Since that I would be busy at night and in the morning, I use that period to shop and and get important stuff done--I would still obtain permission before embarking on these. This job should have more men on shifts, but they don't want to hire more persons.

Being a good orator, my employer felt threatened and stylishly mentioned it in one of his presentations.
