I dont just get it.just wats going on in this country Everyday we pray and hope for a better country that we can call our own yet some ingrates with both internal and external sponsors are tearing it to shreds? Wats the presidency doing?keeping mute like a toothless bulldog? Damn it.i cnt believe this is happening.Bomb blast for xmas and newyear eves?we heading towards a failed state like afganistan,somalia unless something drastic is done very fast to keep these cowards in check. Am so pained and choking with anger and fury. PRESIDENT GOODLUCK PLEASE WAKE UP!!! FOR GOODNESS SAKE!

In as much i respect the personality of jega am beginning to suspect he has allowed some cabals to hijack him and cook up those figures for him to favour them in forms of bogus contracts as it were in our corrupt govts.
He should stand up for credibility and hv those figures reviewed cos they way too high. I just pray they get it right this time around and give us credible elections.

1. Hitting the pedal to 150km/hr on a tiny road i was travelling for the first time,overtook a long vehicle right before a sharp bend i never knew was there. Ended up over 40meters in a thick bush with the car facing the opposite direction.came out unscathed-thanks to seatbelt.actually veered between two big trees.the trees would have done me in.still gives me creeps.

U dnt need so much time to arrange a debate between two people who are aspiring for the no.1 post all they need is just to change their schedules.As aspiring presidents they dnt need to go read an encyclopedia they should speak from their hearts. Just like what obama told mcain when asked they shelved their campaign cos of a burning issue in newyork,as a leader u most be multi tasked to take on issues head on as they come while keeping other burning issues in line.
But i dnt think any of them have that versatility. If the debates holds i bet you it will be so empty and boring cos one of them is a DUMB THIEF and the other a WEAKLING. The victim should reach out to human rights NGOs so their retinue of lawyers can assist him seek justice and compensations(punitive damages) at little or no cost so he can go for proper treatment.
That the incidence happened over 8months ago is going to pose some challenges in proving the case as some vital evidences might have been lost,stale and rendered invalid with time.
Now that it has made the news,he really needs to act fast lest the culprit make a fast move in covering up his trails by distorting,tampering and eliminating all evidences(especially finishing up the victim) that could nail him.
I will recommend an NGO- Center for the Defence of Human Right(CDHR) based in Lagos.I trust they will assist him. I wish him all the best.
As for you all,whenever u have an encounter with the police always remember to "behave" ursef cos these guys are sick.they dont even know what their constitutional duties are.ask an average policeman,he doesnt know. We need to flush the present police force and overhaul our recruitment system.
It is absurd that we all pay taxes which is used to pay their salaries,cloth them(uniform) and buy these guns for them to protect us only for them to use this same guns we bought to terrorise,maim and kill us. And they dont even pay tax! Is so sad!!!

How many death of innocent nigerians will it take for the Govt of d day to take a firm stand of these senseless killings? A Govt. dat can not protect her citizens against internal and external aggression is a failed Govt. and if this continues as it is now it will only lead to a failed state and this breaks my heart.
The first suspects here are d muslim fundamentalists who are well supported,financed and sponsored by well know politicians,muslim clerics,imams as well as emirs who believe in their 'holy' jihad and seven virgins in heaven. These same set of people will come on air and tell who care to listen dat islam is a religion of peace and condemn d act whereas they are the brain behind d mayhem. They send all these messages to mosque and islamic societies to take arms against their christian brothers. They even go as far as killing muslims of southern descent so is more of a ethno-religious cleansing. It was in this country not too long ago in kano and kaduna that some southern(mostly yorubas)muslims were slaughtered right inside the mosque immediately after jumat prayers.
we can not allow this to continue. These gays should be fished out cos they are in high places and be prosecuted.
If the Govt. Does not take a drastic step in correcting these anomalies once and for all,they are leading us to nowhere but the part of wanton destruction where no one will be spared. He retired as a custom officer and we know they are not paid the best salary so where did his fortune come from if not from fraudulent dealings? He built a university with his salary? And brought in expatriates to lecture with huge salaries when our level of unemployment is suffocating.
