I want to first offer my sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Ardo Mohammed for the loss of their father, husband, friend, and loved one. May God grant them strength, peace, and comfort during this difficult time. However, I have a serious question. Benue State is widely known as an agricultural state. So why does Miyetti Allah, an association established to promote and advocate the welfare of Fulani pastoralists and cattle breeders, have a well established branch in Benue State? What exactly is the purpose of its presence here? I ask because many attacks that have claimed the lives of Benue farmers and other indigenous people over the years are always carried out by those same Fulani people. I am not speaking as an outsider. I am a Benue indigene. I have lost family members, relatives, and loved ones because of this crisis. I have also escaped dangerous situations more than once. So these questions come from my personal experience. Another thing that keeps bothering me is this. Benue is home to many non indigenous tribes living and doing business peacefully. Yet, the only group I constantly hear about attending peace meetings is the Fulani. I have never heard of the Igbo, Yoruba, or other tribes holding repeated peace meetings in Benue. So I keep asking myself, why is it always the Fulani? I am genuinely curious. I also saw the Benue State Government's press statement condemning the killing of Mr. Ardo Mohammed, yeah, that’s what every leader should do. But my concern is this. When innocent Benue citizens lose their lives in communities across the state, why is it that the same urgency and strong public response often seem to be missing?? Every life matters. The life of a Benue farmer is not worth less than the life of anyone else. If we truly want peace, then every victim deserves equal sympathy, equal justice, and equal attention. So I ask again, is justice truly for everyone, or does it only seem visible when certain people are affected? |
Anytime you see the bodies of criminals and gunmen eliminated by the security forces, especially in the southern part of the country, you will always see beads and charms on them. Those charms were meant to prevent bullets moving at 1600 miles per hour (faster than most commercial airlines) from penetrating the soft and fleshy tissue called the skin. The difference between the purchase of those charms and penis enlargement cream is that in the case of enlargement cream, the customer can secretly ask for refund inbox when his thing fails to grow bigger, but the other ones can't. If they are alive, it's working, if it fails, they can't come for refund as they will be on the other side of the world.

A man with hairy buttock should not jump over fire......Tiv proverb.😁😁 |
The governor addressed the people inside armored tank, the president addressed the people at the airport. The message is very clear. So I wouldn't be surprised if anything goes south 😁 |
