So you think everything in the Torah is true? Is that what you're saying?
sonmvayina: I can only stick my head out for the Torah. All other are just foot notes or outright cow shut. The Torah walks with us on a journey of self discovery and shows us what really matters. It teaches us on how to achieve a higher consciousness.
All the book after the place marked "New testament" are not worth the paper they are written. You will do well to disregard them.
What are the possibilities that the Israelites crossed the Red Sea and why should we believe such an unimaginable claim without first critically thinking about it?
Brother David has properly explained this and stressed the importance of logical reasoning. Kindly watch and subscribe on his channel
OK that's fine. I have tried to explain as best as I can. I hope you get it someday. Thank you for your time.
Gabrielshow24: The soul is from dust? 😅.I must have missed that verse. This has become quite worrying when an adjective, "living", has led him to a different conclusion 🤕. He inferred that the formed dust already had a soul, with God's breath acting as the starting mechanism 🤦🏾♂️!
While it's interesting, it ends up being mundane! It comes from a faulty and lack of contextual interpretation of the said verse!
Context warrants that "living" is a stress on the word "soul" suggesting the physical existence of such a soul under the guise of the body not that the soul was the body😅, warranting God to later give it a skin later on🤦🏾♂️. It's an inveigling theory with childish ree energy but it's far-fetched.
I can understand your points but I hope you know that I can only speak with you according to how I’ll hope you can understand. I would have pointed you to where the Bible showed that man’s soul was made with the fire of God and it’s written that man walked in that fire in the beginning but if I show you now, it’ll be another argument because you already believed a wrong thing about the verse.
Also, God didn’t breath into dust, God breath into man’s already formed soul and that breath gave the man’s soul inspiration and made it alive.
So soul exists even after the breathe is taken because it’s from dust and shall return to it. This is why when people die, the breathe goes back to God but the soul remains awaiting judgment.
Go and look these things and you’ll see.
Gabrielshow24: You still haven't shown anyone where God "simmered man's soul with fire" 😂—Sorry... I meant "molded his soul from dust with the fire of God"🤔.
The soul, a concept term for the breath that man received from God after being formed from clay! Emphasis on formed not moulded with heat👀! The bible didn't add any such heating process, what you have concocted, substantially depends on using a specific physical process of moulding to insinuate man's soul was heated😂! Thus, according to you It's not now that man has been akin to fire😂, it's been from the very beginning; courtesy of our souls and God's benevolent 🔥!
Man became a living being(soul) after God breathed into him not after when the soul, clay according to you by the way, was formed🤨!
The "living" there only buttresses the fact that man had the breath of God and existed physically, since they are other beings that have God's life in them also but are not physical!
Don't get it wrong! It's a nice posit but it's not satisfactory and doesn't reconcile properly with scripture! The simple theme of that verse is that man is a physical spirit —physically existing to be exact— and not that man's soul(spirit) is made up of dust 🧐.
And yes the soul will eventually return to dust because it was made from dust. However, man's soul was molded from dust with the fire of God and it's only that fire that will destroy him.
So when Jesus return in the end time, he shall release the fire of God, to destroy the souls of all the men who have refused to walk in God's light. He'll return them to dust and they shall be no more.
If you don't understand this that's fine. You only know the cloth you wear on your flesh but the flesh is the actual cloth God gave man and it's that flesh that is animal skin.
Gabrielshow24: All this agege submissions doesn't cut it! Kindly tell us whether the skin is not part of flesh 🤣?
You also said: "The soul will eventually return to dust" 🤨where did you infer this from? Likewise where was it written that man's soul was formed with fire?
What skin was given to man, when he was already molded in clay(flesh) some verses back? Also, when a person dies he doesn't only put off skin, he puts off flesh! Get that right. Wrong, the skin doesn't cloth the soul of man! If I remove your skin now, will I get your soul? Definitely not! The flesh which encapsulates the skin covers the soul of man!
When man dies, the flesh goes to dust because it's animal's but the soul remains. The soul will eventually return to dust when God comes with the fire of God, the same kind of fire it was formed it.
No one can destroy the soul, but because it's not from dust, but because it was created by God. You can't destroy what you didn't create or know how it was created.
The skin that was given to man after sin is our skin. It's the animal skin and we all inherit it.
When a person dies, he puts off the skin and exposes his soul. The skin cloths the soul of man.
I hope you get it.
Gabrielshow24: And he will cease and his flesh will return as dust to the earth! 🤨—By your thesis, then it's his soul which returns to the Earth. This concoction of yours is awful. Man being a living soul was an emphasis of man living within a physical context (clay or dust)—his soul lived within dust! If then what you claim is true then we humans likewise should be able to kill the soul as the molded clay is the soul but Jesus said otherwise😂!
The molded clay after sinning still needed "garments of skin", I suppose the clayey formations was not enough as a protective layer😂.
The Hebrew writers understood the simple concept, man-souls dwell within physical bodies (skins) that perish! These physical bodies are vulnerable and thus need protective skins as cloth for them. Likewise Both Adam and Eve just realized they were naked😁, I wonder what need for cloths your souls need, when in the actual place they have no need for skins😂—Jesus' words!
Don't get it wrong, wise one! Man was a living soul, having a physical body! Man was also enlightened in this physical body, has he came to know he was naked, God in infinite mercy gave them protective skins for the journey and they were sent out from Eden! Not that Man was a soul, when obviously formed from clay (physical substance) some verses before then he awakened which prompted God to make him skins😂. I wonder how a skin-less person looks like🤔, that's probably the paragon of oridavid's Mankind!
Yes, it's the soul that God formed from the dust. This soul did not have the skin we now have. It's after Adam sinned that God gave him the skin to enjoy his new reality.
Once we die, we won't have the skin anymore, so yes, Jesus is right that spirits or souls do not have skin.
You also have no case that souls aren't made from clay. But I do have a case because that literally what the Bible says - Adam was formed and only became living when God breathed into him.
Gabrielshow24: "living soul" — This a phrase to emphasize souls that exists within the physical context! 🤨 How hard is this to understand? If, as you claim, Adam was "soul" then God didn't need to form clay? Except you want to argue that souls are made from clay? You have no case, brother. Also, Jesus' words is the icing on the cake, as Christ elucidates "Spirit/souls do not have flesh and bones"! Luke 24:39
Hence, both logic and scripture are contrary to your stance😅!
Oh yes, this question is coming from an educated persons.
Does your skin cover you or not? Have you ever thought that it's the soul God created and Adam simply became a "living soul" after creation and not a living flesh. Kindly check again, pls.
Gabrielshow24: is this coming from an educated person? Is the message in the bible verse I gave not clear? What aspect of 'God made them garments of skin' don't you understand? Or you suppose that God just made them their physical skin? 🤨 —Which negates the verses before when they were formed from clay? Are you of the opinion that Adam and Eve were spirits? Kindly explain wise one!
How you intreprete scriptures is really wonderful 😅!
Although many people say we don't need to be logical when relating with God but we need to see what the Bible says about logic. Kindly follow the discussion on my youtube
Gabrielshow24: Perhaps, you can enlighten us where skins were made from? 👀 Maybe God used industrial processes to make them garment of silk🤨? Or perhaps he poofed them up garment of skins? Let us know wise one.
Some months ago, I engaged someone who asked me, "what will happen if satan believes in Jesus?" The answer is: the power of the gospel is the same. If anyone believes in jesus, they'll be saved. Watch and comment.
Remember the case of the foolish virgins? They knew who the groom was and even talked to him, recognizing that he's the groom they've been waiting for, but sadly, the groom didn't know them.
In this video, we discussed John 3:16, discussing why we have a Church that is too focused on the identity of Jesus, so much so that it enforce his identity as a tenet, but to what effect? What difference does it make when people believe Jesus is God? What difference does it make if someone doesn't believe he's God, but instead the son of God? What difference does it make if someone says God is not triune?
Watch as we discuss all of this in this session of shifting perspective.
