ.

People attack GEJ unnecessarily while he is recorded as the best civilian leader. Even one of our late past leader spoke about GEJ many years ago. That's why I don't border because definitely GEJ will win, no doubt.

I was shocked with the comment of some APC supporters. I watch the campaign live on NTA that picture is correct. I can see APC is gradually loosing balance when 14th is just by the corner.

Please note this GMB can't initiate change when working with men like tinubu, amaechi el rufai amongst others.

I wish east will rise and vote for GEJ seeing that it was this same northern with his brothers that denied our own igbo hardworking brothers promotion in the military.
