Good afternoon consular officers, thank you for all you do to help us.
I made a mistake when filling my form ds160 but unfortunately, i discovered the mistake a day to my visa appointment.
I subsequently filled a new ds 160(since i'd already submitted the other one with the error).
I took the old one and the new both with me on the day of the interview.
However, I wasn't allowed in for the interview as they said my changes hadn't reflected in the system.
Am I eligible to reapply?
Will my MRV receipt still be valid?
If so, can i use it for another application?
Can I get consideration for an expedited appointment?
I'm at my wit's end, please help!

Inspector General of Police, Idris Mohammed has said that the security details of the Anambra State governor were not withdrawn as was erroneously alleged.

He however said it was only the aid-de-camp attached to the governor that was withdrawn due to the previous experiences where such cops worked for their principals.

The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano had said his life was in danger following the withdrawal of his security details.

He said the withdrawal was ominous as it had exposed his life to eminent threat.

Mohammed said it was not the first time such action was being taken, assuring that the decision would not in any way affect the security of the governor,

He however assured the restoration of the governor's ADC as soon as the election was over.

"We've authorised the withdrawal of the ADC because of previous experiences where in the past ADCs were arrested with vehicles loaded with arms by soldiers.

"Withdrawal of the ADC would not affect his security because we have a total of 26,000 policemen who would be deployed across the local government areas of the state.

"I want to assure him that on Sunday morning, immediately after the election, the ADC would be in his house," he said.

According to the IGP, there would be restriction of movement within the state and its neighborhood beginning from a day before the election day, as well as the election day proper.

He said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Garba Umar, had already been asked to stepped down for neutrality while another who had no affinity with state would take his place.

"We are bringing entirely new faces to conduct this election. We need your cooperation and support. We are going to conduct 'stop and search;" we are going to raid some black sports," the IGP said.

Reacting, the head of the governor's reelection campaign organisation, Chief Victor Umeh, described the withdrawal of the governor's adc as an act of intimidation to humiliate him.

He said he is still the governor of the state till next year March and should be

"There is no place in the law where it is stated that the ADC of an incumbent governor who is going into a second term would be withdrawn from him.

That is tantamount to violation of his constitutional rights and privileges, at the same time making him an ordinary citizen.

He said some people had boasted in the past that before the election, they would demobilize the governor, saying the removal of his security aide had authenticated such boast.

Umeh who noted that the explaination of the IGP was not satisfactory to the governor's anxiety, argued that he could have cautioned the ADC rather than his complete withdrawal.

He however reassured the readiness of the party to participate in the election, no matter the condition, saying that "we can't boycott the exercise.

In my last post, I was writing about how Nigerians scam each other not knowing that someone, at the same time, was using a fake Facebook account bearing my name to scam Muhammad Junaid of his hard earned mone of about N93,750 in Bitcoin.

It started when I wrote that I needed Bitcoin to buy. Muhammad and some others signified interest in my comment box. But because I was looking out for the cheapest rate, I took a pause to eat breakfast while waiting for more sellers to arrive in order to pick the best bargain.

Now, somebody went and created a fake profile in my name, added Muhammad, asking him to send his Bitcoin to a wallet.

Thinking that it's the same trusted "Somtoo Okoye" people have known for years and without asking any questions, he sent the Bitcoin to the scammer who disappeared, instantly deleting the profile/or Facebook deleted it.

Now, I don't know why someone will use my name of all people to scam an unsuspecting fellow.

In the close to 30 years I've been on earth, no human being dead or alive(in Nigeria, abroad, earth, afterlife) will say I've taken what belongs to him/her. No mortal can say I'm owing him let alone scammed the person. Why should someone bring disarray and confusion to my whole day now by using my name to collect money from someone?

I now curse:

1. The scammer who stole Muhammed Juniad's money or anybody's money using my name.

2. Any local or international yahoo boy, 419er or scammer reading this

That you may know no peace. Your entire lineage, generation and offsrings shall wipe away painfully before your very eyes. You shall die a very painful and shameless death. Your death shall be used by parents to teach their children why they should not do evil.

If I have done the slightest yahoo or scam on anybody before, let all the curses come back to me but if I've not, madness scatter all the families and beneficiaries of you yahoo criminal reading this. You shall never see peace in your life from this moment.

Lagos has the highest debt profile in the country and yet the level of infrastructure isn't commensurate with the level of indebtedness. Ambode and his party led by his master Tinubu are scam artists. Illusionists; more like the more you look the less you see. That's why 'progressive' Lagos has refused to open up its budget and has refused to domesticate the f.o.i bill. Most people have to realise that these guys are masters of propaganda.
