When a CD player, be it a Hi-fi or car CD player, wouldnt read or load a CD it used to play, it could be caused by other things other than lense. When the motor that turns the CD or the motor that moves the lense, no longer turns the CD or moves the lense at required speed, the CD wont play, even if you replace/change the lense. It might work for a while when you change the lense, but will eventually kill the lense soon. If you can get the complete mechanism, it will save you a lot of wahala. But you can still try changing the lense first, incase lense is the only problem. What normally kill lense and the motors are all those pirated low quality CDs in our markets. The lense and motors are stressed trying to read them cos of their inferior quality. In the process, it shortens their life span quicker. Thats why the CD & DVD players vibrate while playing them, if you are observant. If you can afford CD changer, it will save you from having this type of issue again with your car CD player.cos, it will be easier & less stressful for you to replace the changer than your player.

About your fuel pump, are you sure the fault is from the fuel pump? So mamy things can make a car to stall. Even if its fuel pump problem, which fuel pump did you change? Is it the In-tank fuel pump or the main fuel pump? Because if the intank pump dies, your car will start suffering from fuel starvation,ie, your fuel will cut off once it reaches half tank. Not only that, it will make your external fuel pump to overwork, thereby killing it sooner than you think.

Thank u so much ikenna for ur professional advice. Though i dnt understand wat u meant by intank or main pump.i changed d fuel filter in d engine then d fuel pump underneath d backseat.this fixed d jerking and start going off at irregular intervals wen in hold up. Going tru ur post shows dat u hv a deep knowledge of cars.guess u r an engineer.where is d intank pump located and wat r d other things dat cud b responsible for d problem? tnx once more for ur help n suggestions.God bless

I jst changed d fuel pump and at times when am in a holdup or traffic light it goes off on its own.happens upto 4times a day.my mechanic is just doing try and error work.wat cud be wrong? Thanx

Nothing to b scared of my friend. God is always in control and is better to go to a specialist or a teaching hospital to avoid unnecessary tears and complications.most of d tears n unnecessary c-session are performed by inexperienced n impatient docs in private hosp.who are moneycentric
