someone just called from my bank to confirm if i applied for canadian visa, to which i confirmed the affirmative. i used two bank accounts, but only one bank called. I applied via paper route on the 6th of july. has anyone else ever experienced this? should i be worried?

does it mean the Canadian visa office called your bank to vet your account or just to ask if you had account with them ...na wa oh

It’s just gimmicks! Maybe a mistake coming from where you went for biometrics. Sounds like the kind of email sent to applicants who file paper, was somehow mistakenly routed to you.

okay thank you ...when I got to the visaoffice that day after waiting for sometime on the waiting list upstairs a guy came and took some of us downstairs to do our biometric

Oga just calm down. Once your application is done online there is nothing to track. It will continue to show that Record Not Found. That stuff is meant for people who did paper route. I applied almost 3 months now it is still showing that same thing till now. Come to think of it, once you open your profile, everything is there for you to see and that explains why there isn't anything to further track.

Might be an error or your application moving extremely fast. Never heard of an email with tracking number a few days after submission and biometrics completed. Tracking for what? Something is amiss. Are you a fall applicant and when does your school start? You are late applying.

the subject of the message was: application accepted .
my school starts January winter ...and the message was from visaglobal.ca ..the message states that "we will like to inform you that your application has been processed in our office on July 24 you can track the status of your application through our website below using your tracking number ..then tracking number followed below.


the message ended with

and this message came within 24 hours after my biometric

I want to work on my note 4x Xiaomi food ear piece ,screen replacement ..body change I mean the battery cover or body of the phone ..and a very good charger as well

You're required to have your acceptance letter, tuition fee receipt (If any), the correspondence letter, international passport , Sponsor bank statements ( they hardly request for this) but go with it.

You will be asked questions like :
Is this your first time in Canada?
What is your purpose of visit in Canada?
You came with some money with you? Etc....

After this, the immigration officer will then issue you your study permit on your passport. You will also be directed to a counter where you will get your SIN (SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER), which permits you to work 20hours per week during school sessions and full-time during scheduled breaks in the academic calendar predominantly during the summer and winter breaks.

If they ask you to do medicals, chances are great you will get it. If they ask you for passport, it’s a slam dunk done deal, you are in!!

I told him what to do, to get insurance coverage in Canada and address in a detailed SOP why his health condition would not posse undure burden on the Canadian healthcare system. He never reported his findings, perhaps went AWOL.

I gained admission into Thompson rivers university January intake 2019 ..I will be doing my biometrics next week...online route ..when they ask for my passport ,is it a sure approval and when they ask me for medicals is it likely an approval after medical ,and when will they ask me for my passport. please what and scenarios that plays out in this instances ?

They are professionals at IOM Abuja. Not only are they giving you a medical check ups, the doctors meet with you individually to enlighten you on HIV prevention and the details of each medical test and what they are doing. They bring a really humane touch to the practice and you take some valuable life lesson away from there, not only a medical result. I highly recommend them. And they waste no time. On the very day your test is confirmed as passed or not passed (usually 2-3 working days), is the very day IRCC will get it. I did mine on a Tuesday and it was ready sent by Friday they called to confirm. And out of all the faces that come there, they remembered who I am and touched on particular conversations we had. Wonderful experience!
