Guyman02: Haha guy, even if it's you. We only heard her screaming, where the guy was talking to her was all muted. if he intended to rape or kidnap her from his voice and comments we would know. let's hear what he was telling her, which she conveniently edited out Still, she deserves fair hearing. The guy has done the right thing by suing her. Now let's leave the judgement for the court. |

Evegreen: Really?? I'm extremely surprised by what Nairalanders, especially the male folks, are saying as regards this issue. Where's the Nairaland of yesterday that says a big "NO" to rapists. When did we start supporting rapists? The police has not even declared the man innocent and here we are, already giving 80% support to the man. Provided the lady's not a celebrity, would we have believed her story? I expect the police to carry out a God fearing and error-free investigation. But before then, let's stop casting blames; let's stop promoting this traumatizing thing called rape. It will only prevent victims from speaking out when attacked by rapists. Please protect the female gender! #I STAND FOR JUSTICE# it's the females shouting her down i smh 4. I don't care if she is saying the truth or lying.she deserves to be heard out, same with the driver. Then the matter should be investigated. The way some posters are trying to shut her up is what i find repulsive and cringeworthy. |

The only people I pity are the girls trying to sound unbiased by supporting the Taxify dude. Don't get me wrong.I am not saying the Dorcas girl case of attempted rape against the guy is right. But you don't just take sides based on the little info made available to the public. Since the guy's confident he did nothing wrong,he should take legal actions against her. There's this worrying trend of people trying to muzzle rape victims which I notice is becoming rife lately. Let's allow the case to be investigated before passing verdicts. Yeah, some women use the rape alarm to punish men,but is that always the case? Very soon, women will get raped and rewarded with harsh criticisms for speaking out. We're getting there. |

Since one of the issues the Group seeks to find a redress to is the school fees non-indigenes in the State pay,I wonder why Yorubas who are not from Ogun State were excluded. I want to believe schools don't charge based on ethnicity; a Yoruba student from Oyo would pay the same amount as those from other tribes. So why are they not being carried along since this affects them too? |

Celebrities › Re: Tekno Shares New Photo With Drake by Origamist: 4:18pm On Dec 11, 2017 |
Jackson042: Till he drops a video with Drake... then we'll know who actually came closer... First of all, it was Dbanj who set the pace for all Nigerian musicians... he was the first Nigerian artiste to collaborate with an international act... Also, Drake featured Wizkid only once... which was "One dance" Drake jumped on Wizkid's "Ojuelegba" because the beat was dope... then decided to feature Wizkid on "One dance"... but Wizkid didn't impress him... Have you looked at Wizkid's verse in One Dance? Got a pretty girl and she love me long time Wine it, wine it, very long time Oh yeah, very long time Back up, back up, back up and wine it Back up, back up and wine it, girl Back up, back up, back up and wine it Oh yeah, very long time Back, up, back up and wine it, girl He made no sense! And we all know that Drake is a lyricist... He cares much about the lyrics... That's why they had to tone his verse down... As for the "Come Closer", Wizkid was the one who featured Drake... And just like anyone would do, Drake accepted as long as he will be paid... When the first video of "Come Closer" was dropped, Drake didn't show up... Wizkid gave an excuse... The second video dropped & Drake didn't still show up... If you check in YouTube, the first video had 47m views & that was because people were expecting to see Drake but he didn't show up... that's why when the second "Come Closer" video came out, it had only 4m views... you see the gap? But as for Tekno, he might be signed to Drake's record label.. because he's a producer... as long as Tekno can be producing dope beats for him... And it will also open more doors for Tekno.. because most international acts are trying to break into the Nigerian market... Tekno can be producing American/Nigerian beats for them... So stop saying Tekno can't measure up with Wizkid... Time will tell... What do you mean by Wizkid did not impress him? Wizkid took the bridge in One Dance. And a bridge is meant to sound slightly different from the other verses. Wizkid delivered. |

Lol. Those of you quoting onijagidijagan should take it easy. The initial title of the thread was "Tekno measures up to Wizkid" it was redacted before being moved to the FP. If we'll be truthful to ourselves, you can't compare Wizkid's success at the international level with Tekno's - for now - just because he took a pic with Drake and got signed to OVO. This move by Tekno should not surprise anyone. He has always had international appeal. Remember Tekno was the only Nigerian artiste to make the list of Billboard's 10 HipHop & RnB artistes to watch out for in 2017. |
