The crisis generated by Ekiti All Progressive Congress governorship primary election took a different dimension, on Monday as some protesters sealed off the party’s secretariat in Ado Ekiti with juju (charms).

It was learnt that they had padlocked the gates of the secretariat, poured palm oil to form a circle and broke fresh eggs in and around the oily circle.
The protesters, who gathered at the gate, were demanding the immediate dissolution of the party’s state executive council, led by the chairman, Chief Olajide Awe.

Speaking on behalf of the protesters known as Ekiti APC Stakeholders, Mr Adeoyo Aribasoye, said they were relying on the constitution of the party, which he said permitted them to do away with the executive, adding that Mr Kayode Egunjobi had been appointed as chairman of the caretaker committee.

He said “the Ekiti APC executive has moved for a consensus candidate, which is against the constitution of our party.

“The executive has also openly displayed support for an aspirant. These actions are against the constitution and that is why we are passing a vote of no confidence on the Jide Awe-led executive. We want them to step aside and a caretaker committee to be inaugurated.”

What’s your take on this new fashion,internet-flooding and fast becoming controversial system young women adopted in show casing their pregnancies and their babies on internet both stark naked?
Nowadays, it’s becoming virtually impossible for young women more especially celebrities to go through pregnancies or have babies without getting naked for the cameras. Its more seen apparently as a ritual. This is done to most presumably for fans, herself and more attention from the public.

But actually, personally,I would be very okay to skip this strange celebrity ritual,this complicated stew of personal indulgence, brand tending and sociopolitical me-too-ism.

Of course,pregnancy and nursing a new born is beautiful, powerful and worthy of celebration. A proof that you’re womanly,you are a phenomenal. Your post natal and prenatal narcissism is inarguable and incontestable. God bless. You don’t need the attention of these public to create in you that awareness.

A woman who does not live her life on the public stage might hire a photographer to memorialize these special few years of baby nursing then tuck those images into a family photo album, frame them for display at her home. But to place those photos on the cover of a major magazine or insert them into an instagram or facebook feed that reach 100 million fans especially stark naked,suggests not only that one’s nursing period is of interest to the public but that is also meaningful in some uniquely grand and sweeping way. Most likely however it is not.

A few months ago, the call to end the Special Anti-Robbery Unit of the Nigerian police trended with the hashtag #EndSars taking over the internet. Even though the police PPRO Jimoh Moshood declared in a saucy video that also went viral that most people calling for the scrapping of SARS are criminals, Nigerians who have tasted the bitter end of the barbarism of officers like Uche Ndumele laughed off his naïve submission as a desperate attempt at damage control.

The truth remains that SARS from its antecedence and the gory testimonies of its victims is turning out to be a very dangerous unit. Officers of this establishment carry themselves with a certain air of nonchalance; that look about them that says they can get away with everything. Even their detention facility in Abuja is a nightmare if testimonies from those who have been held there are anything to go by. Amnesty international has also raised questions about the legality of the unit acting as it were from verifiable data at its disposal just as the governor of Rivers state last year accused SARS of being behind the upsurge of kidnapping in the state.

It will be interesting to hear what the police PPRO will say now that his officer in Imo state has been caught red handed extorting monies from Journalists! Yes, you read that right.

On the morning of Sunday March, the 31st 2018, four bloggers who had attended a two-day parley of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) in Owerri were accosted by a team of the Imo State SARS led by one Uche Ndumele. After frisking them for exhibits, scrutinizing their credentials and finding nothing incriminating, officer Ndumele still condemned them to an imaginary crime for which he threatens to pin on them except they pay up.



Nigerians who have been caught in similar situations can attest to the fact that once a crooked police officer gets to that desperate point of threatening to pin a crime on his victims, the best thing to do is to pay up or risk ending up in jail or worse. Such was the case with the bloggers who after delivering lots of pleas that fell on deaf ears, the bloggers turned the incident into an opportunity for investigation by allowing themselves to be driven to an ATM by officer Uche Ndumele and his boys where 10 thousand Naira was withdrawn and handed to them. Unknown to the officers who have been blinded by the excitement of an early Easter Gift, the smart journalist were acting an investigative script. They took pictures and this is where the saga began.

Naturally, the Bloggers reported the incident to the president of OMPAN, the association that brought them to Imo state in the first place. Angered by the report, the president sourced for the number of the officer in question and called him to demand an explanation and although officer Uche Ndumele denied the allegation, his guilt could be clearly deduced from his meaningless ramble when the president informed him that the issue has already been reported all the way up to the presidency. His confession will be confirmed later when yet another leader of OMPAN called him and he owned up to the crime. Both calls were recorded.





It is scary the kind of power men of the Nigerian police have appropriated to themselves. A few years ago, six patriotic and law-abiding citizens of this nation were gunned down by men of the Nigerian police in Apo when the criminals in uniform discovered they were transporting huge sums of their hard-earned money. Last year or so, a video footage that appears to show a police officer in full uniform negotiating a bribe surfaced in the internet and one would have thought the big stick will be wielded then, but no, little or nothing was done to the officers in question.

So many cases have come in recent years indicting police and despite all the talk of restructuring that Jimoh Moshood promised will be brought into the conduct of SARS and the entire police following the #EndSARS campaign, Nigerians are yet to notice any changes as the police continues to be a source of embarrassment to this nation with everyday reports of extortion and other unsavory practices. This may be so because crooked officers have not really been treated to a punishment befitting the severity of their heinous crimes against the people they have been charged to protect.

This is why this incident with Uche Ndimele must not be wished away. The Attorney General of the federation, the leadership of the National Assembly, the police headquarters and all relevant authorities whose duties it is to protect Nigerians from the high handedness of armed criminals masquerading in uniforms of security agencies to quickly step in to ensure that Officer Uche Ndumele and his gang of crooks are brought to justice. Any country that does not create a template that will keep its state security apparatus in line is doomed to be slaughtered by the same security it armed. Where then will be the place of deterrence if the police are not rid of bad eggs like these who I contend are many if not more than the good ones?

I can’t even imagine the trauma that Nigerians who are not Journalists acting out a script will experience in this circumstance where they are matched at gunpoint like common criminals to the ATM to withdraw bribe monies. This I believe is a window of opportunity brought on a platter of gold for police spokesperson Jimoh Moshood to show Nigerians how his establishment handles cases such as these that are backed with the kind of incontrovertible evidence at the disposal of OMPAN when they are brought to them. Do they swing into action to investigate and prosecute or will they take the inglorious route? Nigerians are watching.

The Government of Imo State have reportedly laid low the Akokwa market in Imo state Nigeria leaving many traders stranded.

According to report reaching us, the market was destroyed in a controversial move similar to the Ekeukwu saga in 2017 and like that one, one person was said to have been shot dead by an unidentified person who people suspect to be a member of the security officials that accompanied the bulldozers to the market .

Update : Update reaching us has it that the dead man was not killed at the Akokwa market destruction. According to a respondent, the man was reportedly killed by a police officer last week over extortion issues.

Which I relayed the information to those who worked with me & to IMO state based artiste association, I showed them the text I received to clear doubts let it not be that I did not appreciate anybody or I made millions & decided to eat alone.



A lot has been said and I don’t want to go into any of them at the moment because I was obviously misunderstood and misquoted in some of the blogs & social media publications.

I also repeat, I have no issues with AY & I don’t have problem with anyone, It’s a brand new year for AY and I will still work for him with my heart..

OrjisblogTV Media Team was able to meet up with DJ-Paky today to get the full gist concerning the on going controversy between DJ-PAKY and Ay's management. 

According to Dj-paky he was side lined and made to feel mediocre by Ay's brother after giving a shut down performance during the recent Aylive show held in Owerri.

Dj-paky made us understand that no appreciation was shown to any of the owerri based entertainer who performed at the show in his words he said 

" we were called upcoming and made to feel less important after performing our heart-out in the Aylive show and actually helping to promote the show".

The LagaLaga CEO expressed his disdain and anger concerning the treatment given to every owerri entertainer who performed at the show, he made clear though that no contract was signed between him and Ay's management but he never thought he was running a charity show [in context] and he further stated that their representive 

Mc Yellowmouth who was meant to fight for the interest of all owerri based performer did nothing but show indifference towards this issue, which makes us to wonder was Dj-paky betrayed or is there more to this story.....

DJ Paky who played at AY Live Owerri comedy show on 29th December, 2017 has called out AY, AY’s brother (Lanre Markun) and Yellowmouth Concept for not paying him and every other Imo state based artiste that performed at the event that attracted a very big crowd.


The DJ disclosed to GistGate Media Team that he was contacted by Yellowmouth (a comedian and event manager from Owerri and partner for AY Live Owerri) who assured him that the deal with AY will work out fine. He (Paky) then put in his best in promoting the event to his own fans, assisted in circulation of flyers, and most importantly was the main DJ of the event that took place at the International Convention Center Owerri but as at today, January 11th 2018, neither AY nor Yellowmouth Concept has reached out to him to pay him for his services.


DJ Paky further revealed that AY’s brother added insult to injury when he (Paky) called to complain to him. AY’s brother (Lanre Markun) who packaged the event insulted him over the phone, telling him that he does not know of any DJ Paky and that AY can’t pay any money to any Imo state based artiste because all of them are upcoming artistes and those who performed at AY Live in Owerri were did a favor by getting a platform like that to perform on!

Unfortunately our driver decided to take another route, so he turned and we toke Bali LG so he can get to Ibi LGA. That was the journey with another extension of 4hours.

I couldn't reach any correspondent in that area so I could get the full details of what happened there a night before. So i depended on other news agencies in the state, unfortunately for days now i have been waiting for the comments from the government for what's happening there. No Government official has addressed the issue or say anything relating to that.

It will surprise you to hear that people are being killed on daily basis within the state, yet the government has turned deaf ears to all of these killings by unknown gun men.

How long are we going to continue like this? How long does this wicked men take the lives of there fellow? Just in the quest to conquered their selfish interest.

How do we fold our arms and watch this barbaric act strive in this state?
It's time we use every available tool on our hands (Social Media) to make our voice heard and to save a soul in Taraba state today. Join hands lets make it trend.

Some Days ago I was travelling from mambilla plateau(Gembu) to the south east for the new year celebration after spending some time there for vacation. If most of you have been  following  my posts on facebook you'll notice that I did make post with the caption

Unfortunately our driver decided to take another route, so he turned and toke Bali LG so he can  get to Ibi LGA. That was the journey with another extension of 4hours. 

I couldn't reach any correspondent in that area so I could get the full details of what happened there a night before. So i depended on other news agencies in the state, unfortunately for days now i have been waiting for the comments from the government for what's happening there.No Government official has addressed the issue or say anything relating to that.

It will surprise you to hear that people are being killed on daily basis within the state, yet the government has turned deaf ears to all of these killings by unknown gun men. 

How long are we going to continue like this? How long does this  wicked men take the lives of there fellow? Just in the quest to conquered their selfish interest. 

How do we fold our arms and watch this barbaric act strive in this state?

A 4-year-old boy was found dead in an uncompleted building after his cousin kidnapped him with the hopes of getting a ransom of N5 million from the boy's rich father.

The boy who is the son of Alhaji Jaji was bound hand and feet and kept in am uncompleted building while the suspect waited to receive the ransom from his family. Police eventually nabbed the suspect and upon questioning, he disclosed where he kept the child. The child was found dead when the police got to the uncompleted building.

*ARE OHANEZE NDI IGBO AND SOUTHEASTERN GOVERNORS STILL IN NIGERIA*.

It is disheartening that since after the Biafran war that ended in 1970, that the Southeasterners have not had a genuine and transparent government and leadership (I did not say RULERSHIP which we see now in the hands of our present Governors).
This is in exception to the late Dr. Sam Mbakwe who single-handedly transformed Abia and Imo state when both states were still one as Imo state.

The late Dr. Sam Mbakwe led Imo state from 1st October, 1979 until 31st December, 1983 under the Nigerian People's Party (NPP).
Mbakwe was a lawyer and political scientist who had the interest of the people at heart. Mbakwe's administration's main priority was to improve Imo state roads. WHICH HE DID.

As concise and precise as this might be, enough of Dr. Sam Mbakwe's history and achievements.
This is no longer 1979 neither is it 1983. *This is 2017!*

This is not 1979 when Sean Parker with net worth of $2.6 billion was the richest man in the world or 1983 when Nate Blecharczyk with net worth of $3.2 billion was the richest man in the world. This is 2017 where Bill Gates with net worth of $86 billion naira is the richest man in the world.

With the above illustration you will agree with me that a whole lot has changed.
But it is so disappointing and heartbreaking to know that nothing has changed in our roads instead we lose people on daily basis on our bad roads.
It is really funny but true to say that none of the roads linking the Southeastern states to each other is in a good motorable condition.
It is heartbreaking to log on to Facebook on daily basis just to see pictures and video clips of road accidents on these roads.

This ultimately brings me to my topic of discussion today.

*ARE OHANEZE NDI IGBO AND SOUTHEASTERN GOVERNORS STILL IN NIGERIA*

If the answer to the above question is in the affirmative, then what are their roles and functions?
Are they in existence to become liability to the Igbos or are they there because people must have to represent or occupy the offices?

Most times when Southeastern Governors make harsh policies you tend to ask yourself if they are there to make or Mar the people they were meant to protect peacefully.
There are numerous man-made disasters going on in the SouthEast which are mostly overlooked due to the unconditional love of hope, kind heart, caring nature and frequent regards for a bright future of a typical Igbo man.
An Igbo man, as illustrious as he is can endure pain and still show love to his neighbor.
This singular act, I haven't seen in our Governors of today.

*HOW DID WE GET HERE? HOW DID WE GET HERE??!*

WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT FOR THE SOUTHEASTERN GOVERNORS TO PAY SALARIES TO THEIR CIVIL SERVANTS AS AT WHEN DUE?
Sometimes salaries won't even be paid for over four months for no just reason. But will be so quick to collect tax from traders and keke drivers and their likes.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR ROAD CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES?
Is it that the construction companies turn down the offer of constructing durable roads or that you have vehemently refused to meet with them in that regard?

WHY IS IT THAT AN EASTERNER HAS TO TRAVEL DOWN TO THE WEST OR NORTH TO PROCESS VISA BEFORE LEAVING THE COUNTRY?
So, you all mean to tell me that it doesn't bother you to make series of trips before you can be either GRANTED VISA or DENIED thereby incurring unnecessary expenses?

*SHAME!!!*

2019 is almost here, most of you will be seeking for second tenure or to become Godfathers as the case may be after your own tenure must have elapsed just to make sure you are still having the state underneath you.

*HOW DID WE GET HERE?*

*WHAT DOES THE OHANEZE NDI IGBO AND THE SOUTHEASTERN GOVERNORS SIT DOWN TO TALK ABOUT?*

I don't even want to start talking about the numerous number of bad roads in the States.
Mr. Governor, since you love bad roads, enjoy them in your state but have a meeting within yourselves and plan towards constructing good, durable and motorable roads that would link all the Southeastern states.
*Federal roads or no federal roads, the people need good roads. Enough of the excuses!*

This is the 21st century.
Of course, your children won't be outside the country forever.
They will eventually come back someday to meet the mess you have made in your respective states.

From my own perspective I think Wizkid has gotten to the same level that 2face is and from the way he is going he might surpass him and also attain legendary status in a matter of years. There is hardly nothing 2face has achieved that Wizkid have not done or surpass. But can Wizkid command the same respect back at home just like 2face?I would say …and I would leave it at that.

-AS GOVERNOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA SHARES 2000 PASSAT WAGON CARS TO THEM IN REPLACEMENT

Also in its Urban Renewal pursuit, Keke Operators in the state will cease to operate in designated areas in Owerri, the State Capital as from Tuesday, September 5, 2017 and will only be operating in some areas around the State Capital. Only taxis will now be operating in the Capital City.

For that reason, the governor shared about 2000 pieces of Passat Wagon Cars to the Keke Operators on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 to enable them comply with the directive. Balloting was conducted at the Hero’s Square for the beneficiaries to emerge.

The second batch beneficiaries will get theirs in October while the third batch will have their own in December 2017, adding that keke Operators would no longer be expected to operate along the major roads of Douglas, Wetheral, Bank Road, Orlu Road and other designated roads”.

Addressing the Keke Operators Governor Rochas Okorocha said, “Few years ago when the Keke people gave me a very resounding support, I promised you people that I will change you from three legged to four legged and for that reason, today marks the beginning of movement from tricycle to full car. Now government has made provision for 2,000 taxis to enable all of you to have one taxi each. This is done to give you comfort and make your life prosperous. I would have not been happy if I finish this government without fulfilling my promise”.

He said “For purpose of clarity this is government empowerment scheme to empower the masses, to reduce pain in your families and to bring comfort. Keke has served us well in Imo State and I want to thank you all for serving us well but as Imo State is developing and getting better with good roads and a lot of infrastructural developments, Keke can no longer be the appropriate means of transport within the Owerri City, this is why we are moving from Keke to a full car”.

He continued “Only few days ago, you heard the story about EKEUKWU MARKET, and few months ago you heard the attack on the Urban Renewal and few years ago you heard about the free education and the attack by the elite, you will agree with me my people that I have come to rescue Imo State. In all these, I Rochas Okorocha your governor, has no direct or indirect benefit from my free education or widening the road or even relocating the EKEUKWU but I see that in the next ten years Imo will appreciate what I have done for them”.

“I give you this cars without subjecting you to pay for forms, or cost of transportation or any another fee, I release it free of charge, I am doing this for God’s sake that the poor people may smile.

“I want all of you to understand that I am making the highest sacrifice that it may be well with my people. I have tried to make Imo much better than I met it, as I struggle painfully, having sleepless nights to make the life of my people better, I want you to reciprocate by joining me in the fight to rescue the state totally from the hands of scavengers ravaging the state over the years.

“I relocated Ekeukwu to stop crime in the area and clean the city of dirts, so that light can come in but the Sadducees and Pharisees cashed in and changed the narrative. Only yesterday, they said they want to pay condolence over a child that was shot, let me tell you, neither the Police nor any government official shot any gun and till today nobody has shown where the blood of that child was but this happened along Mbaise road not even on Douglas Road”. he stressed
