In as much as it pains me to see one of d best performing ministers from GEJ go,it is d best thing to do due to d conflict of interest.I wish there cud be anoda way out but form d barage of criticism of GEJ govt, he cud nt risk having a minister whose company Geometric has interest on Afam plant- one of d plants to be privatised .I know dat if d company dared won d bid, opposition wud av seen anoda opportunity to accuse GEJ of corruption.I just wish d replacement won't take us bak to square one.

Guys shud take this very serious oo. You might be surprise to find out later that d so called stipend might be more than 150k. Am saying this bcuz av always been indifference to any thing government until my guy called me that he got 8 million naira grant for the Youwin program.Waaaaat !!! High tech business planners, marketers encompassed in good management is  what drives a company. Look at d guy's (Dangote) choice of business place.Ogun state.My point is ,the guy is a good entrepreneur and works with best of brains in buz development.

@rhymz U made a very good point or observation rather, but u cant dis-associate business with politics.Not that one has to be a full time time politician to be a successful businessman anyway.The different between Dangote n Innoson is that dangote uses politics to advance his business unlike Innoson and daz probably why the 1600 buses FG bought were imported. No thanks to FG. Even in developed world, business men sponsor some policies that will keep them afloat.No crime for that.Shell,chevron,exxon n so are working real hard to ensure the PIB is watered down cuz it will affect them tremendously if the original one is passed.

Imagine what a bill dat bans importation of tokumbo buses or a 60% hike in tariff of any imported luxurious buses will hv on Innoson company .
Innoson has started soo well n need to be encouraged by good policies.He needs savvy marketers to take d company to next level cuz I want to see it in PH not just Enugu. Most states are buying buses to cushion the effect of dis subsidy removal/hike in fuel pump price.He shud enter an MOU with states n b4 u say jack d whole country will be flooded with his buses. These guys (I mean Capital Oil, Folawiyo, NIPCO etc) all have tank farms. I know this because my friend is a petroleum surveyor and has been to the tank farms belonging to most of these companies. I don't know about registration with CAC but I guarantee you, that's not a difficult thing to do.
If at all any of them do not have, then they will be the minority.
The fraud I percieve is in the astronomical increase from N500m to N1.4 trillion in one year. Someone needs to check that and tell us what happened.




I said virtually Mr.Meanwhile is one thing for u to register a coy n another thing for ur coy to do what is registered for.Many of these coys are construction companies which hv nothing to do with oil importation n marketing and that is where the fraud comes in.The other one is, u might hv seen some tanks n got wowed whereas it has not met the standard to be registered as a marketer.I know of one called master energy in PH here yet they dont hv d license.most of them started building some tanks wen they were already importing n collecting d subsidy.

The crux of the matter is that their is massive fraud committed  by these so called rich men n they shud be made to return every penny to Nigeria coffers QED.

I laugh wen some people argue that these importers hv done nothing wrong. First of all, virtually all of them aside the major marketers(MRS,Total,Exxon,Oando and ap) did not meet the requirements to enter the business.Reason being that they dont hv storage tanks,n were not registered in cac as oil marketers. The question is how did they enter the business and started enjoying the subsidy ?  There is no other reason than that they connived with some NNPC officials to commit the fraud.
Financial fraud is a criminal offence, and I think this is where EFCC would hv to show they'r in for business.

One thing I hv observed from GEJ is that he does not claim or act like him alone knows how to solve Nigeria's problem.OBJ's approach was setting up a panel for one thing n setting up another panel to monitor d first panel,and another to monitor d second panel.Panel after panel yet it didnt work soo well.

GEJ has come up with a different  approach.cut him some slack n let see if it  works out.
I think we should see it from the perspective that GEJ  wants to deviate from the usual approach to governance owing to Nigeria peculiar problem.GEJ knows there is power problem,education,road etc but do u expect him to know d best approach on fixing it ? Hell no.he has to consult technocrats in that field which he is doing tru the ministers.they will x-ray d best approach to solving it b4 he gives a go ahead order.  

GEJ is running d country like a business n any business man wants good returns.Me I like am like dat.I think we should not be holier than thou here.letz give him a chance.if his approach is not ok we will vote him out come 2015ie if he  re-contest.
